cryo sickness is the debuff you get when you throw one out. if you throw out 2 dinos within 5 minutes the second will have cryosickness

not sure with the supply crate thing, would just leave it default.

anyone else having issues with trees spawning inside built structures and they are unable to be removed?

at 66/61 on gen 2, I have a large base and its been here for a while, for some reason at random, all the trees and shrubs have respawned through my foundations and I cannot remove them, I harvest them one time, it gives me the wood/thatch but they are still there. I can hit them, and it makes the sound as if im harvesting wood and thatch from a tree. but they are stuck there.

I havent messed with respawning radius settings/code for natural resources near a base, so im not sure what would cause this.

If you are hosting it yourself probably the best way is to make copies of the files. I don't know if asm has a way to make backups or not. Just make sure you get all the character files and tribe files along with the map file

I can't post a screen shot here, but it it is a setting I checked in GPortal, that says bUseSinglePlayerSettings. It only says relates to faster taming, breeding, XP, etc. Just making sure this also does not affect admin permissions for all players. I am assuming it does not

To get all the sets in the drop make sure the min & max are the same and have prevent duplication ticked. For the items in the set it is the same process, have prevent duplication on and make sure the min and max entries is equal to the amount of items in the drop

Sort of. Without mods, you can either activate an event colour, or rewrite every spawn in the game and hope your chosen colour set for that spawner works

Even with mods, I don't think any can let you create a colourset, just increase what you can choose from; or, just.. randomise everything

Is there a complete list of Fjordur spawn entries? Or at least the ones that work? Im trying to have Mana's and Bloodstalkers spawn but I'm pretty sure I have their spawn entries wrong.

Okay so I'm running a dedicated server on the Win10 version of the game. I've been trying to do a couple things but none of them are working. If anyone needs the code I'm using just ask.

1. I'm trying to increase the tame limit for the tribe, from 250 to 3000.
2. I'm trying to change the stack sizes of a few items.
3. I'm trying to add custom spawns for creatures not on Fjordur.
4. Disable cryo sickness

It's just non dedicated servers specifically. Not anything to do with mods. Dedicated servers and unofficials (without mods) can still crossplay steam and epic. This just happens to be yet another bug with nondedicated servers.

Hey I have a few questions. I am running a dedicated server on windows 10 and it's going pretty well except for 1 thing. The tame limit. We have 6 people in one tribe but separate bases because we are all friends and do things together, however the tame limit is stuck at 250. And to make things worse there are like 50 take slots being taken up by who knows what.

Is there any way to increase the tame limit? Messing with the .ini files are not working at all.

Your stuff from singleplayer can only be transferred between singleplayer saves and unofficial servers that are open, which are few. This is because you could hypothetically spawn in it all.

Playing on xbox, have tried running non dedicated and dedicated on xbox.. but when we go to join ark can't find the session in the list.
Had a friend set up the Microsoft version on his server, but it seems to be the same issue. It's not showing up in the session list.

I tried in the cave then i tried after i grabbed it and brought it back to my base. the option to feed it from my toolbelt won't show up and the force tame won't work on it. i tested it on anoutheer dino and it worked fine so its definatly a bug or glitch with the Dungbeetle.

Its ok I keep finding other bugs on the map. I'm just going to go back and play on the older maps until they can patch the new map and fix the problems

because a lot of cave creatures cant be tamed. not a bug.

overlevelled spawners are usually set to make the creatures untameable so you can't get level 600 arthros and shit.

Clusterdiroverride is not for server save data, it's for the data the servers in tue cluster need so you can transfer between them, altsaveditectoryname is for separating save info

My idea was to maybe ad more metal ores without the need of advanced scripting to inject them into the map and ruin balance, since the player decides if he wants or not to face more ore variety at cost of less regular metal from the game.

When I select 'New Drop' to make a loot drop, it only gives me options the difeent loot drops and crates on "The Island".

Can s+ Propagator only breed once per dino? I used Griffins and checkmarked all to female except one, which i picked male for, then checked "Can Breed". Sooo, I was running a dedicated ark server without issue for a few months. After the last update no one could connect to the server anymore. The server only showed under Steam > Servers. Never under the Ark server list. Any attempts to join resulted in "unable to query server info for invite". I have verified the server version is 348.7, client version is 348.3. VM OS is Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS. Firewall completely disabled on the VM and port forwarding is setup on my PFSense for ports 7777, 7778, 27015, 27020. Logs below. I have rebuilt the Ubuntu VM, reinstalled SteamCMD, the Ark server, and my client just to verify it was not a corrupted install. Still getting the same issue. Not sure where else to look.

A few friends and I play on a private server and we save items and blueprints in storage boxes and bookshelfs. We are trying to reduce down items to just a handful that are most efficient. I have installed a dedicated server on my windows machine. I have DISABLED the firewall, and port forwarded 7777, 7778 UDP and 27015 UDP and TCP, however my friends are unable to connect to it. Is there any way to troubleshoot this? I am prepared to packet sniff but I do not know exactly what to look for

I stopped hosting for about half a year and everything broke, this used to work and I did not change anything but it dose not work anymore

If using DHCP I would double check ips to make sure port fowards are still going to right computer

btw, for some reason when I try to join my server via single player then typing in console "open 192.168.0.63" I get hit with "authentication token" error

all so have it favourite you have to wait for the ark server to tell you how many cores your server has
