I am really hoping this series doesn't fall flat, Yet I can't help but notice the similarities between the actual studio itself and the show. From the Hush of Information to the early announcement with no further Information given really troubles me. Honestly the only thing keeping me hopeful for even seeing this show is knowing it can't be further delayed (Since we don't even know the release date). As for the shows content itself, I am really hoping for unique, compelling and confident story writing, adapting an already written story (Explorer Notes) and transferring it to an animated show is not a blank canvas, so hopefully the studio uses the structure accordingly to create a story we are familiar with, but can add its own twist of storytelling on our televisions. I hope the best fro this story and studio, but I really can't help but worry it falls victim to its own freedom, and forget the story it originated from.

The issue with the RE-movies is that they took everything 'too' seriously.
What makes the RE series great (story wise) is the dumb B-Ratedness of the series.

But, the general plot is damn good.

Ark should be similar.. cause to extreme changes and it beeing to "original" is something that is kinda meh for me at least.
Tha chars had to be added is understandable and for me personaly not even an issue cause you have more people that the writers in the notes do not specifically mention, but at least stay true to the note chars (add a bit to them without changing them or things that make no sense).. even in looks which especially with an animated is not that hard.

Here she is driven by other motives and there was no romance for her needed to make her motives valid, interessting and reasonable and the story was extremly well done with no romantic partner for her.
