It's a bug, sometimes there's an issue if you try to update your deck right after changing the drone chips. Workaround is to set the drone chips, leave the inventory, then go back and change your deck

I only equipement on my drone the Phase Compactor -10% cost for mine so the cost is 90 EE.

Nothing Special, I just found 4 Big deposit mine close to each other.
3 of the 4 was Seismic Quartz know for shards drop and the last one was Tectonic Neorite.

Arena can help you provide skill from game play on the battle board which will help you capturing illuvials in Overworld by playing smarter.

Arena can provide you weekly reward if your in the top something.

It's all depend on you.

In my case I prefer focusing on Overworld and mastering it like a true hunter 😄

I dunno... I know plenty about the algorithms for spawning all the things, but the specific probabilities are set by the design team, so I don't even know what they are. However, considering that nobody has reported seeing one yet, I think it's a fair guess that the probability on holos is 0 for now 🙂

Yes, need to consider the cost in the fuel Crypton as well 470 vs 1 450, it's 3.08 time more, so we should expect something similar on possible loot.

Can you remember how many illuvials did fail or escaped in your stage 2 run ?

Stage 2 doesn't really allow you to capture more, it's all about being efficient. With drone components my wake cost is 484 and it could be even lower. I use the rift energy to squeeze in one more wake at the end. Nothing escaped in this run, I have high capture power, and I am training myself to use slightly higher shards than required because loss to escape will feel very bad after Open Beta when a catch will have real value!

Hey guys I tried playing the game sometimes there are issues with the graphic in one place in the map …

I always imagined when they will produce the over world will be like game craft of like Priston tale if you remember it but with a better version .. and better graphics. Aww how it will booom and thrive if it was in the same way but different futures and also if have monsters in the world and u have your main next to you and fight as well or capture

Btw how do u get the shard that u use to catch illiviums and also how do u catch them I tried hitting it then it says woke up and ran something like that I tried jumping on it also no use. But once I hit it when I was very close then I fought with it

I think there is a huge space for development to make it something really really interesting.. adding futures from pokemon 😂 adding gaming style or lvling or other things from priston tale and Warcraft

Many many ways instead of just puting an areana that you put cards and fight the method should change in a better way then that it will be more joyful

You could look into some youtube vidros or streamers playing the game live. There is no tutorial and it is tedious to explain every time xD I know @candid eagle streams basically every day, with 1.5 hours of Overworld. Viper and Illuvination are very avid Arena players. And there are a bunch of other regulars! So do check out their streams 🙂

This is a sneak peak in future content. The idea is that you are running in a land where monsters from a different dimension roam.
When you shoot them you scare them away and they flee into a different realm. So then you shoot trackers at them and after X trackers it actually sticks and allows you to follow them back to their realm to catch/battle them.

They dont fight because it is not in their nature to fight you yet. (And because it would require a lot of dev hours 😉 )

As of now it is not possible to manage to achieve full progress f2p, correct? (Catch all Illuvials and so on) because you need crypton to travel in higher tiers. Or has that been changed or is it planned to change here something to make it 100% f2p? So earning would need to come over other ways i.e. that can speed up the progress like in other games.

Let's see how it plays out. Just checked other successful games from web2 - pay to progress is a less common monetization model. Needing to pay continuously is less fun than wanting to pay some extra money for customization, faster progress and so on. At least my opinion right now ^^

GM - would anyone be able to explain Illuvial XP in Overworld? I'm on maybe 20 or 30 runs now and my basic earth Doka are about 25% xp to fuse from lesser to greater. It just seems waaaaay too long. Are there ways to increase the xp? Tricks/tips? Any help in understanding is welcome - tyia

I can see your concern.
But imo human beings are totally used to spend regularly money for fun and bragging rights all over the place... games, party, holidays, luxuries etc.
So, the activity or the goods just have to be fun, enganging and should have bragging factors in to be succesful and make people pay for it.
That a continous payment for a fun game can be succesful was shown by wow, where you have to pay monthly subscription in order to even play the game.
Many cardgames like pokemon, heartstone, magic etc. have proven that people spend money for a pack opening experience in order to either get something good for a competitive deck or just get the cards missing in their collection and playing paid overworld runs is in the end a gamified pack opening. You enter a region, puff pack of cards is opened and now you can choose which cards you want to keep.

Also you have the option, if you are an experienced player to even make profits out of your gaming experience, because you can sell what you farmed and not necessarily need in your collection or deck.
Having this built into the game-universe is such a qol update from other web2 games where you can sell your stuff on a 3. party website.
You can also monetize your gaming experience with playing competitive, reaping leaderboard rewards, getting into paid ranks in tournaments etc.

The incentives to play the game are already many, very smart and will just increase over time.

• A fun gaming experience in a high quality game
• Leaderboard rewards
• Tournament rewards
• Collection building of absolutely stunning creatures
• Well built out ecosystem
• The assets you collect are yours and you can sell them or buy assets from other players
• Assets should gain value over time
• Assets are available in multiple games
• Grind and progress (Leveling and fusion of illuvials)
• Growing ecosystem of games (Not like 1 game and when you finished it you buy another game)

and many many more reasons...

When I travel to stage 2 or 3 it takes to much of the fuel how can I get the fuel back ? If I lost all of it won’t be able to travel to stages beyond 0 how can you get fuel later on ?

I've been away for awhile, does the rock shooting seem like overkill to anyone else? One of the main complaints about IZ is that they took their sweet time getting rid of the useless level-up pop-ups, and as a result, people were getting burnt out on all the clicking. It's fine to disagree, but the question is still out there. I don't find shooting at a rock to be all that exciting. And be careful what you wish for. Spam-clicking every illuvial you want to go after and every rock is going to get tiring at some point.

Hmmmm an excellent question. I don't tend to give simple answers so bear with me.

Key differences are the i5 processor versus the i7 processor and the Hardrives situation.

Most say you dont need any better than an i5 when it comes to gaming in PC land. From what I have seen I don't see a reason to doubt that. However if you like doing non-gaming things such as photo or video editing then the i7 processor is a really big deal imo, if thats not your jam then I don't see a big reason to spend extra.

Also Computer B has a 1TB SSD which I'd argue is giving you a really good deal here, allowing u the freedom to install things like Illuvium on a much faster hard drive, which I personally think is a big win.

What I would investigate is if the motherboard for computer B has a slot for an M.2 SSD Nvme Drive. The risk you run is you will run out of space within about 5-6 months if you are an avid gamer, for <$150 you can buy and install like a 2TB NVME M.2 SSD Drive which is like 100x faster than your standard SSD. Not only that but installation is insanely easy, its kinda like plugging in a USB, with an extra screw involved 😛

So TLDR @fervent topaz . If u only use it for video games, Computer B is the better option, and you can use the savings to upgrade your storage situation 6+ months down the road. Also a GTX 4060 is mental and really what is key for Illuvium, should have no issues doing max settings regardless of CPU

There are 3 major kinds of hard drives, HDD, SSD and NVME SSD.

The first 2 use a SATA connection to connect, which is kinda like a special USB port, and they are generally placed in specialised trays around the back of the PC. I've never seen a motherboard with less than 3 SATA ports.

The third type is slotted directly into the motherboard, which is what helps it be so much faster, I've only used them once and my Motherboard has 2 NVME ports. So I suspect the SSD it comes with is an NVME if it has that statement, but hard to say.

Someone solved this early on, and it still works because I just did it to take the screenshot. You get as close to the gap as possible, and then drop a teleport forward so that you can teleport to the other side of the gap.

You can't really go anywhere on the other side.

There’s no information about that. Because it’s still just an idea. But the idea is play more to get more “points”. These points are not visible anywhere.

Pretty sure you're talking about the leaderboard here. The score is related to the value of the things you collect in the region, with a time multiplier. But I think T0 things are worth little or nothing, which is why you see a score of 0. Play in higher stages if you're looking for leaderboard placement.

The only illuvials I manage to see on stage 3 was Tier 2 Lyxnes.

To make the capture of Illuvials more interactive, consider allowing more capture attempts per encounter or, even more fun, consider adding a skill-based element to the process.

It is very disappointing to finally come across a rare illuvial only to "miss"

This could be corrected different ways:

1. Allow multiple "throws" up to the number of remaining "points"; therefore at least one extra throw is permitted per match, but only if the Illuvial is "missed" not in order to catch a second Illuvial.

2. Add a skill-based mechanic to the capturing mechanism. For example, there could be a time-based "press" input when Mozart first draws/pulls in the Illuvial, and then another time-based "press" input when Mozart is squatting for the final animation.

This could be represented by a change in color, something more grand and geometric to increase the "hype" of the capture, or by using a simpe concentric-circle/sphere representation in which the outer circle encloses and the player must press upon their alignment on a visual/audio cue. The closer to "perfect" on each pass the greater the "capture strength multiplier"

I have been playing overworld since before Christmas, and over the last 2 weeks i have been experiencing increasing frequency of bugs, winning a battle then the game concludes i have lost and being respawned at the obelisk (3 times the last 2 hours). Multiple capture attempts and skill are baked into the process. The number of capture attempts (barring escapes) is based on the mastery points remaining after the battle. So figure out how to win a battle with fewer points and you'll have more left over for capture

I would like to see more discussion about drone components efficiency/strategy, especially for capture runs. For example, I have been doubling up on the Phase Compacter to lower Encounter cost, more fights in a run for more capture chances. For this Stage 1 capture run, I went for capture power and lower escape chance instead, less Encounters but few escapes. I'm wondering which strategy will be best when a run costs fuel, and losing an Illuvial will be much more painful! Potentially losing a Stage 3 Emberlynx would have really hurt . . .

You may have misunderstood what I said before... If you fuse three Illuvials with X, Y, and Z for some stat, then the fused one will have X, Y, or Z for that stat - 1/3 chance for each value. If you had two Illuvials with X and one with Z, then it's 2/3 chance for X and 1/3 for Z. But 100% chance that the new value will be one of the inputs.

I misunderstood initially as well, but think I get it now. There are 18 total inputs - 6 buckets from each of 3 illuvials. So, system takes Attack Speed - 3 inputs and selects one - that's the new input - no deviation is done to the number, then moves on to say Attack Damage - all three have an equal chance of being chosen and the system chooses 1 and inserts it into the new fused Illuvial. It does this for all 6 of them and that's your new Illuvial?

Is this way of calculating fusion output stats written in stone? Wouldnt this result in the vast majority of illuvials having little value? No one would fuse illuvials containing bad stats. Would'nt it be better to get a stage 2 illuvial which contains the highest stat from all three illuvials fused across the 6 categories? In that way, an illuvial with 5 poor stats, and one good stat would still be able to be used in fusion, and not discarded with little value

I second what Linkky said, first thing I do is always upgrade the boots and jetpack to 2nd stage. You'll find that (currently anyways) the boots/jetpack/visor all have 3 stages (basic, advanced and supreme)

The difference from one stage to the next is considerable.

I noticed that 40% of my Egon Energy is generally going true those scan but it's not worth having the scan dronechip you can save more Ergon Energy with the dronechip reducing Encounter cost since the total cost of the Encounter is higher = more gain in the end.

Besides not seeing alot of great illuvials, the battles are crazy with the random boosts in stage 3. In the current state its much better to farm stage 1 and stage 2.
