Well yeah if ur difficulty is 1. what would that be, a max level of 30? But yeah higher lvls are rarer on certain maps. You're going to have a much, much easier time finding a high lvl on a map like ragnarok then a map like the island. On most of the story arks high lvls are rare, and on most of the free maps they arent.

we got it to crash our clients to desktop, and we removed what was causing the crash...

if i change server to a different server i can open inventories fine..

For smaller dinos, upto therriin size, try to imprint in a mate boosted female kangaroos pouch. (Proctopicon but that is spelled wrong).
Every imprint done is double the amount.
Also, get a fjordur bat (desmodus) and make a Sanguin potion from blood packs to get a 30% imprint bonus one time pet dino

Ok so basically i still dont understand mutations much, like since you usually should put all of the mutations on the father's side, how do you even keep it on the father's side? like if 2 raptors had a baby what determines if its on the father's or mother's side? is it just like if the baby is female it goes on the matrilineal side? like how does it go on just one side?

say you have 2 raptors male and female, both 0/20 mutations- there is a roughly 2% chance for a mutation on either father or mother side into a random stat, so its possible to get it on both sides but its super rare. after getting a mutation, to continue your line as clean as possible you want to: (if the mutation is on a male, just breed it with the clean 0/20 female until you get a new mutation- rince and repeat) (if the mutation is on the female, breed it with the clean male until you get that mutated stat incorperated into a new male then use it for breeding with clean females.) so basically you want to have a shit ton of clean females while your male will be getting the mutations on it, constantly swap out to keep the line as clean as possible

So if the father has 3/20 and 5/20, the baby will have 8/20 on the paternal side
That being said, all the mutations being kept on the paternal side already happens when you breed correctly, with mutated fathers breeding with mutated mothers. You don’t need to worry about keeping it on one side or the other

@somber fulcrum yo. You have to make sure you dont have a whistle group set. Default key is zero on numpad. It will change to 0 or 1. 0 means no group selected. 1 means you whistle group 1.

Use numpad keys to set group number. 0 is for anything not set to a whistle group.

upload your char, exit the game, go to your steam library folder make a backup of the folder named Saved at \ARK\ShooterGame\ and delete it.
get on ark and download your char on gen2 and you should see the intro cinematic / receive the exp buff / have the hlna note, if you dont try it all again but instead log in first on a local game and then on official. When you do get the note, exit the game and restore the folder.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong, or if it's a bug I cannot get rid of. If I hold T to get the other whistle commands. No matter what command I choose, if I am aiming at another creature, it will whistle twice, and he second one always makes them follow. No matter how careful I am to release the T when choosing say .. " Whistle Land (Flyer One) " Then a second whistle will make them follow.

My only way to stop that from happening is to issue the command and immediately face away from any creatures.

For some reason, my framerate has dropped down from 65~ fps, to 45-50 fps, and whatever I do to change the graphics settings, nothing happens the framerate, t.maxfps doesn't change anything, and this is only happening in Ark.

for ovis farm they need to be adult. adult ovis farms are a genuine thing for hide, mutton, and pelt. if you have a tool like hatch equipped and hold e on an adult ovis, slaughter option appears which instantly kills it and then you can harvest it how you like

The lightning wyverns are probably the most dangerous. The best strategy to use to get an egg is to sacrifice something tanky like a argy to distract them, or just drop all your gear off nearby, grab the egg, and then run. repeat until youre out of the wyverns aggro range

kite them into a bunch of turrets. a maewing should work for that.

Gatcha is a dino you can capture by feeding snow owl pellets or crafted items. Once tamed it will eat crafted items and in exchange will drop crystals you can open for resources or items. Each Gatcha has a pool of different resources it can drop, black pearls being one of them. You can get an infinite amount then.

i bring 15 rexes with similiar stats faivon, and they lost like between 2000 and 5000 hp each so bringing less would probably make them need more healing
