As previously stated in the past tournament you were able to pretty much rejoin right as the fight started. Some people even reported being able to jump mid game. You just have to make sure that you were in the alliance you wanted to be in when sign ups closed.

Always be worried! This isn’t logical sadly. For those of you running this as a state event take this opportunity to get to know the rest of your state! This is one of the best things about this event is the cross-alliance relationships that get built.

Don’t be in a hurry to head home. Also, 528 generally has people come back before Tuesday reset for each match just to play it safe. Similar to regular res war. We want everyone in place. If you have flag event that week just hang together for the week. Your home alliances learn how to work together without your strongest folks and it’s actually a beautiful thing watching them all come together as well.

You know, I'm thinking that individuals CAN move freely during grouping...I suspect that 547's issue was that so many people moved before the alliance was determined eligible, that they fell below the necessary thresholds (either # of HQs or alliance might).

Only way to know, really, is to ask someone that an alliance left in the first two hours of grouping stage, but whose alliance still qualified as signed up.

In their OG alliance, when they clicked the button, it took them to their OG res tournament event as if they could participate. They headed back to ours and no longer had the button. We figured that because they were in their OG alliance for grouping, that might have affected their ability to play with us.

They rejoined us today and no Res tournament button, so we figured he was ineligible to play with us. He decided to wait and see. Well, button is now there hours later.

TLDR: Wait around a few hours and see if you can play if it shows you can't? lol
