when i started this, i hated brightland, mined the swamp for a while.... too big and bumpy, heatmap doesn't work.... switched to crimson, took 40 mins.... got it down to under 10

Those who have skills, not like us 😦 some of them stream their runs, you can check it by yourself. I did over 250 hours, catch over 1100 illuviums and no single ophistos for me bth. So I only can blame it to my skills or luck I guess

Sure, that's the difference. It's a game after all, all skills and grinding counted. How to organize your run, when to run, where to run, how many runs per hours, how many hours per days, per week, there's alway some insane guys can do unbelievable stuffs. If I can cheat, I would make it 1000 account with 5 ophistos each rather than 100 ophistos in 1 account 😅

And you should really learn that. Because if you could place 10 Illuvials then you would have like 0 energy left at the end of the fight and get only a single chance to capture Illuvials instead of 2-5

The problem with the mission system is that you are done at one point. Finished all dailys? Wait until tomorrow. finished all weapons? Never craft them again. There should be new daily missions as soon as you finished them all. To keep the motivation high. Or something different to do. With holos you could always catch more. You always had a goal to achieve. That is not the case with missions right now

But this is the problem when you only test one part of a game and not the game as a whole. some things are more fun some less. you can't really choose

no. There are only specific affinity/class combinations. It is not as flexible as bonding where we could combine anything. T0 are the old weapons and only have base affinity/class. T1-5 has 3 weapons in each tier. Stage 2 and 3 of them get composite affinity/class. Weapons work the same as Illuvials now

Reported this also ingame. Just thought you are eventually aware of that. Also there is progress shown as it was shown for the daily xp farming quests
