The trick is to breed the mutated male to tons of low mutation or clean females. Use traits to increase your mutation chances.

Yeah, a lot of the new creatures have been disappointing. Cool, but do I really want weaker, harder to use creatures when I've already got fully mutated theris?

Between theris, deinosuchus, and megalodons, anything else is purely optional and probably less efficient.

Quicker to raise and the pack buff gives them more resistances and damage making them close to Theris.

I did Beta Grendel with all Bison and here's the kicker. I only used primitive saddles. With capped saddles and pack buff they will be tanks

They're still great creatures. Im more alluding to the PvE dilemma. Because we never get wiped, all of our stuff is usually super mutated.

So when new stuff comes out, its almost always inferior to what we already have.

If someone likes a creature, no reason not to use it. They just typically lose out by comparison. Not because they're bad or anything.

Its an annoying extra step and pig is only good if ridden and the healing controlled, which requires more labor. Passive works, but is meh.

I actually have a pig that survived overnight in the tek cave. GF died and she was supposed to bring the rest of the army. We go back the next day, and hes still alive. Was confused because I thought tek cave wiped itself.

I have a simple pillar/2 foundation fix for a new server. Set it on day 0 for first 7 days to 1 day max on unsupported structures. The selling land aholes will not profit and you will just need to make a base and pillar around it only so you can not bet ring barked

For anyone new to map release’s or not familiar with PvE on them: Everything is super competitive to get to drops/claiming land/taming. No one is being a troll it is just because it’s new & everyone rushing in. If that’s not your style wait 2-3 weeks before playing a new map. Land is claimed day 1 for top spots. That means everything basically gets pillared. That’s PvE in general as well. People are all gonna be on the rat race so please 🙏 don’t go in thinking it’s a community friendly server as that comes later when things settle down. I wish us all luck on even getting on a sever & hopes the crashes let us in after. Carpe diem! Seize the day!

They way it goes is. Servers go off to up to update. You finishs dling map and have to play single player cause no servers. Then in 30 seconds of servers posting they are 70/70 or 100 whatever. If you crash your boned. Then you get back to every spawn pillared/thatch foundationed. Like every map ever

Regarding uploading to cloud is there not a perma. Death mechanic 🧰 so your main might not be the best char to take over. Right

From what I understand, you have to have them un cryo- potted and sitting out for 12 hours then you have to upload them and then you can transfer them but I’m not 100% sure of that nor is anyone else since we don’t know yet for sure until it actually works and order transfers as well as the whole mutation thing Who knows someone might squeak through as well you never know because as new map release there’s going to be bugs there’s gonna be issues and so on so forth it’s inevitable

The best thing you can do is just try and just know that whenever we transfer, there’s a possibility that we lose our character and or creatures transfers are never guaranteed thing

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best that’s all we can do

played pvp 4 times this year, every attempt was ended by hackers. the last time we even found a mesh spot on extinction that you could just fly to and built a base there, still not good enough. the games anti cheat is so bad they just quite literally just spawned a fucking dreadnaught thing in the base
