I'm already playing with really low settings as long as it doesn't make my game minecraft-like just to be 'competitive'. The problem is that there are hardcore ini users, they remove all kind of foliage, they remove everything in the water, even the particle, they remove trees, because WC allow you to do this aswell. And now they give a permanent tracker with the only condition being : Get in range with the player that you wanna kill. And now, if by your luck, some of their friends are close, what is a 1v1 transform into a 4v1 in 10 sec, it happens every single time, it almost never happened in AS:E, for someone to actually find his teammate while fighting someone else, unless you are fighting right in front of their base, but now world pvp is ruined. Now, and you know it, if your tribe has fewers members, you might not want to call your teammates every single time to make it a total war, now it's either you hit hard, and try to kill within the first 15 sec, or you are doomed to fight a 5 guys who think they'll get a full kit with some bps for killing you.

Hacker situation is bad and will get worse since support now takes like 3 days thats useless after 3 days ur base is gone you need response within 20 mins... If current gms cant handle it just make them supervise larger team of people who could deal with it if there is fast response to even just 10-20% of reports cheaters will die out since people wont be forced to buy cheats in order to defend their base from cheaters since its rly only thing you can do... Nothing matters - until WC reforms the way they enforce and seriously nothing will. There’s a reason on 1x all megatribes (and I mean all of them) had to have cheaters on speed dial on ASE and frankly they had them pre planned for ASA too. This is a known fact and it has been shown and denounced by many of the most prominent ark content creators over the years, and I say this to point out that if their contribution didn’t make a difference your ticket won’t either.

Tickets are a legitimate waste of time on this game.
Unless the aimbotter happens to use non inclusive language towards you…then video that and send it in and they’ll find them and quickly.
That’s clearly where they worry the money is

When at the release of ASA they didn’t have it for like 2 weeks there was quite the uproar in the PvE community because of the damages the lack of ORP caused

This is the PVP section. When people mention they want ORP, they are clearly referring to pvp servers with ORP enabled, which there was more than 1 cluster of in ASE

Kusipaa didn’t know PvE servers had ORP enabled and was questioning it, so I let him know it was a standard official setting for them.

It’s not weird actually, because WC doesn’t care and never has. ORP has been very popular and is very needed, but it was clearly some dev’s pet project and nobody else in the company ever cared.
There were many improvements and fixes that could’ve been fairly easily applied to it that never made it purely because of lacking interest from WC.

A simple overhaul like having turrets shoot during ORP with infite ammo (something a lot of unofficials did on ASE, so it’s not that difficult) instead of just using the same ORP system that was, again, invented for PvE would solve a good 90% of ORP abusing.

Hopefully that will change.

Some caves did have some “glitch spots” we called them after that had no orp while the rest had orp. Most abused stuff ever, turrets wouldn’t shoot and you could just walk up to them and empty them…everyone had to have someone checking for them that they weren’t building in one of those spots

Naa turrets shooting with infinite ammo in orp is waay too exploitable. Players would use second account to place turrets towers and only log in on that account to refresh them /fill with gas. Or they'd put turrets outside your base and log off. It's fine that they don't shoot. Orp stuff is supposed to be invincible for like 20 seconds when you log back in to shoot the explosives without hurting the base.
I'd rather just have orp, no pincodes ,no orp in caves, no building right outside of artifact cave entrances.

Fair, if we assume still no support as usual you are right and it could be exploited aswell. I still think it wouldn’t be as bad, as with spam you can prevent that from being a real problem to begin with, but I can see that being exploited for sure.
Turrets not shooting isn’t fine either though, way way too many things allow you to just glitch through structures if you know how. It would definitely need some tweaking and some thought put into it.
Regardless, none of it matters as they’ve never taken any suggestion on it into consideration, so us thinking what would be best is just useless…I’d take the old ones with the same old settings back over nothing for sure, they were fun.
The whole “no cave building” or no orp in caves (which on an orp server is basically the same anyway) is really bad though, I understand crystal isles isn’t out yet but shifting the meta away from cave building entirely is not gonna be feasible in Ark anymore (Gen2 being the only exception).

Well in my opinion orp actually helps with the glitching through structures thing since you can only take stuff off of survivor bodies and can't go through the base. It's funny I actually made the "invincible base for 20 seconds" suggestion on forums years ago and they did it 3 weeks after.
I dont like cave building much in general. It takes too much of the game away for any rival tribes. Which is what pvp is about, having opponents. But since they won't work on orp, your correct none of it matters.
So in regular pvp, taking the game away from enemy tribes is the easiest way to win since they can't play or do anything besides try to inside the tribe controlling the caves they need.

Stop saying cheat lol. Meshing is cheating technically. You can't download hacks onto a new gen console easily. Same with Xbox as ps5

Still early days I'm afraid. Been a rough start for alot of people.

The isle utilizes a que system its good when it works but can def suck. get in a que of 40 people 45 minutes later get to 1 and you start loading inn and it kicks you back to main menu and says server full....it can also get stuck sometimes and you just dont knwo if its stuck or just a long wait.

You can spam the whole server if you want and block drops too. People just need to blow it up. Simple.
