No there’s no way to make 1 Mut M + 1 Mut F to equal 2 Mut. On the other hand if you get a mutation on the female side (ex: 38->40 hp mut), then you can breed that female with a male that has zero mutations until it produces a male with that mutation (40 hp in the example case). Also on a side note, I don’t think it’s worth breeding or leveling any stat other than melee on gigas as everything else gives such tiny increases per point.

You can buy one through traders but honestly if you’re truly trying to learn the game you should fly out with a pt 2–5 times, pick an egg, incubate it with standing torches or incubator then tame a bison to feed it, or learn to tranq a female wyvern.

fyi you can milk a female bison once per hour if there is a bison baby
but the baby doesnt have to be next to it all the time, so cryo the baby up between milking and throw it out again when the hour is up

I raised my first batch of rock drake doing just that

About 30 min of venon farming will raise the drakes to full over a x2 weekend if you keep the venom in an ice wyvern. Even better if you use preserving salt.

However if you have bobs tall tales you can make barrels for even better storage

If you're looking for an island server, not sure, 5036 sunset as well.

Stay away from any Astraeos server. They all crash multiple times a day, everyday, and are pillar wastelands. Unless you are a high blood pressure enjoyer, of course. Cool map, needs fixing.

5657 Center is pretty good. Just stay away from immediate green Ob, some guy has a mega box there that guarantees frame loss. Otherwise lots of space.

Extinction servers arent too bad. The dev that decided on meteor shower mechanics shouldn't be allowed near video games ever again though. 5894 is alright.

Back when i didn't had tek i used meaguna but it spoils over time so u gotta put meat constantly ly

cooked meat works to feed babies when raising
if you farm up a lot of meat and put it into a maeguana (whilst doing auto-stack consistantly) then you can make the meat last for a long time
just make sure to do meat runs once or twice a week depending on your preference
a full stack of cooked meat can last at least 2 days in a dino iirc

I did this method and had the meat last me from fear ascended - turkey trials

Just use the built in tracking system. Same as dino tracking just choose tribemates and allies in the dropdown. Click who you want to track and it high lights their location. Not always accurate but it works

Abb 48.2 lat, 76.9 long is one of the best resource areas in the game. On 2x you can fill multiple Indy forges plus there lots of krabs for org poly/chitin, some crystal/obsidian, blue gems, gas balls, healing plants, and it’s very close to the surface entrance where you can a slot cap a fresh tamed trike with keratin in 30 seconds on 2x on the bones. Just pillar spam a small area for yourself so no one builds right next to your farming hub.

Man, been taming Ossidon on Rag, Val and the center. And by far, Rag is the worst.

You can easily get perfects on Val and Center. Rag just doesnt have enough small creature spawns, too many large spawns, and the arctic terrain is horrible. Its like 10x harder on Rag.

Have 42m, 45 ox, and 40 everything else. Took 90~ Ice Queen runs to get a 124 saddle bp. Still want better stats before LC drops.

Does the bosses damage scale with server difficulty? Playing with friends and one of them decided to set it to very high value so wild level dinos are absurdly high. I wanted to get some element so went to fight Beta broodmother since Megatheriums are the only breeded dino I have so far. I have max saddles and Beta broodmother was dealing over 1k damage.

Yeah I know how exactly does it work. I was mad multiple times already because Dino stat rolled over. It also happens to wild dinos aswell because creature in caves are like 3k lvl on this difficulty. Before we played on fjordur and we had way worse megatheriums for beta bosses, it was like 100 hp 100 melee, and they did it without any problem(wild level was set at 300 then he changed it 2 days after to 500). here it took like 6 minutes for much stronger ones to kill broodmother, i was ofc buffing them with yuty. I told my friend that setting the wild level dinos that high kills whole purpose of breeding but they dont really seem to care about it 🤣 If I was the host then I would set it up to like lv300 as wilds.

Rexes should be at 20K+ health or better after imprint/leveling, and 1K% damage or better after imprint/leveling. Might need to do some mutations to get there.

100 armor saddles or better (doesn't necessarily have to be ascendant, depending on your server settings).

Yuty can just be a high level wild tame - it shouldn't be "in" the fight much.

Put the Rexes on a dino group for easier management. You ride the Yuty and just stay behind the group and continuously do the roar, whistle the Rexes to attack the boss.

I personally don't bother with a pig. Just more to manage and 1 less Rex.

@gaunt wyvern Easy way to tame boas is to fly down wyvern trench on SE and drop fert wyvern eggs you find on the boas that spawn in the bottom of the trench. Accidentally tamed some when gathering eggs for a milestone and dropping them to save weight lol

Leveling your adults will have no effect on stats of the babies. Your best bet is to either breed levels into them before mutating or going out and taming high level ones lvl 120 and up.

That's not how that works. When breeding the babies take on the parents wild stats not the stats after leveling.

So if you have a lvl 159 male and a lvl 100 female you level them until they are lvl 200 each with points in stats from you leveling them, then you breed them the babies will still take on the stats the parents had at lvl 100 and lvl 159.

Your best bet is going out and being very selective when taming new ones. Do not tame ANYTHING under lvl 120-150 ish. Once you have a handful of those line them up and find out which ones have the best HP, and melee....maybe stam too if you really wanted too but I usually just do HP and melee on rexes. Then you can start cross breeding to get those good stats until you have 1 male and 1 female with identical stats all the way down those are your perfect male and female and THOSE are the ones you start mutating your stat lines with. Gl

There are lots of filters that prevent your server from showing up. Turn on / off PVE / PvP and password to see if it shows up. Ensure it the server is up. Check logs or ping the server IP address’s. Contact the server admin if it’s not you and finally Contact your server provider.

How do mutations work on Heli sharks? I somehow got a level 4 that has 90 crafting lol. One mutation should be 2 points which would be 20% crafing wouldn't it?
