Hi everyone, I really need some help because I honestly don’t understand what’s happening to me.
Today, this has happened to me 5 times in a row. For some reason, my character keeps teleporting or spawning far away from my base when I sleep on my bed and log off the PS5, and I end up getting killed almost immediately by creatures. Because of this, I’ve lost all my Tek armor sets, a lot of valuable gear, some with more than 700 defense, an ascendant sword, and a whip, and even some really good dinos.
I’m relatively new to the game, so I don’t know if this is a bug, a server issue, or if someone is somehow doing this to me in-game when I log off. I already tried changing my bed and moving rooms, but it keeps happening over and over again.
Could someone please help me understand what’s going on or tell me if there’s a fix for this? I’m honestly getting really frustrated because I’ve lost almost all the good stuff I have.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hiya, I have breeding question.. This morning i have hatched two rexes with a mutation on melee.
The male is 63 (7mutation melee). the female is 49(clean) Melee.
two of the babies i hatched this morning have 51 melee, indicating a new mutation on melee, however taking the lower stat and not adding the further 7 mutations.
is this a bug or is it working as intended as I would expect 65 melee. Are these babies useless to me?

Sounds like it got the melee stat from the female and added a mut. I would guess they are useless as you want the stats and mut from the male to continue the progression. It is working as intended, just bummy luck.

Don't think they have it enabled on officials but there is a setting to allow tribe wars on PvE. It makes it so 2 tribes can agree to temporary PvP.

Alternatively, just set the creature aside and breed the color into your stat stacks at the end.

I play on an unofficial cluster using windows version. Since the update I am unable to connect to certain maps, I have to connect to Island, make a new survivor, transfer to another and then transfer where I want to go (Center). Even with the direct connect command, I get a timeout error.

Lost Colony, go to any of the aberrant zones and use a theri or maeguana to harvest the blue grass things

Or go to aberration into the red zone theres plants that give lots of polymer

Hard polymer is stupid hard youre better off farming organic polymer

like for hard poly just get a mantis with good pick and good melee and whack obsidian rocks and for cementing paste just get a doedic to get stone, and get something to farm mantis' or deathworms for chitin/keratin (also the surface entrances in aberration also have bones you can harvest for keratin)

If the server is physically in his house ask him to follow the router/firewall configuration in the wiki to and or ask chatgcp to guide him through configuration. That’s my best guess as to what is happening.

I guess he may not have cross play enabled either. Again wiki or chatgcp will guide him. There’s a channel for server setup where people who cruelly know what they are talking about can help you as well.

I have an update to this issue regarding characters hitting the "Create a Character" screen on Unofficial Servers after a transfer/log out, even when their character still exists in the world. Hoping someone from WC sees this so it can be fixed, but for those who need assistance with it, hope it helps!

Thought I'd share the (possible) issue occurring and what I found fixed it, since I did find something that seems to be a solution

• A user on the steam forums mentioned as a server owner they noticed what occurs on the backend.
• Essentially, if you transfer from Server A, to Server B in a cluster, your data is removed and rewritten on the new server you transferred to in that cluster. That's intentional.
• However, the issue happens when you transfer from Server B, to Server C (or even back to Server A/any server you've been to before). Your information is written to that server, but not correctly saved/applied. You can play normally, but if you were to log out at this moment, you would log back in and experience the bug/be met with the create a character screen, even though your character still exists. It's because the data did not save correctly to the map when transferring.

Disclaimer: The above is probably not the correct terminology or EXACT process, but simply an easier to understand version. The user I found this from physically witnessed the PlayerID data associated with the account fail to appear/be deleted, and then reappear with the solution.

Solution: Another user mentioned the fix is to learn an engram. That's it. Doing literally anything else (forcing a world save, taming something, playing on the map for x amount of time, etc, nothing they tested would force the save to reappear EXCEPT learning an engram. If you learn any engram, the server will be forced to save your data and it seems (hasn't occurred since I started doing this) to stop the bug from happening entirely.

Just thought I'd share and hope it helps! :)

am I just getting unlucky or are acro spawns on carno island just low? I've gotten a few spawns and I've been doing it for awhile now, haven't gotten good levels. Is there a better spot for me to get them? playing on the island.

alot of servers are offline. You can check on arkstatus to see about your server. If down for more than 20 minutes I would make a #server-reports

Depends what map tbh as there some maps there refuse to work for me with 60fps

When regarding item loot quality what is the multiplier for each tier of quality? Like What is the multiplier for Primitive, Rameshackle, Apprentice, Journeymen, Mastercraft, and Ascended items?

I’m trying to import a modded weapon into the loot table of my servers drops and I don’t know what the multiplier is for each tier. I don’t want like Ascendant level guns dropping in blue drops.

tables are nested a bit, but each set has a weight (odds of appearing) and each item in the set has a weight. iirc they are all treated as equal if not set

normal hatchet costs 1 flint to make. Repairint costs 1/2. Normal hatchet ends up costing 1/2 flint to repair, meaning that being upgraded to ascended doesn't make it that expensive flint-wise

ofc that amount gets rounded up to 1 on the primitive one

repair-wise the ascended hatchet is wayyy cheaper
