By the way, does anyone know why that is that sometimes (very often) we (4-5 of my friends defo who I know of, including me) have ~260 ms ping in matches? Both QM and ranked, from what I've been told (haven't played ranked). Do the devs know about this? EU server BTW? I haven't seen any communication regarding this. Yesterday, I played like 5 matches, in 3 of those, I had that high ping. I usually have around 32 ms.

bro high rank duos were even more shyte last season; 80% of the top2 teams were the combination of Justina, Valda and Shayol (sometimes Tessa, and 80% of the time having a Shayol); now, I'm guily of this myself as a Valda main, but to have literally every other top3 or top2 fight against the same insane CC/deny comp was boring as hell. At least I was running with rnadoms so I've always had someone interesting as my partner

but back to the topic, yeah, duos were fun and I learne da TON (first time I ever reached anything above Empyrean), and I'm proud of myself, but damn those top2-top3 duo fights got maddening super fast

the issue really was Shayol: as soon as she ultied, the enemy team (I'm exaggerating somewhat here) played like Silver players: just spamming attacks in our face left and right after facerushing us, knowing full well we couldn't do anything, and even if we could (say, we parried Shayol or the other), the CC character ultied, we sat on our arses and that was it

and in a top2 fight you cant really bait/lure/avoid the enemy team to wait out Shayol's ulti, they are obviously gonna be on your tails and catching up 100% of the time

sometimes we won against such a duo, naturally, but it was mostly down to THEM making a mistake rather than US playing well

one of my duo partners said it best: "you cannot outplay an immortal and untouchable duo" XDDDDDD

even if we triggered the 1 shield she gave her teammate so that we can at least attack them, in came Thomas the Damn Freight Train with her Shield Bash and off we flew to Kamchatka xDDDDD

or at least 1 of us did, then they 2v1-ed us
