They borked some of the drops in Island caves with Ascended unfortunately. I don't know if its a nerf or bug but the hard snow cave is the best one for loot imo.

If talking about Island, just the artifact

Typically for Island people do Swamp Cave or Snow Cave (Strong)

Snow Cave has Theri blueprints, Swamp has Rex

Skylord on island has one drop. I believe it’s usually fur. It’s to the left when you come to the first direction choice. Sometimes it’s in the room next to the artifact or if you go through the back entrance of the artifact room.

Like you said, though the valuable stuff is in the caves that you mentioned

SL has 2 drops on the official island. One just inside and the other deeper in the cave near the artifact.

They’re not always both red though, sometimes you get a yellow and a red.

Ice cave, aka Strong is definitely the better choice though. There are potentially 3 red drops and a mixture of blue and yellow throughout the cave.

Skylord is a bit easier if you don have the best tames

Though can also just fall into the instant kill zones

It can be yes. I use a boss lvl Rex and mange to clear it just fine. Just take your time. Use a grapple if no TEK to get up to the one red that’s high up. Need flowers as well to guard against dismount.

Also, if you using a spring drake, pop fur or attic head gear on it to stop it from freezing in the ice cave.

Acro works nicely! As the shield stance protects you from stun and the taunt roar acts as a rare flower

Alphas you cannuse mounts to kill them but an Argy would take forever

NA to EU is also broken, the entire system is broken 🥲 I've been trapped on a stranger's server since Friday, but I've learned my lesson from this: I'll create a separate character specifically for server transfers, one that doesn't matter if it gets lost & that isn't tied to anything ✌️☕️

Its pretty complex, would go throygh the vids again unless specific questions.

Mystic on Ark has a good guide for mutation breeding.

And highly recommend a spyglass mod... on Official really recommend just trading for top stat dinos until you can get tek binoculars

And Official you have to consider minimizing unwanted stats as well

No, map is fine to live on if you wanted to. Resources are good, ele is pretty easy too. It's very much focused on running missions though, if you are happy to do those then you'll be fine there. Downsides are big no fly zone over the city gets annoying, many mission locations can be glitched with left over structures that never disappear and the boss is rough.

Theres a cave in the very south east corner of the map, has an artifact in it as well and spawns yellow/red cave drops like 3-7 spots they can be in there along the walls and in broken buildings.
To find it look for the big statue facing east from the mountain down there and its just to the right of it in a crack in the mountain

I just created an extra test character to transfer & see if it works. From NA to NA / From NA to EU / From NA to Asia / From EU to EU / From EU to NA / From Asia back to NA & to EU / All variations work & haven't caused any problems. I was able to directly select the spawn point & spawned immediately. I had uploaded a few items & left a few in my inventory during the transfer; both are still there. So that's my report from 5 minutes ago. Seems like everything's fine again 🙏😅

When the server is down (offline), nothing else happens internally. All timers & processes are stopped, meaning food doesn't decrease or increase; nothing can starve or grow. After the server is reactivated, it resumes from the last data state, which is usually the state before the outage. For example, if your tames had full food, the server goes down & stays down for 8 hours before coming back online, nothing happened ingame during that entire time. The minute the server comes back online, everything simply continues where it left off. I learned this during the Astraeos "Mega Crash Update" on February 25th, when we were stuck in a server restart & crash loop with multiple rollbacks for several days, which led to several Astra servers being shut down for also several days. Nothing starved✌️

Has anyone ran across this issue, I haven't changed any settings on my cluster for Ark Ascended, does have a nightly restart which hasn't been changed either to keep up with the build updates for maps in my cluster.
The question I'm wondering is anyone having issues with vanilla storage structures like boxes, cabinets, workstations, etc. Basically the ones that hold items, after the update for Ark Ascended was done we had these issues, I've checked my settings and everything is still the same with no changes, the mod structure item storages and workbenches are not effected. In our Welcome Centers we have these unlocked for players to use, all of these that where vanilla type was effected with being that when the wheel was brought up the icon from unlock and lock was missing and these structures became locked to community, I destroyed the ones that was effected and replaced and icon to lock and unlock was visible again, however after the restart happened (our nightly restart on our cluster) they all became locked again and within the wheel the lock and unlock icon missing again.

Is this a glitch and if so is this being looked into?

(Sorry if I posted this in wrong area, I saw pve-discussion channel and since our cluster is a PVE cluster I thought maybe it gets posted here)

official is if you want the full experience of the game along with a nice grind to keep you busy. alot of cool people give away and also sell tames for in game currency, so if breeding for mutations isnt your thing, you can probably already find top stat lines and jus go on about playing the game and doing stuff. i mainly play solo on official myself and im enjoying it far more than i was anywhere else

also most servers have public crafting stations set up for people to use their blueprint library, the particuar 1 i play on has 3 or 4 of them with all good bps

If you have a transmitter place it over the oviraptor and see if yoh can upload the oviraptor. If you don’t have a transmitter try using a Dino leash.

They either auto grow (after a while) or if its bugged what has worked for me is build foundations all over it and pick them all up

That will normally make it grow resources again

Megaraptor is pretty good in cave, if u got a strong one or just want to diversity what u use, go for it

Did you check that your character isn't in upload? Because that's how they recover it, basically they just recreate your last uploaded character on that account and leave it sitting in upload.

It was playable and stable until the last few patches wete it has been horrible, but its been like that with other servers crashing fairly regularly compared to a few weeks prior.
