The Island
Every time he chatted with Helena, he positioned himself to be the superior scientist when talking about science.
He choose to accept Nerva's offer of joining the New Legion in exchange for test subjects and a hand in helping out studying the obelisks
He twisted and manipulated theoretical facts into making Nerva think the obelisks can be turned into a weapon just so the New Legion can be near the obelisks more.
Rockwell is shocked to find that Helena helped Mei Yin to activate an obelisk. He feels betrayed by Helena.
Rockwell grew an obsession in learning more about the power of the obelisks, and the secrets of the Tek cave.
Rockwell didn't care about the New Legion and Nerva being destroyed several times over in the Tek cave for the night sky view and the mysterious material (Element).

Scorched Earth
He stole the artifacts from the survivors of Prophet's rest by making the guards fall asleep with his narcotic.
He manipulated Timur, the tribe leader of Scorched Earth's in-lore alpha tribe, the Burning Phoenix into serving him.
Rockwell gained Timur's trust by helping his wife, Nasrin, deliver their child, which was a success.
With Timur in a good mood, Rockwell told him about the obelisks, its artifacts, and a guardian to overcome while the tribe throws a feast in celebration of Timur becoming a father.
The Burning Phoenix tribe held a feast in celebration of besting the manticore, but Rockwell poisons the whole feast and leaves their compound with Element samples.
He hid his true self and Element samples from Helena Walker who, with Raia, found him after a sandstorm.

Aberration
Rockwell saw Helena as a useful, yet disposable bodyguard for him.
Rockwell manipulated Diana into serving his needs by placing him on the tribe's research team, an expedition into the Element region for molten Element samples.
There were instances when he wrote about his experiences and suddenly, he talks in the third person as if something else took over his mind and that force is telling Rockwell to do what it wants. Since he has too much exposure to Element, this could be the Element hive mind talking to and taking over Rockwell's mind.
Rockwell got furious over people mocking him directly or indirectly, or if they didn't treat him as a scientist.
Mei Yin wearing a suit of Tek armor.
His fellow researchers treat him like an old man
The researchers lecture and scold him like a child after he injected a full dose of molten Element into a charge pet.
When he overheard that Helena has done a great achievement, he was furious and wanted to prove that he is the better scientist.
Rockwell injected a full dose of molten Element into his body, turning himself into a monster and killing most of the survivors at the Tek Village. He vows to watch the entire world upon a throne of Element.

Extinction
Once the King Titan was defeated a secret ending cutscene will play, revealing that even after being slain by his hand, Rockwell was still alive and now on Earth alongside the crash-landed Aberration ARK and said a message to the Survivor in a distorted mechanical voice, I AM COMING FOR YOU.
The One Who Waits/Homo Deus Helena mentioned that Rockwell was delusional in thinking he is high up when he was already finished descending down the ladder of madness. She admitted that Rockwell chose to live as a monster who lived with inverted values where he loved tormenting people and hated caring for them.

-Humans had a golden-age of creating technology from this ever growing metal that they called "element" (due to it being literally anything and everything that it is, by all means, 'the' element of elements) and made a new technology phase called "Tek"
-This tek civilizations where able to do many wonders. But humans being humans always find petty shit to fight over.
-Terran Federation wanted to tax element, while the U.R.E wanted to keep it a free resource. And so the two super powers had basically a World-War that's referred to the community as the "tek-war"
-This war lasted for a long ass time, and it only ended when "Surprise!" element is actually also alive (like i said. It's "everything")
-With the major pollution of the war, and all tek based machines running on tek, and the gas that comes from tek are actually spores from element. Element was able to easily start spreading like a alien virus.
-Element then became "corruption" (same corruption/corrupted creatures from Extinction)
-Corruption then got so fucking out of hand that it was able to form literal titans out of the air. Since the air was so polluted with their spores.
-Corruption was killing off all of humanity, and the last handful of humans decided "Hey, lets actually get off of our asses and make sure humanity survives"
-Last humans made space-stations known as "ARK's" which where stations with chunks of Earth out of them.
-They also made the Genesis-ship but that's for another time.
-Last of humans on Earth died and now the last humans are on the ARK's as clones.

That's a 'VERY' shorten version of it. And left a lot out.

There's no limit with tames in the arena since it's in the world. So you can bring literally anything.
But Rockwell Prime is a classic boss arena, so you have to balance it for that 20 creature tame limit.
