@fair yarrow if ur just starting pvp, I would suggest starting out on servers that allow grace, so u can get used to pvping other players, then after getting comfortable u can switch learning best base defenses and how to raid

A server I would recommend is probably Shameless Ark, I can invite you in dms if u want, but its a more boosted and easy craft server that will be less of a grind, and if u get raided you can get right back on ur feet

I know Steam is a bit better than Windows 10 in terms of people cheating and the like, but at least on windows 10, nobody cares about being ban. They just make a free alt and get 100+ by clicking a button on their cheats (it force gives them all expleror notes).

To be fair to WC, it is a xbox/microsoft issue that you can make alt accounts for free. However, Win 10 anti-cheat is basically non-existent compared to Steam, so that is why cheats are more common.

They both have their upsides and downsides. I'd say Wyvern as they're more flexible with the different breaths and they can skybox whereas a mana can only jump so high. That being said Manas can wear saddles and their crowd control is probably #1 , Owl Freezes are good but they heal the other and you have to be very close

Several instead of they risk to see their account banned are in mesh spot what included undermap spot. Most of Time, the best spot are the underwater deep ocean... they have a lot of beautiful spot that permit you to survive but unfortunately, you must have tek structures to build there or Tamed a giant turtle that permit you to breathe underwater but they are hard to tame... Others try to exploite glitches with micro raptor n giga.... OMG this game IS so beautiful but his community... 😂📉

It's the hard law of pvp. Be mobile, don't craft anything anymore but play little and efficiently. Go from server to server you will see that you are not alone. Yes it's amazing to see that after 1 hour or 2 of play, on a server of 0 player you suddenly have 1 player who arrives then 3 or 4... when I realized that I was farming for all these people suddenly I stopped wasting my time building but I have the obligation to connect every day just 10 minutes when I have little time. it's better to play like this.

And precisely ark2 cannot exist without a community if Ark gets such a bad reputation as an unplayable game

Also, it would be necessary to reduce the spam of structures like the pillar foundations which pollute both the pve servers but also pvp. Why not introduce a money system also like in gta and many other games (do not favor rich players too much either by offering less money for a slightly higher price) that have reached a certain level of society and which would also allow developers to earn money by offering to sell products or even special skins? Wildcard if yall readin this, you should buff the tek claws. In their current state they suck compared to any of the other tek items you cant even kill anything with them. They are just a trophy piece rather than an actual useful item. They get more shelf life than actual use.

Please REMOVE all forms of dismount from the game. Also rework wyverns so their secondary attack actually comes out of their mouth instead of their chest (where the rider sits) wyverns aren’t iron man so let’s make it a bit better yeah? If we can’t fix dismount let’s not reward the absolute brain dead in the game who main tek suits with nets

A few ideas for dismount rework:

Shadow and void: Slow/stun effect (plant x maybe decrease Stam)

Nets: instead of dismounting you, you stay mounted and have to struggle out (like a blood stalker when you get pulled)

Nets: don’t effect medium/large creatures (small dinos and players ok) it’s essentially pointless using tames that aren’t large or manmoth buffed, which is very unlikely for troll pvp

Tek gauntlet: just force land the tame don’t dismount

Fix pvp and actually make it fun because both war and troll pvp consists of who wants to use dismount and suits. Over capped servers aren’t fun either
