The ranking does not matter. You will either receive City-State (need to be holding Level 8 at end and have greater than 10k points), Community (need to hold a level 7, and greater than 4k points), or Camp rewards. Each section has 3 different brackets of rewards based on how many points you get

As I understand the rewards system, there is the winner who occupies the middle with three variations of rewards based on points from occupied territories.
Next would be the factions that hold a level 7, with 3 variations.
Followed by the rest also with 3 variations.

We are currently holding 500 points and are the last type of faction. 500 points gets us some nifty coins, the next level up would give us more. But that is 4 times what we have

no, it can still be taken, but moving the faction base to that territory after it has been cut off means you are still able to defend it (by garrisoning the wall) , whereas if you leave the safe zone as your faction base and a territory is cut off it is ordinarily indefensible

I believe that a lot of the fun to this event is the puzzle, the strategy, the decision over whether an attack is worth it, that balance of risk vs reward. My feeling is that 10% will not be something that people ask that question and we effectively turn it into another water wars.

Now if you say that your faction lost more than half its troops in trying to take down the wall guards of city hall then I would probably agree, those are ridiculously tough I saw a few people zero themselves taking down the inner pass.

I did read it towards the beginning of the event and knew it was coming, but I could not remember where, so it would have been good if it was in the radiation page too.

I tried to advise my team to use the support tech to reduce its effect early so you could stockpile the radiation treatment

i had 2.9mil casualties from sending 4 marches at the inner pass wall, and i’m almost a billion base might at hq39, soloing 54 lairs outside doomsday with shooters, so i’m not exactly made of paper.
shortening the length of the event but keeping the permanent death rate consistent would have been grossly unfair to the players as there are 2 whole weeks less to regenerate first aid kits than there were last time, especially when those or diamonds are the only options for healing

events like Wasteland Conquest which also have the risk of permanent troop death at least give the option of using regular speedups to heal

I understand your position and I am of similar size (slightly smaller) and with similar pain hitting these bigger wall guards. Here would be my suggestion for next time. Any troop deaths caused by death against NPC wall troops are stunned, 50% for 24 hours and then the rest return to active duty after 48 hours.

You would get more participation from smaller HQs on those wall guards.

I think in general, this event this time around has got a lot of changes that didn’t make sense and isn’t great for everyone. Eg, faction = 1state. But you have 8 positions for 5 alliances. Gonna have problems distributing evenly. But also, what about the smaller states? You have made them so vulnerable. Some of them can barely even take their own safe zones.

It’s a lot shorter, but then there’s something on everyday, not to mention the concurrently running other events. You are mentally exhausting the players for minimal rewards.

My poor team is very supportive, but we all have lives. I don’t want them tired over a game. They are awesome people

Is there a possibility to let us heals troops also with speed ups? Time of event reduced some new buildings introduced in the event all happened in the half time since the previous one but the quantity of first aids and their speed stays the same. Good that make it 10% of losses is half that what is use to but why not give also the possibility with speed ups.. diamonds cost a lot.. many were burned many were damage in walls etc.. that option I believe will be more friendly to players and cost less

One thing I heard from several players who were attacking a foothold and did not get any boxes, was that you should only be able to collect based on levels of damage. I am not sure how those rewards worked as I did not get any and was not sure what to collect. However it seems that people would not attack and just snipe the boxes.

The appear in the area between the shielded rss and the building after a 3 sec countdown. It really came to first come first server and often the bigger players who should take it from the early foothold would get shafted by a farm that can't damage past a lv. 4 foothold.

Final thoughts. I had a relatively great time in one states doomsday, but we weren’t the biggest state, so even though it was peaceful and we all worked together, the rewards were hot garbage. It felt like an enormous waste of time that was detrimental to other things the state and alliance was trying to do. 4/10.

The other state was bullied and dominated and almost everyone in state ended up with multiple millions of real troop losses at the end even after they reduced the hospital actual casualties. We ended up with virtually no rewards to show for it. No bronze coins since we couldn’t leave our safe zone. Absolutely nothing at all. 0/10.

Final opinion: 2/10. horrible event. Should be removed from the game.

Insult to injury: reps are actually being mean to some of the people that are complaining about valid problems with the event now. Like glitches where people’s shields fell and they got zeroed.

It’s still not clear to me how opponents are matched. Both in terms of the number of players and the strength of the alliance. It feels like some are lucky, while others are not. We were lucky that the strongest alliance turned out to be very kind, made concessions, and allowed us to reach 11k points. And it was great that the rules for everyone were agreed upon right on the first day, that really made teamwork easier.
I hope that next time the matchmaking will be fairer.

My Survey should allow me to select an answer I want not have leading selections that give them the answers they want. There is no other button for me to explain why I don’t like something or would like to see it changed also another question asks about match making and doesn’t give the option of leave it alone wants to know more or less which means they want to tweak it and will skew the data to say we asked for that. Why write a bad faith survey when instead they could just do whatever they want as that is the likely outcome they just can’t gas light me later that this is what I wanted

Doomsday is a great idea, a few tweaks and it will be fun for most.

Doomsday v2.0 was great! Improve match making and it will be even better!

Idle wrenches, uranium, and coins were good. The factions we were paired with were civil and everyone in general was rewarded for the efforts they put in (except that lv.8 wall, farewell troops to permaloss). Military tech tree was nice and helped with later stages.

Improvements- add additional healing max capacity or additional ways to heal. The first few days there were no conflicts due to the mountains, it was easy to build up to max potions. Later days were spent to max with wasted potions from earlier days that went unused and unclaimed.

Difficulty scaling- some walls were definitely ment for stronger players. From lv. 6 wall my troops already could be wiped if they attacked a rider wave. Lv.8 our big had to 5 march the wall for 10 minutes to break through. Stronger alliances broke through the same wall in under 2 minutes.

More R4 or R3 options. A big complaint was the end of the event rank rewards. Officers and R4 were fine, the limit of R4's made it so many could not get the skin (again). The limit of r3's also ment some active members did not get satisfactory rewards. Increase r4 and r3 slots in general if this is ment for 500 players to participate.

Lv1 and 2 foothold walls were untouchable to the average t10, that was a bit too tough to start. A lot stopped joining in after the first battle.
