Ok so! I have nitrado. I don’t have a drop down option to set the 7th birthday thing. Here’s what I did….
Checked “current official event” in general setting drop down. Moved to ini settings

I don't know what to think about the announcement thst players should uninstall the Fjordur mod version prior to DLC download.
I wanted to keep the mod map, Nekatus promised that it will still be continued. But now I'm very concerned if WC will mess it up.

Well the code is from beacon as that is how I made it haha

basically the offset helps the creature you add, act as if it was a natural spawn. Ie said of seeing maybe 1 or 2, this will spread them across the spawn areas

General adding a creature just tells it to spawn but does not allow it to naturally spawn

My answer! Simple spawners with the "id spawners "23456"" and rename it so its easy to find. I find this works exceptionally well, i use this to get past the overspawn that "Ark additions" creates, its tedious and if not done well it creates long loading but it works wonderful and i have 100 nodes across a map i do. it lets the dinos spawn in pods. If i place 5 idspawners on the ground and tell it to spawn 25 creatures then 5 pods of 5 is what i get and its not game breaking and i can do this for every region i create.

and if they are non agressive to each other you can get a mix of dinos in each spawner too!

Unfortunately, Madsun is not on Steam, so they are unable to use mods. You are correct though that SS saves a lot of time when setting up spawns.

Solution is to get rid of the bloat. First thing- If there's multiple overhauls, can all but 1. They don't stack well anyway so there's really no benefit to more than one anyway

Overhauls are things like primal fear, omega, ark eternal

And decors are decorations, pretty much anything adding new visual assets

everyone on the server can easily join but me i cant everytime i join i get a message that is saying "failed installing mod map" i tried every method like

• Delete mods and download again
• Virus scan

• and now also reset the pc

Hey thanks, so we were running custom rates on our server, then we decided to check out the birthday bash and ran the -activeevent=ark7th code in the command line. Once we did that, it changed our custom rates to match that of the event so we decided to turn the event off, but the event taming rates have stuck around. I have no clue what to do. I've even went so far as to rebuild my game.ini file

You want to make regular backups of the whole Saved folder in future

When I am at home I have no trouble connecting to the server by showing only servers on my LAN. Fjordur probably has the most out of all tho, so you might just want to wait a couple days til it comes out

If it’s only you that is because of the settings you have on the Home Screen, try making sure you have the proper settings selected. “All maps” “all modes” and whatever the type of map is, I assume “unofficial pc servers”

Just to be clear, as I wrote the first time, my issue is to trasfert between arks by obe in game (I cant see other maps from cluster). I can see all the maps from the cluster on my Ark home screen tho. Thats why seems strange to me

Yes and it may be the issue with the settings you have on your Home Screen. For example if one of the maps is pvp and you only have PVE selected it’s only gonna show PVE maps in your transfer screen unless you change the settings in your Home Screen.

Same goes with map types (I.e island only when you’re looking for gen 2 etc)

This is an unoffical pve cluster so it should show me all the maps from that cluster by obe/trasmitter (atleast it was like that since weeks ago). The only option I can change is password checkbox, wich is not the case cause all the maps (server if you want) from the cluster are without password. @olive talon Yes nitrado is having a 504 gateway error because people are trying to load into it all at once so it broke nitrado. I don't think as many people use GPortal so it hasn't crashed yet. @pearl breach like I said we're probably going to have to wait until the key oard warriors go first because God forbid. And @tardy wyvern if you're using nitrado it will be in your game.ini settings

I have used Nitrado mostly but also used GPortal (for atlas) and GTX Gaming for an Empyrion server that had a big overhaul mod on it. GTX Gaming was by far the best but also the most expensive. GPortal I found to be ok too, but I just find Nitrado easier to navigate through the settings and files.

you can run dedicated ARK servers on your own PC, yes. But remember, it eats a lot of RAM, so don't try to play ARK and have the server running at the same time when you don't have at least 32GB RAM
