It'S not randomly selected. They have a different spawning algorithm. You should see more higher stage/tier Illuvials in OW and not only archies and chucos

i use less consumabes. i find it easier with ethereals because you have less enemy illuvials. meaning encounter mods are for less illuvials. that extra damage mods hit way harder when you fight 12 small illuvials than if you have 6 big.

yeah try catching as many stage 3s as you can their spawnrate is currently pretty good.
Whatever fits into your team, lets say you play 9 fighter, then you can also lvl 1 of the 3 inside your team to as high as possible, and the others 2 just a little.
They share exp so if one is extremely well lvled while the others are lv0, you can still fuse.
This way you can fuse a few while you need to catch most of them

Tier 2s is a sidekick you do while catching others, cause those lynxes are everywhere on stage 3 worlds.

At the end you can finish up whatever is missing on tier2

i'm pretty convinced the error lies in how capture bonuses are calculated for the displayed % vs how they're calculated internally to detemrine success. the formula seems a bit complicated (for my old ass non math self). But there is a pretty clear "pattern" for how the formula behaves.

So if you want a tank with max defense you need to fuse 3 illuvials with perfect defense stat. Then it is guaranteed. But if you fuse illuvials with different stats you don't know what stat will be carried over

Why would you play with 2 Rhamphyre? Just put in another Inferno or phantom unit. Rhamphyre alone is not that strong. Without any other Inferno/Phantom you don't even activate it'S synergy

But the problem right now is that the spawn rate of higher tier Illuvials is massively increased. That means the bonding curve hits harder for higher tiers because they are caught way more than it will be possible in the main game

Don't worry. It is useful. And it works. It is just that your % chance is shown too high. And you will feel bad because you miss multiple 80% captures in a row 😅
But that has nothing to do with your drone upgrade. The problem is a different one. I would 100% use hem. i also use 2 capture chips on my drone atm

I would say that it works because of that. The only thing that is missing is the bonding curve that adjust the % downwards. The team confirmed that the UI doesn't adjust for the bonding curve and that's why the % shown is too high

Bonding curve is out since PB4. That's why it already is working. And it is even worse for higher tier Illuvials. Because high tier Illuvials are supposed to spawn very rarely and are now caught way too much so the bonding curve has a big impact on them
