If you're a newer player, one of your first goals for training troops should be trying to get 5 full marches of your main troop type - it will help a lot with events

I recommend having 5 full marches of each troop type (highest level), then 10 of main march. The ten allows you to take losses during vc and Nuka without healing right away.

Early game focus on the passive boost 4* to start as well as a main troop type to supplement where you don’t have 5* then replace them when you get more 5*

Also, for power rush, level all of them to 10. Higher star ratings give more points, you can keep resetting to optimize it
And when starting, whenever you don't need another hero to be strong, have Chester, anahita, kento, and xavis at 31 to make upgrades/building cheaper. It's huge for going fast from the start imo

It's up to you what kind of troops your heroes will use so I prefer to diversify and upgrade all heroes at the same time or divide it among them so they are at the same level.

You're automatically "signed up" if you are in a top 5 alliance when matchmaking starts. If you do want to emigrate, make sure to be out of a top 5 alliance before and during matchmaking, then you're fine. But you cannot do Doom, of course.

You don't need to select 1 of each colour - so the game is telling you that you can "make a better team" by selecting the whole top row.
Depending on what you are trying to beat, different hero combos may be preferable and may not always be one of every colour, or the top 5 heroes.

Troop stats often come lower than a specific attack stat at the same cost (Bios especially come to mind). Raising a troop core effectively buffs all 3 types without needing that hero to be in a march as well (great for offense and defence).

I would say this. While troop stats cover all and are certainly better for rallies, in my experience focus stats seem to weigh heavier on other scenarios like soloing a lair or hitting an hq solo.

also the tactical boost applies to the hero so should be on a hero in the march

Made for the spenders and not ftp. Made spenders have to step up and spend more to be competitive. Then folks said eff it and quit in the middle of event

around 90% of my state could not contribute by lvl 6 buildings
it is a fun event if you are actualy big enough to contribute the whole time

it is always a scramble to get your points in before the building is taken over, until we reached lvl 5, where most players just can't help. Spenders only had to step in on lvl 6, becuase by then most people are unable to scratch the center with their main march

ours was.. the biggest state went for it, foudn out most of their hq40s are too weak to scratch it; their bigs ended up spending thousands of $$ each to get it

the biggest alliance had 5
then a 3rd alliance had 1 player
and that was the total number of players that can dent it
the entire field is too weak for the difficulty presented

We we had 2 diff states with players over 1.5B true might and our highest was barely 900M
