I still have the skin bug where I have made several of them and cannot place them in my inventory, and there is only one in my inventory with two empty slots. Once in a while, it works, but most of the time when I enter a region, the one that went in after several dozen attempts is now no longer equipped, and not in my inventory. Check the purple bar at the top of the screen, it's based on the costs of the units & items you use vs the strength of the enemy team. If you go for overkill on your team, you won't have much Dimensional Stability left for capturing

The dev team needs a reality check, I REALLY hope they adress how dead the overworld looks like. The game needs NPC and more things to do. More Maps and jump mechanics won't do the cut. People will get bored in the first week if the game continues this route at the end of the year.

Could be cool but lets leave that for future updates! Lets first get the game out in a stage that allows you to play it and have fun. Then expand upon it with NPCs, dialogue, forced battles and such.
Dont get me wrong, it sounds nice and will probably make the overworld feel more populated but if you think about it from a Lore perspective: You are literally stranded on a new planet with dangers everywhere.
NPCs dont make sense just sitting around in such dangerous places. But after exploring the regions for a year or two, it would be a whole different story.

I know lore is important for immersion purposes and narrative building. On the other hand fun factor and addictive gameplay is whats makes a game last for months, if not for years. In the game current state we are not even close to compete with games of the same genre like Temtem or pokemon. Graphically is another story but graphics does not make a game.

Go into your locker. Press inventory. Remove all your illuvials to the locker. Then switch out the new upgrade for the drone and deconstruct the other one then go back to the locker and place your illuvials back into your inventory.

I've noticed similar issues with chips resetting to an earlier configuration when only swapping out one or two.
Unequipping and depositing all chips in the storage and then taking out the ones I'm planning on using usually seems to work though.

You need to have the right shards. The three you start with are just the tier 0 fragments. If you mine shards in the “paid” zones you’ll be able to get better ones.

tip: you will need to do run in Tier 0 and extract ores from mine in order to boots your Equipment Jetpack, mag boots + Visor.
At least, get level 2 of the Equipment this will help you a lot in Overworld.

Also, try to get some illuvials bulwark Tier 0 Grokko what ever you want the affinity to be (water, earth, fire, nature, air). They are great help a tthe start. Their Omeg ability is an AOE stun.

How do I get more components?

To get components in Illuvium: Overworld, players can follow these steps:

1. Go to the Zero Point Forge in Sanctum Mesa.

2. Go to the Deconstruct tab, which allows you to break down weapons and armor into their component parts.

3. Choose the item that you want to deconstruct and confirm the action. This will destroy the item and yield components that can be used for crafting.

Keep in mind that different items require different types of components to be crafted, so you may need to deconstruct multiple types of items to access all the crafting options.

I always work backwards. I find out which components I need, and then craft the cheapest x I can for breakdowns.

So to get higher tier weapon you’ll need higher tier material.

Both of those stages have a random chance of failure that's affected by the Illuvial strength, the shard strength, and your drone upgrades. And a separate chance to escape the encounter if the capture failed. So if you're getting lots of failures, use higher tier shards and upgrades

Note that there is 16 slots per mine, the Ores, Gem stones or Shards dropping from it depend on the type of the Deposit.

In this exemple, it's a Seismic Quartz, which seems to be the best to find Shards.

Everything in Overworld is NOT an NFT currently, and will not be an NFT at any point. There will be a full reset of Overworld before Open Beta, which is when assets will start to be NFTs. This is true for Arena as well.

For both games, anything you get right now will not be a tradable asset in the future.

In Illuvium: Zero, Blueprints will be mintable during a minting window towards the end of Alpha Season 1. That is correct.

Illuvitars are a part of Illuvium: Beyond. They can only be acquired by trading or by opening d1sks. They are NFT assets and they will continue to exist through Open Beta etc.

They exist to give the players incremental upgrades of their equipment. Without them you could just save up resources and go directly for the highest level upgrade, taking away any sense of progression and making the game much less enjoyable.
I'm not sure what you mean with complex, since (to me at least) it's a very simple mechanic present in pretty much any game that includes crafting.

you most likely want to do t0 runs a few first, because you want to upgrade ranger gear (jetpack vision boots) and you need to catch some illuvials, to be able to beat t1-t3 encounters

I'm trying to capture my first Illuvials - so I went into the singularity, won the battle, used a crystal on each of the 2 illuvials and it appeared as though Mozart captured them - I could even read all about them. But, when I went to use them in the next battle - they weren't available, also not available in locker. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, when going back in sanctum Mesa. You have to go to your locker storage press i and click deck to see your actual deck.
If you want to remove Illuvials in your deck, right click on it.

If you want to add Illuvials to your deck when in the terminal locker storage, right click on the Illuvials you want to add to your deck.

Your deck his the Illuvials you bring on you to help you win encounter. Default slot of your deck is 5 but you can increase it +4-6-8 with the drone chips.

hey all, so i've captured a few illuvials but do not see them available on my battles. Is there steps to be performed to get them available as battle illuvials?

I don't even see the captured illuvials in my illuvium hub, are they supposed to be there as part of my profile?

Or is hub just for illuvitars?

You need to go to your storage in Sanctum Mesa and withdraw them to your deck before you can use them in fights
