Steam has only one shop article of Hogwarts Legacy, and not 2 seperate ones like playstation. It is listed for normal Hogwarts Legacy edition, but you get the deluxe items and things included. Because of this it says 10th, but you get it earlier

I would say at least 80% are a "mix" of the houses because one "only" has a few main character traits that obviously almost never completely suit you etc. So they are only to give you an idea of you and where you fit in good

It's not really dumb. Console games cost more specifically because the consoles themselves were sold at a loss. The upcharge on the games is to recoup that loss.

I'm not debating, i'm just saying, you're not paying 'for better settings', You're paying for the components in the console which were sold to you at a loss.

Look at this way, The PC equivalent of the graphics card in a Series X is a 2070 Super. That Graphics card alone costs $500. Nevermind all the other components you need to buy to make a functioning PC. Whereas the Series X in its entirety is less than that at just $450. You would have to spend like $1000 to make a PC as powerful as a series X. Literally more than double the cost for peer performance.

The upfront cost of a console is the biggest barrier to entry for consumers so Sony / Microsoft deliberately sell the consoles for less than it cost to manufacture them to get more units sold, and then they rely on game sales (with the upcharge) and PS+ / Xbox Gold to recoup their loss and turn a profit. You pay more for the game because you payed less for the platform. I imagine most console players would rather pay $10 more for their games than $500 more for their console.

Gta online is not a mmo, and the wizarding world game would be like World of warcraft which is a nice idea. But for especially the first game and where the focus is on rpg with dialogue, cutscenes and detail and overall immersive gameplay with actual choices singleplayer is the way to go. There could be a seperate game like gta online seperate from the main game, but this would need more years of work and its better to do dlcs with more content tbh

Modding MP into a SP only game can be very tricky.
It's been done before, but results vary a lot.

For instance in Skyrim it barely worked, lots of desyncs etc.
Cities skylines also has a MP mod, which is trash (at least last time I tried it). Different game entirely, but my experience with MP mods in SP games isn't exactly good.

Im definitely looking forward to modding the PS exclusive stuff into the PC version Asap :p

It would be a lot simpler than modding in MP.
In most games the content is present, but is locked untill a year after release. Sometimes enabling the content is literally as simple as changing a 0 into a 1.

Exploring and combat is for singleplayer, If you want to just walk through the map and watch some buildings thats alright but not a thing they would add for. It would need to be a seperate game mode with things to do together. or I guess fighting could be done together yeah

this is true but due to what happens to us. aka like just as the game takes off we survive some event that gives us not only the ability to produce magic but we can also percieve and weild ancient magic. i think our character would want use to learn everything about that type of magic instead of playing a game.

it definitely existed during the time period it might just be difficult to implement since the sport doesn’t have incredibly clear rules, but hopefully there will be a dlc or mod in the future!
