New player here, i mostly play yotohime since she's easy to handle. Was wondering are there any good beginner chars? I've tried both Inori Wan and the new character but i cant really seem to utilize them at their most.

it's for good players

you can try tessa

inor is also i would say not for new players because he has no combo breaker

you need good neutral skills to not die

can try cyra too

tessa and cyra have some of the best combo breakers in the game

and tessa has one of the easiest ultimates to use in the game

it even refunds a portion of the ult charge if you miss which is crazy forgiving

no one else gets a refund on missing

viper is very good but u need to know how to play her

very aggressive and oppressivee

but also an easy victim if played wrong

whoever you pick, just make sure they have a "can be used while under attack" combo break skill

until you get better to the point where you don't need it to not get caught in a combo

then you can look at heroes who don't have this skill

for example inor has no combo breaker, but as compensation, he has an extremely good offensive skill, contender for best F ability in the game i'd say besides viper silence

lannie is probably pretty easy for beginners too

you play ult 2

and you bounce the ball off of the environment onto enemies

and get a free focus attack from it

Good all rounder, good at escaping when needed, decent combos in ult

She's good to play in both Solo and Duos

When comes to her skills, 1st skill (Vanishing Act) is good to use if you are playing more defensive, but the 2nd skill (Vanishing Act : Lift) way more better if you're an offensive player

When comes to her Utimates, 1st one (Tricky Bounce) is kinda bad it just lifts you to the sky with a carpet and pass that ball towards every enemy near you. And you cannot attack them by yourself either. Just your ball going and hitting everyone. It replenishes your health a little when it hits your enemies but still not good as enemies can run from the place and avoid getting hit by the ball

But her 2nd Ultimate (Tricky Bounce: Leap) is really good. Once you activate your Ultimate, you can target one enemy to be hit by the ball. It does a considerable damage to your opponent and interrupt their attacks. Unlike the 1st Ult, you can attack your opponent by yourself too. So, while your enemy is interrupted, you can attack them. Even if your enemy tries to escape, your ball still track and hit them while it lasts. And you can use your ball to hit them 2 times for sure. And if you manage your time well, then you can use it for the 3rd time as well

So, you can choose your skill depend on your playstyle. Both are good to play in Solo and Duos matches. But when comes to her Ultimates, it's better to stick with her 2nd Ultimate (Tricky Bounce: Leap)

I'm not sure about my playstyle yet since I'm still pretty new but I've tried all the characters in training and some of them in games, still struggling to decide who to put my time into though

since I've hit Solar I've started to struggle a little in fights so I'm trying to decide on a hero to properly learn their combos

I initially played a lot of Tessa (because I had a skin for her lol) but I don't like her abilities in solos especially, not very aggressive and only cc

Well my main is Cyra. I'm using her 1st Skill when defensing myself and 1st Ult more offensively. Just go through all their abilities and decide which hero suits you. Recommend Quick Matches than training if you really wanna test Hero Abilities. But if you wanna try combos, then you can train in Free Training mode

in terms of design and abilities, I liked the look of Yoto and Lannie so I've tried both of them out in ranked, but still not sure who to decide on. I know some heroes are more meta than others, just wanna get good at someone who's worth learning and fits my style

Same, yesterday I played a Solo match and then got defeated in 5th place. Then I watched the rest of the match. One thing that I noticed is this new hero (Xunhuan Li) is really good too. Both last 2 players were using Xunhuan Li and they fought really well more than 5 minutes. Both of them was really offensive to each other and they were using Xunhuan Li's abilities to defend themselves very precisely. So, you can try Xunhuan Li too

If you wanna play combining Combos with Skills, then I recommend Viper Ning, Valda Cui, Matari, Liam Liu (with his 2nd skill), Kylin Zhang, Xunhuan Li (with his 1st skill). Inor Wan might be good too but haven't seen his skills are being used to combos. These heroes are good if you wanna play very offensively with one combo after another.
And try Tarka Ji, Yoto Hime, Wuchen (with his 2nd skill), Takeda Nobutada, Akos Hu, Zai, Shayol Wei, Inor Wan if you wanna play with combos but go defensive if things go wrong

Inor has a few, but he's not good for combos either

For a character to be a combo character, their skill needs to extend combos, not just start them generally

Ur goal is to leash out as much dmg from an interaction as possible, ideally to the point where you kill the enemy.

Sadly not at the moment. That event was around 2 monthes ago and there was a tournament going on (like J-Cup etc). In the game and in the streams you could get a resource which you needed to redeem for the outfit.

I mean Shayol and Zai are good if you wanna try combo with a defensive skill in addition. But I've seen some people use Shayol's both Skills to continue the combo and it seems like it need good practice and a good environment to perform it. And in my recent matches, I've seen a couple of players are using Xunhuan's 1st Skill (Petal Walk) to perform combos with the follow-up dash attack

I'm not good with any of these heroes though but I watch how others play after I'm defeated. I just told what I saw 😁

In case you didn't find out yet, i'm not 100% sure as i'm not at home, but i think...go to the Showdown menues, to the preparation screen, there are some tabs. One with the characters, then there is the Showdown Store, and then there should be another one. That could be the one you're searching for.

Hello there! There are several ways to level up. Buckle up!

• TREASURE BONUS scrolls -> Use to gain +100% Hidden Treasure XP
• Seasonal COINS -> Each season comes with its own coins, you use them to activate an in-match challenge. If you complete the challenge, you will get BP XP. I suggest using those coins in either bot mode or Showdown mode, to secure that you do the challenge.
• SEASON QUESTS -> Each season comes with its quests and completing them will give you BP XP. Remember you can track 5 quests, so you can see them in game.

TIPS AND TRICKS

• Playing Ranked gives more BP XP, however, you have to be careful if you activate a challenge with the COINS. Failing to complete the challenge will not bring the coins back. (hence why I recommended bot mode or Showdown)
• Quests such as “defeat 5 enemies with X souljade” for a specific weapon or "defeat 2 enemies with range weapon" can be done in Showdown. What you need to know is what character to play:
  Viper - Longsword (Phoenix Blast) + Pistol
  Feria - Nunnies (Dragon Roar) + Musket
  Tianhai - Staff (Merciless Havoc) + Swarm
  Temulch - Greatsword (Earthshaker) + Bow
  Tarka - Dual Blades (Universe Slash) + Cannon
  Kurumi - Katana (Soul Slash) + Crossbow
  Valda - Spear (Heartstopper Kick) + Musket
  Yueshan - Polesword (The Overcomer) + Cannon
  Matari - Dagger (Dreadful Wail) + Pistol
  Wuchen - Fan (Wild Windspout) + Swarm
  Yoto - Greatsword (Earthshaker) + Crossbow
  Tessa - Dual Halberds (Dragonlike Might) + Bow
  Ziping - Spear (Razor Swift) + Crossbow

NOTE: I advise SOLO Showdown -> The Morus Isle -> Chapter 1 -> Eventide Ember (SOLO) AND use the Season Coins to activate the challenge. The season coins challenge for Showdown is to "complete the current stage" aka finishing the match. That will grant you 1000 BP XP. It can get repetitive, but it's fast.

• Do daily quests
• Remember to use Treasure Bonus scrolls.

You use them in the Heroes Assemble match. That's the one you can access with your chamber once in a week. On the chamber screen you should see the next date for it. The leader can adjust the date. When you are in the match, the screen with all the support items has an option on the top left where you can use these Heroic Coins.

Plus, V1 interacts with other ults—with Tarka, if he throws a fire ball; it generates passive fire damage in the area. If Justina activates her ult on kurumis ult, it also freezes, and with valda gets wet?!?!?. I don't use F2, and V2 is burst healing (no duration, unlike V1), and you can use it while under attack—it heals all allies regardless of distance, which is great when you want to heal teammates but aren't nearby

It's a bit complicated. I think it's next week after the 27th, there will be a Naraka tournament with real persons and that whole tournament will be streamed. We can watch those streams and earn rewards etc. At the same time there should be a webpage, where we can spend certain points we get, to do some guessing about what players or teams will advance etc. Correct guesses gets us additional rewards, but it's very hard to succeed on that. In the game there should be another event with rewards regarding that. It's overall quite a big and time-consuming thing.

Which drop are you trying to get? There are usually 2-3 different ones depending on which stream. Official stream drops, partner drops, and regular drops. The official ones only are active during live matches btw and not replays

Also you can only progress one at a time, so make sure you open the stream you want drops from first.

My question is: Does that really work?
I remember trying it 2 years ago when i had heard about it, but it didn't work. I'm on EU, always going for Asura for the 10 treasures, usually on trios. 2 years ago i went to another server and got Asura there too, but i didn't receive any additional 10 treasures there. I'm quite sure that i had done everything correct, but there might be a 1 in a million chance that i did something wrong, because a few days ago some people here told me that it actually works.
I'm on PS5. Currently i have Asura on EU trios. Now i'm trying Asura on NA solo. But i don't want to waste my time if i find out that there is actually something that prevents me from achieving this so...some clear information/confirmation would be really appreciated.
