will this work for kurumi? I'm gonna duo with an Inor ( my main goal is : i gotta keep em and me alive as long as possible XD)

chrome cliff
#

you can skill red instead

#

i personally do not go IR on kurumi but it is not wrong to do so

#

can explain it this evening on stream if you are interested, this is a 10 minutes rant that will probably help you a lot

#

10 pm CET ish, link in bio

#

if you want to ask stuff, please reference

#

so i am not brain afk for 5 minutes to figure out who you are

u basically almost get blue buff

Can someone share Tara gans abilities in English here? I wanna read about em but I wont be able to play for a few days

whats the best dps?

willow cipher
scarlet dew
#

probably inor in trios and akos in solos

#

theoretically tarka can output the most dmg but in most situations he cannot

little cargo
#

Theoretically golden musket with armor piercing, slow shot headshot in range of 10-79m, having another 3 atk sj with food to amp the atk with Tarka's V buff your attack with the result is death/shot

#

Unless you talk about showdown build in which dps matter, I don't think Naraka really care about dps much.

so i was in the realm of spirit 1v1-ing a zai, got her to low then suddenly she got the shayol shield, the shield also function normally
i'm assuming her shayol teammate pops her ult outside so this zai also gain the shield, but i'm wondering if it's intended or not?
and if it's intended then does other global range ability like zip ult or tara ult also works?

What glyphs do I want for Zenda Wu?

#

I can't find them anywhere not even in the pinned video or pinned builds

scarlet dew

for every hero basically

alternatively change reds to greens with initial rage

but without reds ur rage economy is super bad

Zenda Wu is so fun to play, but I hear a lot of her combos were removed from the game or something? are there any updated combo videos for me to learn from? All I find seem dated.

Who plays duo with Tara Gan?? what hero would be best to partner with her in duos?

#

Guys, I would like to ask for some help collecting some info because I cannot find those anywhere on character skills

Just now I noticed that Feria's silencing F actually interrupts my golden focus after a parry (so I couldn't counter)

#

Which wasn't always the case as far as I know

#

So my question is, could anyone tell me which (derived) skills interrupt golden focus strikes? I know Lannie's F does when she slams the ball down, then there is Feria's silencing F, Takeda's demon push (ulti derived F) also pushes ppl out of golden focus, but I don't know which other ones do

#

So that I can actually know when fighting the enemies what to expect

#

I also know that not every skill has "Interrupts golden focus" in their description, so in-game tooltips/descriptions aren't at all helpful here

scarlet dew
#

well so first of all u need to get familiar with several concepts

#
  1. moves have body focus and attack focus, which are often different
  2. focus levels are split into ability focus and weapon focus, ability focus has prio if its the same tier, but higher tier weapon focus can beat lower tier ability focus
#

e.g. yoto old ultimate (V2 - the one with big slashes only) has ultimate focus body but the attacks themselves are only gold weapon focus

#

so u can armor them with gold focus combo breaker for instance

#

like tessa F1

#

another thing u need to know

#

after u parry u get golden ability focus

#

but when u release the parry, this attack is just gold weapon focus

#

so if u feria hits u after parry, but before u release

#

it will not interrupt u

#

but if she shoots u during counterstrike animation

#

u will get interrupted

#

most of gold abilities/attacks are only gold weapon focus

#

and can be armored

#

exceptions are mostly CC abilities like valda spear

#

or shayol shield throw

#

or takeda slashes

#

and if focus level of body and attack are equal

#

then attack focus will win

#

e.g. if u and enemy hold blue

#

and u release

#

u will stagger the enemy out of blue

left river
#

wow, thank you for the detailed explanation! ❤️

#

just a silly question: if there's no such explanation in-game, how the hell are we supposed to know all this, apart from literally trying everything? lol

#

it'd be nice if we had a collection of such info somewhere

#

I mean, it's a good thing now that ultimate focus gained pink color (it was high time for that, since it was also golden, but NOT golden focus), but even that came so late IMHO, I was so confused for like 2 seasons straight, like "gold-gold, what's the difference?"

scarlet dew
left river
#

Well, I rarely say things like this, but in this matter, I call total BS on the devs' part

#

Since it's a crucial core mechanic and not some advanced technique

scarlet dew
#

whole game is like this

#

game tells u nothing

#

even ult descriptions are incomplete

#

e.g. zai ult says nothing about refreshing F

#

sometimes game even teaches u wrong stuff

#

like teaching untrue combos in free training practice challenges

#

and lets not even get started

left river
#

bruh XD

scarlet dew
#

on FPS and ping problems

#

idk if u know but FPS give literal speedhack

#

game is tested for 240fps and 20 ping

left river
#

why it shocks me is that while this game is kind of obscure in teh West, it has about as big of a following in Asia as LOL/CS here, so one would expect basic things like these to be explained

scarlet dew
#

so if u have more fps than 240 u have legal speedhack

#

and ifu have less than 240

#

u have slow debuff

#

at 60 or so fps is becomes basically unplayable

left river
scarlet dew
#

simple grapple combos fail

left river
#

what I know that the uppercut grapple charged attack combo doesn'T work with my ~117 avg FPS

#

which is another BS

#

but since I mainly play duos, I can live without that

scarlet dew
#

on ur fps it should work

#

depends which weapon though

left river
#

we tested it for an hour with friends in rooms, it did not work, my friend was able to roll out of my charged attack if he spammed dodge every time

#

(he has around 200-220 FPS)

#

and I wasn'T able to do the same with his attacks

scarlet dew
#

u have 117 in training room?

left river
#

IDK exactly AMD software says I average 115-117

scarlet dew
#

btw also note

#

if u practice combo in training room

#

and it works

#

it may fail in real game

#

when there is more stuff happening

#

with less fps

left river
#

yes, ping dependent

#

and FPS, yeah

chrome cliff
#

the game behaves differently based on fps

scarlet dew
#

ping is also incresed by low fps

chrome cliff
#

low fps can be an advantage in a few niche situations

#

my favorite example is dagger clmb

scarlet dew
#

the higher fps, the lower ping

chrome cliff
#

on low fps, dagger clmb is a generic tech chase for both holddodge and tapdodge

#

on high fps, you need to halfcharge your clmb if you want it to chase tapdodge, and release it instantly if you want it to chase holddodge

#

but generally speaking, higher fps is better

#

it's common to have 400+ fps on high-end pcs

scarlet dew
#

and ping interactions are crazy too

chrome cliff

#

Hi guys, can someone suggest 1-2 good characters for solo mode and combo characters for duo?

chrome cliff
#

viper and temulch

#

they are great for new players to learn the game on

#

maybe not to run them together in duos, but you can play both in both solos and duos and your friend can play something else

#

tessa is good with viper and takeda or feria are good with temulch

velvet gyro
#

Tysm

#

What can you tell about Akos? I just enjoyed playing him

chrome cliff
#

not the best character for learning the game

#

he skips neutral basically

#

and just kills everything with his abilities

#

viper and temulch have a strong neutral focus, so they teach you fighting and movement without relying on the abilities, too

#

with akos you can basically rat until you have ult, kill better players and repeat

#

more so than with other characters

#

but you can play what you want ofc

#

i'm just suggesting what i think is optimal for the purpose of learning the game

cursive birch
#

temmy isn't neutral centered at all

#

u can do any mistakes u want and still have u f on cd

#

since its the lowest cd for a combo break of the game

buoyant nebula
#

hi im a fairly beginner and i enjoy akos hu alot in duos and trios is there a good glyph plan someone can give to me for him?

cursive birch
#

just play silence parry and rage after kill

unreal oracle
#

is zipping still a good support healer ?? what skill is best for her in duos?

chrome cliff
#

you need to have good movement to play the way you describe, beginners do not have that

#

if they develop it while playing temulch, I think that is a great W

#

most players don't develop that in their lifetime

Console players do you have switch, auto, or manual grappling?

Save your ult for when you are really low since it refills your hp bar, or use it when you see an opportunity to secure a couple kills.
You gotta mark enemies with your horizontal attacks or f then use the finisher (verical) afterwards for big damage. Either 2 lmbs or jump lmb into lmb will place the mark.
Jump horizontals are great at chasing, and jump vertical if they are too high up or too far for jump horizontal.
You can get 2 f casts out of your ult if you use the first one really quickly. The f can animation cancel so start with this: Ult - horizontal - f - vertical and you can do major damage right on activation.
If your oponent is good they will try to dodge your attacks, to counter this either delay your attacks or mix it up with jump horizontals.
