When I was preparing to go for the ace 0.5% achievement, I did some nerd math looking at the training time per 1000 troops vs the ace points per 1000 troops for various tiers and upgrades that I had available, and what actually worked out as the most points per speedup hour was promoting T10 to T11, followed by training brand new T7s. Go figure. So I finished promoting the last of the T10s I still had on my account and then made a ton of T7s that I am lazily working my way through promoting for my dailies.

Some great things have been implemented like: weekly alliance shop when many were complaining about the disparity between how many coins were being spent vs how many the alliance earned. Small things like the comma in numerical values for ease of reading.
Some things they have outright said will never be implemented like the trading of nano weapons.
They do partially listen about arena and adjust brackets when things get too tough, but so far they have refused to give us an arena for those who have just begun their arena journey.
We all need to remember that it takes time to go from acceptance of an idea, through many, many trials, to implementation.
Yes, a channel to keep us updated and in the know would be nice but the mods here, while awesome, are human and have a life off discord and the game, so unless someone is volunteering to tear the info from the devs grasp, just be happy we got the #❗status-update channel.

Many, many have complained about the spend, spend, spend aspect. Yes, it is frustrating, but, unless we can get the whales, all of them, to stop spending and do our complaining for us, it won't change much.
It is nice though to have a game I can play without having an ad every move or two: that's what their spending does for the rest of us--gives us ad free play (minus the annoying log in pop up).

It is most certainly a business but if they aren't careful and slow things down a bit, it's going to kill the player base due to not being able to keep up with the top 1% spenders. 100 players spending $5 a day is more than 1 player spending $50 a day.
