Out of curiosity, how do people do boss fights on PvE? I am on an NA server, so its relatively close to me, but even with like 9 people on the server the ping will sometimes freeze me in place for like 15-30 seconds, and a couple times I've even been DC'd. Is this just a risk that happens when doing boss fights, or is there like a 'best time' to do the fight that I should prep for?

Oh, huhm.. thats a fair point. Neighborhood doesn't get fiber optic, and I use wifi. Everything else tends to run relatively well though, its really usually just Ark official.

Though it is reassuring to hear that the lag may be a me-problem. I kind of just assumed it was a constant thing on the servers. I can see about finding a way to run ethernet into my room, maybe...

Usually Ethernet to the wall means you're dealing with a WiFi access point, not a router. The actual router would be elsewhere in the house

In a cable internet setup there is either a cable modem (connecting to the wall with a coax cable, round connections) and a separate wifi router (connecting to the cable modem with Ethernet), OR a combined cable modem/router (still connects to the wall with round coax, but has the wifi built in).

Is there any other equipment physically connected to the unit you're talking about?

I'm not quite sure where the router actually is, then, but I know that a lot of the rooms in the house have ethernet ports and I was, at one point, connected to ethernet in a different room of the house. My taskbar had the little box symbol in the corner instead of wifi. But my room personally doesn't have an ethernet port so I have been using wifi. I do have a spare port to drag one down from the attic, if I am ever feeling up to that task, since I think that's where all of the other cords come from.

Okay. It may just be that the wifi channel has too many other devices using it, or the wifi version on either your PC or the access point is an older variety with less bandwidth

Official server saves are every fifteen. You can look by pushing h on keyboard not sure what it is on console. It would be the one counting down. Official server saves are bad at times taking a minute to do. It used to not be so bad but deoends how full the map your on is with buikdings dinos etc

Oh, I'd be incredibly grateful. My wife and I were playing on the island, and we had fire lions. Some kind people gave them to us for literally two hours, but then, due to carelessness, we both lost access to our own two-person clan and watched as our dinos disappeared from hunger. Anyone in your guild can refresh the timers so if you have a big tribe it might never be a problem for you. As long as someone gets close enough to render it the timer will refresh. If its a building no one ever looks at it can decay even if you are logged on.

Each structure adds some % to the crop plot. Just gotta keep adding until 300%

This always happens with high health tames. They raise faster than their health can regenerate. As long as their food is going up, you'll be fine. You can put them in the cryo hosptial if you want to regen their health faster if its a massive health pool (like a Dreadnoghtus)

3-4 years ago my character on ASE went to sleep in my base, and next day there was no character (max lvl with blueprints from all alpha boses), and wildcard was able to just create new character like 105 lvl without any blueprints, after 3-4 weeks of creating ticked

that was the end of playing ASE for me

we built a wooden box and it was going well
tamed 2 parasaurs and a raptor, then a pteranodon (names were Freddie, Mercury, Charles and garlic bread, in the order of creatures)
then it went downhill
suddenly everywhere we looked had giant prehistoric elephants spawning and they're extremely aggressive
we are surrounded by elephants so we run away and explore
while exploring I'm riding on the pteranodon named garlic bread and land to rest
evil pack of raptors + 2 elephants come from the trees while garlic bread has no stamina to fly
both me and garlic bread died
I respawn at the house, forgetting that there are 4 elephants outside, and they all begin roaring in fury and stomping down the house
house is destroyed and they also killed freddie and mercury
we somehow kill the elephants
then another elephant comes and kills charles
we lost everything

Hello! I want to make it so that Tames can't get additional levels they otherwise wouldnt (with the taming multiplier set to higher values) and I was instead using DinoFoodDrainMultiplier to get faster tames using the same amount of resources and same amount of levels.

Does anyone know how I can go about making it so for passive tames I can still tame them? There is too much time between feedings to make them get tamed with a 5x food drain multiplier.

5x drain multi works fantastic for KO'd tames but not the wild passive oens.

I think it was because of a bug where she was ignoring armour, which is allegedly fixed now... just dont wanna go through all the effort of coordinating 7 people's schedules and doing the setup work if its still bugged

I can’t speak to what they had and survived.
I had 930 health, 200 stam, 42 fortitude, 300 weight. Max flack. I had swapped my flack out to a new set so no durability damage when she one shot me. Everyone else survived. I just didn’t block in time. I blame lag but it might have been reflex’s 😅

I had not heard of using master of tools. Might have helped. Will look into the next run.

we have some super juiced Theris that we mutated ages ago when the map came out, like mid 40's melee/hp and 25 mutations in each. they absolutely blender everything in the fight. but they dont help much for the queen sadly lol.

We need ARKs for players. Player have own ARK with space 1000 x 1000 x 1000 for base . It saves local and in cloud for safety. This players ARK can be connected to server. Access from players ark to map by special teleport. Normal tek teleporters connecting active players like actualy when they online. No building on map without base block who is limiting space for temporary bases to 50 x 50. No more mess with pillars or wars for place on map

Hi everyone, I really need some help because I honestly don’t understand what’s happening to me.
Today, this has happened to me 5 times in a row. For some reason, my character keeps teleporting or spawning far away from my base when I sleep and log off the PS5, and I end up getting killed almost immediately by creatures. Because of this, I’ve lost all my Tek armor sets, a lot of valuable gear, some with more than 700 defense, an ascendant sword, and a whip, and even some really good dinos.
I’m relatively new to the game, so I don’t know if this is a bug, a server issue, or if someone is somehow doing this to me in-game when I log off. I already tried changing my bed and moving rooms, but it keeps happening over and over again.
Could someone please help me understand what’s going on or tell me if there’s a fix for this? I’m honestly getting really frustrated because I’ve lost almost all the good stuff I have.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am writing to request help regarding ongoing harassment from a nearby tribe/player on an Official PvE server.

For several days now, one specific player has been repeatedly targeting me and making it extremely difficult to enjoy the game peacefully. Yesterday, this individual admitted to repeatedly dragging and killing my unconscious body in order to steal my equipment and daily-use dinos. They have also come directly to my base and intentionally thrown or moved their dinosaurs around my area in a disruptive way, even showing me dinos/items they allegedly stole from me.

This situation has become daily harassment and feels targeted. I play on Official PvE servers specifically to enjoy a more peaceful experience, but this player is making that impossible.

I kindly ask if an administrator or member of the support team could investigate this situation and help stop this behavior. I am willing to provide server details, player/tribe names, screenshots, videos, logs, or any additional information required.

Dragon won’t land when he de-renders and loses agro. Carry a shotty or tek rifle for the times you need to remind him what he’s there for. I ride pyros, quite fast and immune to his fire breath as well as the lava. As an added bonus he shoots fire a good distance. Perfect for when dragons try ignoring your presence.

What do you mean? Start punch trees pick up bushes and rocks. Then you can craft basic tools.

i am just done trying to keep the server decent. Us OGs on 6056 are getting actively griefed by box tribes, our tickets are not getting answered, and the server is going to hell. GM's will actively help make the server more unstable with 200 cloner bases staying active, while wiping things that have helped the community on our server

I'm tired of PVP style tickets in PVE.

If folks come to 6056 they will get tek bases and dinos to get them set up, for free.

Not going to lie.

If you plan to move onto another Astraeos I'd recommend against it.

Your server is by far one of the cleaner ones when compared to some I've been on and it even features some cool builds.

And every server has it's a-holes, in your case it's the box tribes I suppose.

There is probably a deeper grudge here and plenty of reasons why you decided that way but honestly, other servers won't be any better, I'm afraid.

The OG's and I worked hard to try to keep the server nice. We would plot out land and help folks get established. These damn box tribes are just getting aggressive

If you're bored and got like 20 minutes, you should check out 6047.

It's my current home server and it barely loads in structures nowadays. There were cases when I got stuck in unloaded cloner spam for like half an hour because the radial menu glitched out as I was jumping up and down the invisible structure. 😭

We are pretty tight knit on the server discord, we all agreed to keep it to a 10 cloner max, and are trying to get the 200 cloner bases removed so it helps with lag

Getting resources aren't the issue bud but thank you anyway. The server has become all but dead so WC are sunsetting it and trying to even get the tributes is a ball ache. Reaper barb and basi fang are a pain and even raising enough dinos to even attempt to do it solo is just too time consuming

If I breed one with a female, and get a female baby and then breed the baby with a different male will it end up with 2 health mutations?

The first does not work. Each mutation stack is different. You can’t combine the stacks together. That being said, you can bring a higher base stat if you find one.
