Makes sense. I also needed to get back over 5 full marches of t12s. I had dipped below. I haven't had my t12s long enough to upgrade all my t11s. It is more for those 2 reasons than I was worried about ace. Normally on build days I only build new units. Didn't seem to be the most effective use this time though
