Volume 2. Early America Survival
Isolt, spending time in the mountains using her magic to survive, thought that she herself was the only witch or wizard in all of the Americas, which was not true as Natives were known to have uses of magic but not use wands. Over time she eventually met two magical creatures, a large Hidebehind, a wolf-man creature that could contort it's body to hide behind anything, and a Pukwudgie, a relative of the Elves with it's own powerful magic and hunted with poisoned arrows. This Hidebehind was young, but had the Pukwudgie trapped and was about to disembowl it limb from limb. Isolt, using her magic, fought the Hidebehind off and saved the life of the Pukwudgie. Claiming that she had saved his life and he needed to pay his debt with his own protection and help surviving. Not telling Isolt his name, the Pukwudgie was called "William", the name of Isolt's dead father, and while the Pukwudgie didn't enjoy any of the work he did, Isolt enjoyed her time with him and he showed her many more magical creatures, such as the Snalligaster, the Hoadage, the Wampus and many more. Over time, between the two, Isolt and William the Pukwudgie, a friendship developed and they spent lots of time surviving the lands of the Americas, eventually Isolt encountered a large snake like magical creature called the "Horned Serpent". William, always intimidated by this creature, kept his distance, but Isolt, being a descendant of Slytherin knew how to speak Parseltongue and understood what the Horned Serpent was speaking to her. Sometimes when Isolt returned to the Horned Serpent to speak with it the creature would say "Until I am part of your family, your family is doomed." Not quite knowing what this meant, she continued her life with William the Pukwudgie.

Volume 3. The Boot Brothers
Eventually during William the Pukwudgie and Isolt's time surviving in the forests, William heard a strong noise coming from a distance away and told Isolt to stay where she was, however, worried for William, Isolt followed him into the forest discovering the same Hidebehind that she saved William the Pukwudgie from back and having slain two adults, a mother and father, and two severely injured boys. William, trying to fight off the Hidebehind hadn't quite succeeded yet and Isolt used her magic to fight off the Hidebehind with William. Happy with what they did, William ignored the moans of the hurt children on the ground while Isolt tried her best to tend to them. Telling William that he would no longer have any debt to her if he helped her with the boys, William and Isolt took them to a small place they used as their home. After bandaging the boys' wounds, William left, slightly upset that his friend no longer needed him. Over time, Isolt realized that both the boys were magical, and she used her skills in potions to try and keep them from dying. Eventually, she felt the boys had recovered enough for her to go and give the boys' parents burials and graves that the boys could occasionally visit. However, when Isolt returned to the dead adults, she found them both already buried by a young man who had even made fancy stone graves for them both. The young man eventually picked up both of the adult's wands, sadly looking at them and gave the wand of the adult male a slight wave. Since the young man was a No-Mag (Muggle, but NA Term) the wand kicked him strongly back into a tree, hurting his head. Isolt, worried for the young man, took him back home to nurse him back to health. Eventually the young man was well enough to tell Isolt his name, James Steward.

Volume 4. Birthing of the School.
Helping Isolt get the boys back to health, James and Isolt eventually were able to ask the boys their names, in which they told them that they were Chadwich and Webster Boot, and were about 9 and 7 respectively. Wanting to keep the boys from any danger, Isolt and James adopted the boys and raised them as their own. James, being a skilled Stonemason had talent with building things from stone and wood. Isolt and James worked together to build a small stone house on top of one of the mountains that Isolt called "Ilvermorny" after her old home in Ireland. After using her magic to help build the house, Isolt spent time teaching the boys about magic, also telling them the tales she was told of Hogwarts. Incredibly curious of a school that taught wizards and witches magic, the boys asked why they couldn't go back to the UK to get their Hogwarts letters. Isolt, not wanting to scare the boys, didn't tell them of Gormlaith and what potential dangers she could bring. So, Isolt eventually told the boys that when they each reached 11 Years, she would make them both wands and teach them everything that she knew, even turning they're small home into a homeschool that would accept any form of wizards or witches. The boys were so excited, always spending their time not working trying to learn more of magic and what it could do. However, this promise brought a small fear to Isolt, not knowing how to make a wand, and not wanting to disect the wand she stole from her Aunt to learn how it was made. Over time, Isolt and James fell in love with each other, marrying and becoming a whole family. Eventually over the years on the week before Chadwich's birthday, Isolt had a dream where she went to the Horned Serpent she spent time talking to, and it lowered it's head, letting her shave a shard of it's horn.

Volume 5. Homeschooling?
Eventually, Isolt did what her dream told her to do and went to the Horned Serpent to shave off a part of it's horn, the Horned Serpent acted exactly to the dream, thanking it, Isolt took the shard of the horn and went home and talked to James.
James, being a Stonemason had skills with wood and stonework, and she asked him to craft a wand using the Horned Serpent's shard for Chadwich as a birthday gift. Using his skills, James crafted a lovely wand that when was finished, Isolt left on the table for Chadwich on his birthday. Chadwich was so happy with the wand Isolt gave him and turned out to be a very talented spellcaster, and to finally start their school, which they would call Ilvermorny, would all base one of the Houses, an idea they got from Hogwarts, would each be based off a magical beast. Chadwich, having a huge love for exploring, chose the Thunderbird, a massive relative to the Pheonix that could cause huge storms. Webster, still not being 11 yet, chose the Wampus, a Panther-like cat with 6 legs that was both a skilled hunter and lightning fast. Isolt, being very talented, chose the Horned Serpent, a smart and skilled snake creature that even scared Pukwudgies. And James, not knowing much about magical creatures, chose the Pukwudgie, a relative to Elf that had it's own dangerous magic. Over time, the personalities of the four slowly dripped into their houses as they slowly welcomed more and more students with magical skills (Especially Natives) making each student their own wands which had to be left at Ilvermorny while they went home. Over time the house became more than just a school, and eventually evolved into a massive castle considering what both James and Isolt did to continue making it. Ilvermorny slowly became a famous school amongst the Americas, taking in almost anybody with magical skills.
