So for the December twitch rewards for naraka I watched the stream for 2 hours this morning before the 9:59am mark and I didn’t get the 5 fan light sticks. The counter was going up and than changed to This reward is no longer available. But I got the brighten twitch reward.. which is strange since the lighsticks required up to an hour of watching while brighten required two hours of watching. How do I get the light sticks? Because it would suck to have watched two hours of the stream and only got brighten

Mainly solos and duos so you get a good understanding on the basics on your own or maybe with a friend if you play duos. Trios is pretty really team and communication dependent which require s good knowledge of the game

But first i recommend completing the specialised training

The Tae system is the old one, now you just cancel the ones you don't need, and fill in the ones you need; there is a max of 18 glyphs points you can use , and you need to work your way from the center to the corners to unlock the ones after 👍

you upgrade it by being unlucky in showdown basically, if after a match the game judges that the drops were insufficient it gives you a catch-up score which you can exchange for souljades after you spend a certain amount of fatigue. you upgrade the achievement with each match that qualifies for catch-up points, aka each match that has really terrible drops

Realistically, there is no way to determine if one has a smurf account or not. There are people who train and learn the game properly before going to play ranked and then they preform very well. There was a case like this with one player who played in tourneys. He just trained. I am not denying the fact that some people have smurfs, however, it’s hard to determine who.

And without solid proof of smurfing and a valid explanation, you can’t really ban someone for being good at the game

Kind of a strange question, but how do I play Naraka purely for fun? Whenever I boot up the game because I feel like playing, I feel a sense of dread that makes me want to stop because I'm not that good. I know mistakes and losses are normal, but when I feel helpless in a fight and can't "play the game" I don't have fun. That and my games are either: Everyone is jumping you or nothing happens all game until you run into a good player and die.

Well I get what you mean but perhaps a goal would help you make the fun more game for example a goal to reach a certain rank or the goal to become purely better since progress always tends to give joy and a sense of happiness I'd say then again it's a personal thing. My mental when it comes to improving is very bad which is why I often end up only playing single player or non competitive games. A lot of times I find a game like this I like, try to improve, feel like I'm getting nowhere, take a long break due to burn out (or irl stuff), come back, and repeat. I often busy irl, so spending time to get coached is kind of difficult and idk what's a good and a bad guide on Youtube. I try to watch pro player, but that often just leaves me confused

I've played 120+ hours and got to Gold before (Silver now since I haven't played in a while), but there are massive gaps in-between each big playing session. I also only enjoy comp games by seeing improvement, playing good and destroying my opponents. So I get your perspective entirely. Playing any comp game as a beginner is challenging even if Naraka had a good matchmaking system, since you'd be against more experienced players regardless. This is normal in established comp games. As a beginner it can feel like a losing simulator till you catch up in skill and experience. You would have the same experience of being outclassed by most players in League, in CS2, in Tekken, etc. as a beginner. You improve by playing matches, reviewing them, and identifying your mistakes and missed opportunities on both macro and micro levels. Comparing your gameplay to top players and analyzing their strategies helps too. But the most important thing is that this process should be fun and not feel like a job. If you dread playing, it might be because you feel like you can't enjoy the game until you improve but you feel like you're not improving, so it's like you hit a wall. This is where reviewing and comparing to pros comes into play, because if you got stuck in gold you must be making so many mistakes. Shift your focus from the outcome of the match onto improving and personal milestones and wins. Another thing - let go of your hours as a mark of skill. It is possible to be a noob with 2000h and to be a high level player with a few hundred hours. That depends on the efficiency of the player's learning process and other personal factors. People have different starting points and different ceilings, so don't compare playtime and associate it with skill. Remember that every good player was once where you are now, and that some of them probably also questioned themselves the same way and felt stuck at some point. Keep playing, keep reviewing and learning, and try to find joy in the journey, because that is most important.

Thank you for videos and the helpful words. The way you described learning in comp games basically described my level of thinking, though here are a few things I didn't really clarify: 1. I'm not using my hours as a mark a skill, just to show that I'm not brand new at the game. Total play time doesn't mean much. 2. I wasn't stuck in Gold, it's just where I was when I took a break from the game. But I do appreciate your points and words. I know learning takes a long time, so I try to take it easy and try and try to enjoy myself and be proud of even the small things I accomplish

Naraka is just rough. Even after a year playing and seeing an improvement you'd get to a point (in ranks) were ppl will be just using safe comps and jade spamming, and it can be really frustrating.

Not to mention how unbalanced ping is after a certain update. Also the fps not being capped can cause something more than just a visual advantage (basically enemies stay longer in the air if you have high fps, meaning certain combos are not doable for ppl with low fps)

So that's the thing with naraka. It gets to a point were you get decent/good at the game, and then you gotta work around stuff like ping and fps.

I'm not trying to discourage you but it can get to a point in ranks were it get frustrating and you have sweat it.

That is, if your plan is to get better at the game and rank up.

If you want to have some fun with the game and not worry much about rank then I'd recommend playing Spirit Well or Bloodbath. You get to fight a lot, you get to respawn and try out different heros

And if you want to play ranks maybe consider playing duos or trios. Playing with friend could help mitigate some of that frustration

Glad I could help, it's good you're not using hours as a cope - too many players do, so you are already ahead of the curve. Even if you only stopped ranking up because you took a break, I am 100% sure there are still many places for improvement as I could say the same thing to a bunch of unrivaled asura players. The mindset of going after small wins and mini steps of improvement is what will carry you forward. They compound over time. The correction of those tiny mistakes and missed opportunities might seem silly but that's what sets you up to win most of your fights in the long run, as eventually people who fight you will feel like there is no opening to punish or bait you and it will be really hard to get free damage on you, while you are able to put the pressure on them and put them on the defensive, and that's a very solid foundation to have especially onces that becomes autopilot, one that makes you win a lot of fights by default.

And this is something you can apply in any competitive space.

So if you are good at any other competitive space, think what got you there and apply it here.

You will improve much faster.

This is how some players pick up a comp game and within weeks are already a high rank and play well. These players use the process I outlined, intentionally focusing on improvement by learning, reviewing and correcting, while most players don't and just "play the game" and expect to get better over time.

One tip, if you want to buy crystals to upgrade buy the gold through baize's blessing. You get 3 coins per day for 24 days and you can redeem more upgrade crystals with those baize coins (3 baize coins=1 crystal). It's quite useful as there are multiple levels of upgrades for the lightsaber skin so you can save a bit of money if you have the patience.

Match Recap question should have been posted for everyone just a few minutes after the final Trios match ended, with plenty of time before the expiration.

Instead, someone forgot and the Quest Points time expired.

I always run Naraka in 1440p resolution with HDR off for best color depth, even on my Xbox Series X, it looks super crispy and I will never go back to 1080 ever again. Not sure what your system specs are though
