I don't mind it for what it is, I never played D1 to compare it so I don't know how much it's changed. I just recently started since witch queen came out.

Ah yeah. Basically if you preordered it they had made it free to play not long after and only explanation they gave was “oh you didn’t preorder it you payed to play it early” then the removed the base story and 2 dlc content without removing references to them. Killed off a fan favorite character then removed the story it happened in. Now the only ftp part is the social aspect despite it being advertised as ftp still
