It applies to the next hit. You'll see a burst of flames around you (similar to Defuse Raging Flame) when it activates. It used to work where all of your attacks for a few seconds after a successful parry would apply Burn, but they changed it to an AoE burst of flames.

I don't know why they put that effect on the character with the smallest hit count on their charged attacks, it would make Cloudscorch actually decent if it was on a character like Kurumi or Tarka Ji.

Hmm, Erudition could be decent since it hits 4 times each use though. It taking up two Souljade Slots for such a combo though hurts.

You will get way more of this than fragments so don't need to specifically farm it but yeah nirriti gives the most.

Most efficient for looting is hard lvl. It's pretty ez so you spend less time compared to higher lvls cause they are all of same fatigue consumption.
However it misses some particular jades which are only obtainable in nightscream/legend, same with anima rings.
For build it's best to take thunderstorm/ element accumulation/burn/lotus.
People that do higher difficulty are usually after particular souljade drop/anima ring/ showdown pass quest once or if you are just bored of hard difficulty being too easy

For Solo I like running Viper w/ Hydroflare rings. If you can manage to get Atomize by Zone 11, you'll be set for a really fast run, but unfortunately it's pretty uncommon.

Otherwise, I like using Tarka with Thunder-Element/Lotus rings to burst the bosses down extremely quickly.

For Trios I like running Yueshan Thunder-Element/Lotus rings or Tarka as well.

In my opinion, any build or character is viable for Ruins. Obviously, if you are doing Legend (the hardest difficulty), use a top tier character and strong build.

Yoto's a bit lacking since she can't equip Aerial Rend in Nirriti's Ruins (even after the Greatsword buff), so aside from her Ultimate, she doesn't have any high DPS options or enough AoE for mobbing quickly.

Viper's my comfort pick since she clears very easily once you get the Hydroflare Blessing online.

Tarka takes a bit more effort, but he can burn down bosses faster and the cannon is a good option if you have upgrades that help it.

old recast system if you want a maxed stat on your main jades you gonna need to get a trash jade with that maxed stat, then do a gamble ''transfer''

Having both systems had its advantages for sure.

like it's kinda guaranteed that if you empty your fatigue every week, you will get a maxed build around middle or 2/3 of the season

and without a maxed build you could still do every end game contents, and a maxed build is only really needed when the end of the season is here

If you're desperate for fragment because you're stuck in your progress, then you can deconstruct everything ranged, and get them back later when you won't be in deep need.

You can keep only one of the element jades, you don't need to keep all the elements. If that Jade became of use all of a sudden, you can simply change its element with imbue. If you need some Fragments to progress (who doesn't? ^^) you can remove the duplicate and keep only one.
I was keeping one of each element as you do when I started, and was simply a loss of place and a lack in fragments gained.

I don't remember anything about that. I don't think there is a sense limit for having rares attributes to spawn.

Nothing you can do if it's the second rare. You'll need another Flux to change it.

Now if your jade isn't with great attribute %, you can change that second rare you don't want into any attribute with a high % by recasting again and again. Use a Flux on a low % attribute you have and finally change that first attribute with high % you got into an attribute you want like atk, health or anything.

That's how you can get something out of having an unwanted rare.

That's sadfully impossible to answer.
Normal attributes have a "hard pity", do 60 recast and you'll choose your non-rare attribute. There is a counter you can check, so you know where it is.
Rare attribute have a "soft pity", every time you don't get a rare your chance to have one on next recast slightly improves. But there is no counter. So no way to know what works and what doesn't and when does it get put bck to 0. We don't even know if there is really one, or if it's only some line of text put in the interface to make us believe in it ^^

In my experience the cap of getting a rare is 150 recasts. I've never went above 150 without getting a rare.
However, at first I didn't know that u couldn't get a 2nd rare through recasting so one time I almost recasted 300 times on a jade that already had a rare.
Then I had to further recast another 90 times to get a rare on a new jade with no prior rares. So that leads me to believe that recasting a jade that already has a rare won't count towards your hidden rare 'pity'.

I thought that but I'm not sure. Coz like in the example I mentioned. I recasted 300 times a jade that already had a rare on it. So I should have gotten a rare the next time I recasted a jade with no rares on it. But nah I still had to recast another 90 times to get a new rare.
So basically that 300 recast didn't count towards the rare attr chance

Thunder Scorch best for Solo Yama's.

Thunder Lotus is the weakest Lotus build, while Poison Lotus has around ~80% of the DPS of Ice Lotus.

Heroes wanted certain element builds before because of their -Wielding Jades being unbalanced. Some were much stronger than others such as Yueshan's Torrent Flow Souljade. It's still strong, but there's better alternatives now that are universal. That combined with them making Element Jades universal as well, makes it no longer matter.

That if you have a souljade with one rare attribute on it, you won't be able to recast another stat on that souljade to a second rare attribute. But you can reroll the 1st rare attribute to a different or same rare attribute.

I don't see much gain here. You need 50% more keys as you only do 2 bosses instead of 3. Same Fragments per fatigue used, but more keys drained.
I prefer to stay with the 3 bosses method too.

Plus even if it's in Peak, killing the 3rd boss isn't harder than the two firsts. On Topaze (can't say for Peak) solo, the 3rd boss usually dies faster than the first.
It starts to be more difficult bosses at the 4th.

It's the best for Fragment per fatigue. But it's the worst for fragment per time spent in game.
3-bosses is good to mix with Nirriti or complete Topazes/Peak for a change. And it's awesome weapon xp if you still need it (plus you can do it with any hero, doesn't matter if he's good or bad).

From what I saw last week, if you do mainly Peaks/Topaze 3bosses, your crystals' stock will tend to lower. So Nirriti does give more of them.
But you still need Nirriti for the keys anyway, unless you have a team to farm Speedrun.

Playing SEA is special for EU players. You should have around 200-250ms ping. Plus the « hidden » trio latency. It needs lots of training to adapt to it. You ll sometime have your character moving back where you were 1-2 sec ago to receive a hit. Or get hit by a monster swinging his weapon 5 meters away.
It’s not a too big deal for mobbing or low level things. But for end content it can be … hard hitting on the nerves. At least for me.

Yeah, if your Skill isn't up when Poison Blast comes off cooldown, you'll have to accumulate it slowly.

Also Arcane Thunder is a lot less effective with not enough Mod (if you're using that).

Damn... did the math, Ice Lotus Mod would deal 25.2% more DPS than my current Poison Lotus Mod on Matari...

Reducing Toxin Blast down to 5 stacks wouldn't even be enough to close the gap.

But as long as Elemental Dmg makes up at least 1/6th of your total output, it'll be better than Dmg to Boss. On Matari for example, even with the high weapon dmg she can do, it makes up ~24% of her damage output.

Usually you want 8 bosses because you're using a gold key. But over 600 fatigue if you don't own much gold keys you'll want to keep them for next week. So how does 3-bosses Peak looks like?

Peak being only 8 bosses instead of 9, does doing 3 bosses changes the cost (10 fatigue) or the number of Jade dropped compared to Topaz?

You can kinda see it here, you want to lure the mobs with Aegis into the Poison pools, or really as many mobs as you can at once.

I'd say just from this one thing that makes Poison better than Ice for mobbing.

Yeah if you're trying to do damage rather than be carried.

Having to put yourself at 4 Ice-Wielding reduces your total Ice Blast DMG by ~30%.
