All in all that's just to see their scale relative to larger games companies. Imo Ark can easily aim as big as other titles but they're doing it with a fraction of the budget

They want Ark to be a household name, something that everyone just knows about, and I think that's much easier to do with something that's freely accessible

Welp, the latest trailer confirmed in TAS canon (Dollie confirmed it's loose-canon) that Helena had a healthy relationship with her wife.
Her wife goes off volunteer work (I forgor the actual terminology of it, but I believe it's volunteering to basically help I believe war-victims? Basically I think she was a volunteer medic. May be wrong, but I believe that's the case)
Due to this, Helena's wife died during her volunteering, Helena went intro a depression and overdosed. Leading to her waking up on middle of the ocean of The-Island's ARK.

And all of that wasn't explained in the notes. 🦛
So already giving more exposition then the notes did.
Which was fine for the notes, since that's all they needed to do.
But this is a show, and needs more plot and buildup.

There's also minor changes.
Like what appears to be Mei-Yin's and Helena's first interaction in TAS.
In the notes, Helena basically hunted down Mei to get information from her creatures droppings, for her own studies.
What appears to be the case in TAS is their first interaction was Mei-Yin saving Helena from a sabertooth.

@rain pebble according to linkedin studio wildcard has 99 employees, at the low low estimate of $20000 dollars each that’s 1.98 million dollars a year.

There’s 2382 official pvp and pve servers combined on Xbox, let’s say there’s 2000 on each platform (Xbox,PlayStation and pc) for a total of 6000. At another low estimate of $40 (nitrado website says it’s $34 for a 32 slot server each month) for each server per month thats $240000 per month or 2.88 million dollars a year.

Those two consistent expenses based on low estimates are about 5 million dollars a year. Then you have to take into account the animated show which probably cost millions to animate, and a cast list that probably cost tens of millions for the production all before even having somewhere to stream it.

So idk what that confused reaction is for

They can only hold off on putting the animated show on a platform for so long.

They’re eventually going to cave and just accept an offer from someone like Netflix.

One thing i must say is that i hope this series does not pander to the woke political agenda, especially since it's going on Netflix. That streaming service has had a few failures because of that said agenda. Too name a couple: Cleopatra or seasons 3 and up of the Castlevania series. This way of thinking i consider extremism and it will be guaranteed to cause problems for the series should it be allowed to have any influence in it.
