As for the Kamehameha event : I think the .evt (or the equivalent file type) exists in the non Royal version of the game on PS3/PS4 (you can find videos on youtube), but I don't know if it can be ported

There’s a ton of really cool outfits in this mod, most of which won’t be seen by most of the playerbase, so I thought it’d be really cool to see context based outfit randomization. The idea is that every day (or whenever kasumi changes outfits), it’d pick a random outfit based on which one she’d normally be wearing (ex. during winter on a free day, it’d pick a random winter casual outfit, whenever the player works out it’d pick a random gym outfit, etc.) That way it’d keep things fresh and you’d be able to see all the cool outfits the community made without having to manually change them in the config all the time.

I think a randomized outfit option like that is basically a separate mod at this point. It involves pretty much only programming, of which I have little experience. At least CF already has a randomized outfit selector when entering a new field so it could be reversed engineered for this.
Looking at the overall thing:

• The outfit is randomly picked each day --> How does that work in game? Every time a scheduler file is loaded?
• The models are tied to the field --> Every walkable field will need to be edited. I haven't edited FBN files at all in R&V.
• I can already tell there's going to be weird stuff happening when loading saves.

I don't mind going out of my comfort zone, but it's a big departure from what I'm used to make. It's going to take a lot of time for me to make something like this and I don't have a lot of time compared to last year because of IRL stuff.

I'm also not doing commissions. I don't need the money and I'd rather keep my free time to do the stuff I really want to do (I'm currently busy on another mod I really want to finish).

I'll keep the suggestion in mind for later, but it's a big "maybe". You should ask other people or try it yourself in the meantime

Also, the code for the CF randomized option isn't exactly easy to translate (at least, from my position) (For reference: it's in P5R.CostumeFramework/P5R.CostumeFramework/Hooks/FieldChangeHook.cs on Github)

Wanted to ask you because I wasn’t sure if said mod would need to have direct access to all the outfits, though I guess there’s much bigger problems as you mentioned

As for the outfits being picked each day that was kinda a bad way to word it, it would just pick a random outfit from a predefined list for each of her normal outfits. So for example, if there were 5 outfits that would fit well for her regular uniform, anytime the game tries to load that outfit it’d pick from the list and load that one instead. So it shouldn’t need the scheduler

If this ever does get made would you consider making it a config option in R&V so it’d be easier to update the list of outfits as new ones get made?
As for anyone else reading this, if you’re willing to give this a crack and have the skill I’d be more then happy to c*mission it

Oh yeah, picking the model in a list is going to be much easier than working with the scheduler. If it gets made, I'll definitely look into making it work with the Alternate models mods (since it'll just be about adapting the list)

For the AOA finisher : the person who made the starlight joker finisher just used a 2D planes with the texture on it. For sure, it's not going to look amazing on bigger monitor, but it's waaaaay easier than making it 3D like the other finishers

Ironically, I liked Morgana a lot more in Rose and Violet than in Royal and especially vanilla, and I never thought I would end up saying that.

I mean it helps that this is the Royal version so there are much less instances of him making the protagonist go to bed but even discounting that the various scenes where he helps Sumire or helps the protagonist help Sumire come off as a lot more heartwarming in this since she is your sister here and he picks up in one of the new scenes that you are clearly concerned about something with her. It comes off as him helping Kasumi with her family problems in her personal life.

Plus he is basically a magical girl mascot character to Kasumi/Rose.
