If they are prescribed that would at least make it clear why she doesn't have them on the island, since she probably wouldn't have the knowledge to replicate her exact prescription out of like I don't know, crystal or something. Which makes me wonder where Rockwell got his glasses from. Like he wouldn't have spawned with them. Also Helena might just have slightly worse vision without glasses but not bad enough that she has to wear them all the time.

So, I had a weird discovery.
Aberration-Extinction Santiago has a different last name than Genesis-Santiago. Genesis-Santiago has been through the war up until nearing the end of it, has a different last name and a daughter. Ab-Exiago hasn't even seen the war, has a different last name and no mention of Meeka.

Meeka is still pretty young in the ARK 2 trailers, I'd estimate somewhere between 12-14, maybe. I've forgotten how long the Element Wars lasted, but that seems like enough time for Santiago to get a wife (last name change) and have a child. (Meeka)

Therefore it is my theory that in ARK 2 Santiago will talk, or at least hint (he seems a bit dodgy on the events of Genesis 2 to Meeka) about the war in whatever form of story he gives us. And in that lore he'll bring up not necessarily his wife, but Meeka and how she came to be.

To be fair, Fenrir wasn't made by WildCard and the other three all suffer from the whole "how do we make this prehistoric animal have more unique abilities without making it literally magical". Like all of their abilities make at least some sense. Desmodus is a big vampire bat so it drinks blood. The Fjordhawk can grab stuff and return it to the player (sure it can carry more that it realistically should and can travel really quickly but that is for gameplay purposes and it is a fictional species anyway). Andrewsarchus largely acts how you'd expect with bites and kicks and relies on a saddle to shoot stuff.

Compare that to the Daeodon which can magically heal other creatures by eating, which is mentioned in the dossier but never explained as to how it works lore wise. Sure, these abilities are technically less creative but they make way more sense.
