that’s because no one is holding these types of people accountable, but again it’s much easier said then done, however doesn’t mean it can’t be done, now the fact that this game has been around for as long as it has and it still promotes the level of toxicity it does because the developers won’t take it serious enough, or feel like they are not responsible for it and therefore shouldn’t be responsible for solving it leaves it as a failure while they’re looking to move on to ark 2 but if you can’t get it right the first time and don’t have cahonas to approach it the way it needs to be approached so you can fix these issues ark 2 will unfortunately become another hackers paradise

and it’s because of the attitude of wildcard devs vs hackers/coders. vin diesel or not, they want to compete more then wildcard does

wildcard devs are so high on themselves thinking they can’t do anything wrong, at least it looks that way meanwhile they’re are clowned on the daily by these guys, i wouldn’t be surprised at this point that if you took all of the profit in the exploit market and vs it the profit wild card has made on the entire game, the coders/hack sellers wouldn’t be far behind,

Ark 1 is broken and has too many bandaids on it already, they know that, it blew up too quickly and they wasn't prepared, look at the content they've brought us over the years, spectacular, can't argue with that otherwise you wouldn't still play lol. They've spent a lot of resources on putting in preventative measures on cheaters, anti mesh systems, they've tried and realized the only way to fix it is to move on to a better platform, with a full team focused on bringing people what they want.

There are specific types of servers that have different rates, such as Conquest which is 3x and Small Tribes which are 2.5x. Otherwise PVP servers are 1x 🙂

You can transfer almost anything across servers with minimal exceptions, like element and element shards. You can transfer element dust. You cannot transfer from a small tribes server to a conquest or 1x server. Then, whenever devs release new maps, they often close transfers into those maps for the first three months. This is relevant where Fjordur is concerned, but iirc transfers open up the first week or two in September. 🙂

Official servers have a transfer timer which you can view whenever you're at the obelisk, a drop, or at a transmitter. So long as the timer is still on those items, they cannot transfer until it finishes. This is for server save purposes.

On the official network, the servers save every 15 minutes. If something happens, Wildcard can roll them back as needed (though this is a very drastic measure they don't take often). Sometimes servers crash, and they'll load back up at their last save point. When you bring an item into your inventory and intend to transfer with that item to another server, there is a timer on it so the server saves that it is no longer where it was, and then you can transfer to a new server with it.

mmm land bases are an issue with official rather than turret cap tbh - being able to tape rush and mek rush with 50+ people completely negates them
for reference, smalls players consider some plats on non-gen1 (90 90 on gen2) as some of the best base locations in the game

also there's the whole thing with not being able to damage racers because of gamer builds lmao

if it's just a capped line issue then it's applicable to cave bases as well and should probably just be handled via an cluster specific increase to turret damage

for a level 105 you probably want 1 point fortitude, 300 health and rest in weight. at higher levels go for 500 health and then do whatever you want (weight and health are still two best stats, but you have enough of them that you can do funny shit if you want to)

People are leaving Official Servers or the game entirely because of the unchecked cheating, hacking and duping!! It has ruined this game as we know it!! We need an inbuilt & in-game cheater & hacker reporting system and not to be taken to some external website where we have to do the developers work for them by providing all the data!! When we are generating these reports and submit our support tickets we are under attack by cheaters & hackers who wipe us and cost us hundreds or thousands of hours of work in minutes to hours of their time with their unfair advantages!! Our Support Tickets are automatically marked as inactive and are subsequently deleted.. we are ignored!! We need active community admins to fight back against all the cheating, hacking or duping that has ruined this game!! The game needs a better anti-duping system to automatically detect and eraser duped items or assets and erase the entire tribe who was duping stuff, including erasing them from the servers the go to!! I was in a tribe named KDW on 620 that is moving to 901 and I left because I was being pressured into buying my own cheats & hacks and becoming a 'superhero'!! The cheaters in that tribe started small.. only to defend our home against cheaters & hackers while the developers don't do anything about it!! The number of cheaters & hackers grew to the extend people were pressuring me to cross that line and become the very thing I loath in this game!! I watched as they cheated & hacked constantly and people would follow them to our server wanting justice for losing to cheaters & hackers (us)!! Outsiders refer to the tribe as a 'scummy and bad tribe' and their assessment is 100% correct!! If you can not afford to police and manage the cheating & hacking in Ark then I suggest opening up a white market where people can pay for and buy in-game assets from each other and a portion of the sales goes to funding solutions to the cheating & hacking epidemic that destroyed this game!!
