Yeah thats what it cost before to do a fight? If your capturing Illuvials of your team level "unless you are farming down" you are going to have to use so many Resources to win the fight you'd only be able to capture 1 at all. This says failure to captures now don't cost you anything and in 90% of the cases this is the same. You can't tell me this has a anything but a net increase in resources gathered and even illuvals as it now cost nothing if you lose

The only time it would cost more this way is if you try to catch 2 or 3 illuvals i guess

thats so rare for high level illuvals its not even noteworthy. But the fact you can go to region 3 try and try to find rare things and if you don't farm rare materials is a bad change. I hope they change it back and make some risk of your energy when you enter the battle.

Well I do now that we have testnet ETH lol and yes, it doesn't directly increase the chance to get a high tier, but if you can just autoscan and start a new run if you don't like what you're seeing, you are effectively ending up with a much better chance to find a high tier illuvial at some point. Besides, I wasn't just talking about the autoscan being unfair. My point is that autoscan will play very much against longevity, because you no longer HAVE to explore, not as much as before anyway.

I don't think the illuvial scan on the map, is a good idea. It kills the "adventure and thrill" of the game. Can the Illuvium team please remove the feature or at least put a max number of scan allowed. Or if you really want to keep it, make it a drone equipment hard to craft.

Exactly! For Mainnet it's a bit of a cheat. There should be an element of unknown when playing. That unknown element is part of what makes the game stick. That's what makes it fun and adventurous. Should be removed on Mainnet or a drone equipment that you work hard to gather resources to craft. Maybe a Stage3 equipment.

I was surprised too that you get 100% dust from it. But it makes sense. If you deconstruct you destroy it and get x amount of dust. If it breaks during capturing you get the same amount of dust too. I don't see where you could lose dust when you break it in 2 different ways. But idk if it stays like that for mainnet or if they only test it anbd change it afterwards. i like it how it is now
