Can anyone tell me why my game is crashing out when I'm trying to record a match replay? Since they get deleted with each reset, I want to record some of my best matches, but not it's the second time the game crashed to the desktop while doing so, at the same spot it did the first time. I'm using AMD Adrenaline Edition (AMD's own graphics card tweaking/video recording software) with an AMD GPU (of course) to record. So far, these crashes only happen in Naraka (recorded the following games: Nioh, Where Winds Meet, Doom Eternal, Naraka)
No error message, no freeze beforehand, nothing, it just does a CTD as if I pressed Alt+F4
Yes, I do have enough space on my SSD. Yes, the game runs from an SSD.
I mean I technically can try recording it to another storage device (external SSD) and see if that helps. Maybe the game doesn't like saving the data onto the drive it's installed on?

- Switch to H.264 instead of HEVC
- Lower bitrate (try 20–30 Mbps)
- Turn OFF instant replay buffer
- Record at 1080p even if you play higher

Also, try playing the replay without recording and see if the game still crashes. If it does crash -> replay is corrupted, so it’s a naraka bug. If it doesn’t crash -> the program you use to record might be the reason.

But it has a weaker GPU (Nvidia 1070)
Nowadays it'd cost me both my kidneys, sadly 😂
But this can run games like AC Odyssey in 4k Ultra even, with around 50-60 FPS (ran that for testing), so it's pretty solid if you don't want to run EVERYTHING ON MAX. I usually play in 1080p High/Ultra, and that about does it and it also looks good. I lowered the settings for Naraka for more FPS obviously
