Take arena, for example. I absolutely hated it, and refused to even do my daily in it for months because the gap between beginner and experienced is vast enough to fit the state of Texas in it several times! I didn’t even start ranking until I got a my first red star hero! And be willing to bet that I won’t move beyond my current 5,000 +/- until I red star my gear and a couple more heroes!

Cost/benefit. A level 7 is the cheapest lair you can run, at the high end of that range, and since you only get three of the extra rewards per lair, no matter what level you run(which is stupid, if you ask me), we mostly run 7s so we can get more of the rewards for the least cost.

But you do get much antiserum. Like say I run a 14 for only 5 more stamina than a 7. Don’t I get much more in return?

If I run a 7, I get 10k antiserum, lvl 7 supply box, 735 exp, 35 - 1000 food and 3 mooncakes. A lvl 14 gets me 36 antiserum, lvl 14 supply box, 1750 exp, 88 1000 food , gear promoter and 3 mooncakes

Usually yes, but to maximize your mooncakes (which can be traded for awesome stuff) lvl7 is the way to go (most mooncakes per 120 stamina)

Each to their own, but the highest lair you can do is the best imo

Weigh it up for yourself ofc, but the lvl7 lairs aren't getting you much hero juice or promoters, and you'll be neglecting the cmdr/nova exp, 4-5* hero cards (until the devs completely remove them from the lair boxes which is it what seems like they'll do) and blueprints etc

So it depends if a few extra cupcakes are worth you sacrificing those for a few days of the event duration

Not sure what farming stamina is, but stamina can be stacked prior to stamina events to exceed the 120 cap. The point is to gain as much free stamina as possible prior to start of a stamina event.

Farming stamina is essentially what you just described :D. Set an hour long rally that you know you won’t win. You still gain stam as the hour counts down, then you get all that, plus the stam back from the failed lair. I’ve been known to send one truck 😄

Whatever algorithms used or methods by devs as they begin to unlock more rewards in newer states might not be great, but that's what we have and it's unlikely to ever change. It’s just building and research. No speed ups. I am in a more recent state and came from an older one. I started the day the newer state opened. Never had speed ups as part of ACE. In the older state we did in the beginning. Think it was changed. Unless I’m remembering incorrectly about the new state.

Opening Enhance Choice material will give you points, so will the gear in lair boxes (but myself, I would save lair boxes for other events like nova gem day or break loose nova gem phase). Arena boxes have no enhance material so those wont help you either.

using glory/refine does not, just obtaining and to answer your earlier question yes but you will need to wait till the correct day to use your promotion and enhance material. can also save all lair boxes and open on that day as well because obtaining the materials for gear/chip/mod/cubes gives points

(Speedups usually don’t count for any Ace rewards except for during a short period early in a state’s existance. Standard Global Ace does not have speedups for any phase).
For both Training days, promoting only gives the point difference between tiers (ie t8 promoted to t9 will only give 15 points per troop promoted).

Farming Stamina

99%* of the time spending stamina on the highest possible lair is the best use of stamina vs rewards.

If youre maxed at 120 stamina and don’t want to waste it on a lower lair or zombie you can farm it by hosting a 1hr lair.

During the 1hr you replenish stamina.
Canceling or failing the lair at the end of the 1hr return the stamina cost so you now have 120+ stamina

It’s recommended to host the highest available lair w/ 1 troop. So it does you don’t lose anything.
To farm stamina requires a march
To farm stamina beyond 3hr requires 2 players & 2 marches.
You can do this with up to 5 marches w/ 5 players, but not sure why youd need to

If you’re talking fast come back, the 300% boost, that applies ONLY for troops lost in or against a turret, and maybe the hub, during Wasteland King ONLY. And it should have been applied by the governor within the 24 hours after hubs were secured, or automatically if you lost the hub. I don’t know if it can be applied after that.

Not quite. There is a few phases to Ace as a state ages (State only, new states only, …) which are reflected in the changing Obsidian/Epic Reward cards. So Global is global within those brackets. That is why when immigrating during Ace, you can lose ranks if you change brackets.

The best time to craft nano actually is Break Loose nano quest, why? If you look at the nano event as a singularity their phase rewards are not that great as opposed to Break Loose nano quest were the phase rewards are better and also get Leah who is by far the hardest one to get. NanoWeapons event even in the ranking system you get a hero you can use perfect frags on, unlike Leah

Has anyone ever had an issue with Ace Commander rewards. I checked my placing just before the event ended and I was at 0.23% for the phase rank and 0.46% for the event rank. I've been keeping any eye on my ranking for 24 hours and training to bump it below 0.5% so I'm shocked that in the span of 15 minutes, I was bumped to 1%

I bought it today. I think it’s the 3rd time I’ve bought it since it appeared. But y’know, the math makes it ~impossible~

Two approaches: (1) auto speed-up and (2) diamonds.

If you have enough build speedups and regular speedups, you can leisurely blast through (say) a 10-day HQ upgrade in about 10 seconds with auto-speedup, 1 to 9 diamonds, and the free speedup. It takes about five screen taps. The diamonds give you 30 seconds each.

For a simple example, suppose you have just an 8 hour speed-up and a 3 hour speed-up, a building with 11 hours 34 minutes remaining, and 30 minutes free building speedup. Tap the speedup button (1), auto-speedup (2), confirmation (3) to reduce the time to 34 minutes. Then 8 diamonds gives you 4 minutes (tap 4), and free (tap 5) completes the build.

Of course all of this requires (1) a lot of speed-ups, (2) a modest supply of diamonds, and (3) lots of resources.

Most of the people doing this are buying speed-ups, and maybe also diamonds and resources. This is akin to playing Monopoly (tm) and buying counterfeit Monopoly money from Parker Brothers instead of earning it directly from the game.

Yes, it requires a lot of rss and speed ups. Not so much diamonds.
One 7 day speed up saves a lot of clicking. 24 hour speed ups save a lot of clicking.
Anahita and Scarlett both give free build speed ups, and that number increases the more enhanced they are. Currently I have about an hour of free build speed up from the two of them.
I have better things to spend my diamonds on, so I will wait the two or so minutes till it goes free.

For you, then, a modust supply of diamonds is zero - very modest indeed.

The alternatives here are either (a) more time than the casual ten seconds - and taking good advantage of running builds, research and training in parallel - with somewhat heavier demand on bagged resources; or (b) carrying an extra large reserve of 5m speedups.

With auto-speedup, the longer term speedups really do not save on taps.

It isnt per hour. You get the same number of points based on the standard converstion of food/wood vs gas vs steel. But your personal collection rates will vary. So you are best to collect the rss you have the fastest boosts for if you are trying to maximize Ace points.

Anyone do an building upgrade in this last Ace and not notice a drop in the % rank? I sped built my HQ34, but I don’t think that it counted towards my Ace points. I tried to explain it to customer service, but they asked me for a picture before and after my upgrade. Why would I have taken a picture of my Ace rank and points before my HQ upgrade? Why would@I assume the game wouldn’t work? It is a little frustrating trying to prove something that you would have never expected to happen. Do I need to take a screen shot before every upgrade from now on?

Short answer: yes.
Longer answer: with all the glitches being constantly reported, a new one is bound to pop up.
When the tile glitch showing an unoccupied tile when it wasn’t was first reported, no one was screenshotting, why would they? Now, if players know that the glitch is there the ss it so they can try and prove it to CS.
Or the issue with bubbles popping early.
The only time I’ve ever heard of a ss report actually doing anything in game is with the scammers, though.

As much as the points for Ace are updated in real time (not like the old hourly updates), there is definitely still a delay in seeing your rankings update. Sometimes it is a few seconds, but I’ve seen it be a few minutes before. It doesn’t mean you haven’t moved, just that it hasnt reported it bafk to you yet.
Often going in and out of your sanctuary will refresh it, but the rank you see should alway be taken with room for wiggle.

Our alliance is having a debate on what the best mill to setup for ace is.
I think it's steel, a couple others are debating that food will give you the biggest jump for gathering.

It depends on everyone’s personal gathering rates. We had this discussion and many of our R4s pulled up their commander boosts, and steel gathering rates were fastest among our group (except me, so I reset all my nova gathering to optimize steel to match).
That would be my suggestion.

Ace Commander hero frags rewards which is the reason why players try hard in this event are worthless for shooters and fighters compared to Riders. And this thing is driving a lot of people away from this main event. At least is should be giving the choice to choose between heroes for all troop types, why just riders? Why the game is not giving every troop type the same as it giving Riders?
Other rewards than frags doesn't worth the hard work to even try to rank there.

Ace Commander rewards do change as your state ages. After a certain time, you get the choice between Obsidian and Atropos frags. And then after a little longer, you then get the choice between Obisidan, Atropos and Nam Hayal, providing you with more than just rider options.
Even as a non rider though, Obsidian has a lot of value in other aspects of the game.

But still... Not comparable. Why not removing obsidian from there, or add a shooter and a fighter hero. It's favoring riders, not only in this event.
That's why almost 50% or even more of players go for riders. That what you can actually see.

I’m shooter based and have no regrets. You cannot get a rider hero in the single day events that run opposite weeks to Ace (zephyr, phoenix, lady m), so it might not be equal, but there are various ways for players to find their own balance.

Combine her troop stats with Phoenix and Ephraim for an excellent start to a strong Shooter march.
I do agree that Ace is stale and boring after a year of doing it every other week!
Even if they just switched up Ace heroes with off ace week heroes that would add a bit of excitement since a lot of us can’t afford to make a years worth if rent just to rank in the off week hero frag event!

1. Resource Gatherer
   For gathering, make sure all your queues are out gathering except for 1 to run lairs. If you have swift gatherer talent, USE IT! If not, use the 50% gathering speed boost found in alliance shop. don't forget to recall from pit and steal someone else's pit as often as you can because the raided rare earth counts as gathered material- Go for someone with less then 3 hours left to gain the most material. I also time my gathering so that I'll have all troops returning within 30 minutes after reset. This ensures that you start off strong with a bunch of points in the beginning.
2. Build and Research
   This one is easy if you plan well. Just like in gathering, plan so that your builds and research will complete right after reset so you start with easy points. Save your speedups throughout the week. I use speeds the day before and time it so that they will complete right after reset. Then, use speedups! Use talents! Use boosts! Build and research things that you know you will finish before next reset so you know you'll get points. Rss builds and certain military research are easy because they are shorter times and cost less. HQ and wall builds give great points but only do it if you have speeds/diamonds to finish in time.
3. Zombie Hunter
   Zombie hunter is just about consuming stamina and AP. Make sure to have stamina and AP at maximum before reset. Depending on your VIP level depends on how many 120 AP items you can use. Before reset you will want to open as many of these AP points as you can and then do the same after reset but make sure you have enough blitz tokens to make this possible. bolts for this event. The lair level does not matter- it’s about consuming the points.
   If you have VIP 10 it is a good idea to setup a balance only talent setup for this event and the next one to gain as much help for these events as you can.

4. Soldier Trainer
   Training units is also easy if you plan well. Just like the others, time your training so all 4 camps finish just after reset. If a camp finishes prior to reset DO NOT collect the troops until after reset and you will still get the points. Change your talent set to balance. If you need more speedups they are available in the Alliance Shop and Ruins shop.
5. Improve Gear/Chip/Module
   Gear/chip/module is all about gaining material and improving might in these areas. Simply put, save your lair boxes, choice boxes, etc. Open them during this day so you get all the material at once for max points. Wait for this day to enhance these areas. Beat Ultimate Challenge as much as possible, so if you just beat a hard one and suspect that you're strong enough to beat several more, wait until this challenge and go hard. Also, if you don't mind spending, the shops have cheap material.

6 and 7 are bulk up everything

I have a full alliance (100 players). I can gather in a steel mill for 56 hours before Ace without depleting the mill or having my troops return early.
I don’t always do that (this week was much less), but everyone has choices to make and priorities to develop.
But the gathering phase (and AP/Stam phase) have such low maximum points you can get, it is worth investing time and efforts into the other phases (might increase and training specifically) than worrying much about gathering points.

We are the sixth ranked alliance globally. No mill will last more than two days give or take. Re priorities - I get it. I think gather day would be great in a small alliance where one could gather from the mill for a week or more.

Basically, when your stamina is full, you just run a 1 hour rally that you will lose. So during that time you are able to still gain stamina to replenish, and when your rally fails, you get that amount back and can get over your 120 stam limit.
But the return is pointless. Better to gather resources, raid bases, or simply not do it.

Like Blue said, alliance resource spot, on top of the new alliance tech gathering, state gathering boost, personal gathering boost, and the subscription. All those boosts stack as far as I know! Plus saving swift gatherer until just after reset.

You have to check if there is an attempt left, usually Fast Comeback is used after WK and Training Boost used for Ace and since WK happens on Ace week they usually overlap on weekend.

Ace commander is more like top 3000 players rather than 1%. They clamp the total at 300k players . The total should be updated to reflect true Active strength as more and more states get online.

No strategy. I didn’t intend to finish that high. It was just that a research Break Loose matched up and so I did a lot of research and then it put me high up so I kept doing research and training. It took a ton of speed ups. It’s really the last 3 days that matter the most, and even Saturday and Sunday matter more than Friday. Just constant training and in my case, research. The military 2 research to go from level 8 to 9 gives you over 1m might for each one. So I guess save your speed ups.

Ok guys I need some help. Im currently a level 33 hq. I typically save all rss and boxes to be used for events. Ace commander is one of my favorite events but now that I’m a higher level it is almost impossible for me to score well. Upgrading research and buildings cost so much in rss and doesn’t give the point boost you’d think it would. Currently it’s day two and there are people with 20 million pts and I’m sitting at 4.5 million. What are they doing that is allowing them to score so high? Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Saving. It’s all about saving. Speedups. Using extra speeds for gathering. Military 2 gives big night increase for upgrade days. Helps a lot. I don’t have 20m points. I have 9m. But the big days are training and enhancing.
