The coupon discount works on skins with discounts smaller than the coupon’s, just not new skins or event skins. The event skins will almost definitely not be off discount before they expire so you have to pay basically full price just with slight existing discounts💔

you can use silk/gold in-game to restyle them and get a new set of random effects/shapes/colors

and there are some cheaper ones which don't sell out immediately and cost under $100 usually
