Definitely. Traditionally the faction rewards are typically still decent when you finish in a top two alliance. Rewards for third and lower factions were basically nothing. This merge system will be interesting to see how players strategize when and how to merge.

The building blueprints are best for ore if you don't need them for building. If you run a lot of lairs you should have quite a few. 500k gave me max ore
