Super long shot here....Playing LC, made my first Malwyn, unpodded my reaper to pod the malwyn (makes me feel better in case of any glitches(ha...) with new evo'd dino), leave reaper in the middle of base, go run around on Malwyn for a few minutes, server crashes, we roll back to right after I made the malwyn, and unpodded my reaper. Reaper is now gone (not on tracker, not in pods, i didn't put it in anything), but now I have 2 managarmar pods, 1 unusable...I'm assuming I'm just screwed. anybody confirm/ideas?

Add the Drop you want to override, and select "Load Defaults When Available". Them change it to what you want it to be. Export to your game.ini. But there are lots and lots of different drops in the game.

Some modded cryo pods have backup system built in to them for just that reason. But if you are on officials your screwed.

Yes. The thing I usually struggle with is getting the quality ranges to my liking. Changing the items are pretty easy. But the way quality is calculated by the game makes it kinda tricky getting the right quality settings.

Yes. An overall setting.

But for the override of the drops the quality will just be an odd looking number that is later used in a calculation in game.

You kinda need to look inside the DevKit to understand how it works.

I wish you could do with the loot drops as you can with the spawn containers and just remove select stuff. But with the loot drops you have to override everything.

But just try it out. If you don't like the change it's just one line (per drop) in the ini to remove and you are back to vanilla. No risk really

It's just the ConfigOverrideSupplyCrateItems lines in Game.ini you need. I just copy paste them into may game.ini. I don't really trust programs to mess with my ini files directly.

If you want to use the "export" I think you need to import you original ini files first in case you had done some changes to them.

Just copy all ConfigOverrideSupplyCrateItems line from the export window "game.ini" tab and paste them at the bottom of the [/Script/ShooterGame.ShooterGameMode]

But game need to be stopped when you do it.

If you are running a non-dedicated server it's basically a single player game opened to others. So the same limitations as the single player game applies. Only a small part of the game is loaded, and nothing outside of that spawns.

Hi everyone ive been reading and maybe I missed it (theres alot of messages here) but im having some issues with my LC map. Non dedicated private server that me and my friend play on ps5. I am located at 89.3 lat 4.3 long. The problem is I cannot keep spawns. Either we have an overload of literally hundreds of baryonyx and nothing else barely OR I do a Dino wipe and the spawns appear normally and when you leave the area ALL the spawns have disappeared. And I mean all. Have steggies, trikes, moschops, beer guys, all spawn in the 500 to 1000 m around the house. Leave the area and theyre all gone. Just despawned. Any ideas? Tbh its great for exploring cause theres nothing around but really sucky for tames and general enjoyment.

since ya are on console, your only options are to either wait for the next patch and hope it gets addressed or host/rent your own dedicated server

Used to do it on mobile when I played. It worked you could run the whole cave and be invisible to other cave creatures. Unfortunately I think pc has the nuance of certain creatures that are not cave exclusive like direwolves will still attack you

Chalicos work well on most bosses if you can get ones with good hp and damage. You want to try to get it so you can have at least 20k HP and 600% melee on them for alpha. I've done alpha dragon and overseer with them without casualties but I still had to use rex with tek saddles for the tek cave section since yutys can fear them to easily. Naturally herbivores so use veggie cakes for alpha difficulty.

Also used them on genesis 1 alpha master controller on ASE without issues. I tried them on LC boss gamma but they weren't great on the rock golems and they had trouble with path finding in some spots. I'd say theriz are still better for LC.

the only way for PS5 players to head into the city is to join a server, preferably with minimum to no mods or play on your own dedicated server and turn off the stupid npc spawns

it won't fully stop the crashes but it'll at least allow ya to explore the city and do outposts

I'm play on PS5 Pro however so regular PS5 players might have it rough, even on Single Player where NPC has already been disabled there

It's like that for everyone that plays the game in Single Player. Nothing spawns.

things really only spawn when you're in their general vicinity (since chunks don't keep running when you're not in them in single player). So you'd have to, e.g., continually fly over the giga and carcha spawn spots - and eventually one would spawn.

Yes, I see, but I've been playing solo for a long time now, and the gigas/carchas used to appear even when I wasn't nearby. It's only been for the last month that I don't see any of them anymore, even on all the maps, even after going back and forth several times.

But the problem only is noticable in Single Player and non-dedicated (as that is basically single player). So play on a dedicate server fixes it.

Xbox is taking its sweet time with the LC add on update. Skittle said its slowly getting pushed out but no word since then unfortunately. My guess is there's been some issue with the cert process for xbox patches. Reason you crash when loading is because the games treating it has if you don't have the map installed.

Is there any command one can do to trigger the animation logs on LC? Have tried resetting the milestones. Logged out and in. Done milestones until it shows a note as reward. Done defence and attack missions. But still not triggering for my friend. I do get them..

It doesn't affect the harvest amount but the rate it grows at so if you crops are on a 1x and you green house is 300% your crop growth is now 3x but you are still limits on how much each plot can hold and the tek crop plots cap at 500% giving 5x speed

My biggest problem right now is you still can't complet 40% of missions on Lost Colony if something gets knocked off the bridge or spawns in the a hole. I know I have seen them teleporting back up but still not all of them do. For instance it was a Lost Theri and it must have been just in range to not want to teleport back to the bridge.

Whenever the Dreadnoughtus is near a Big creature it constantly gains the Titan Slayer buff, increasing its Damage dealt and damage resistance. The increase depends on the Drag Weight of the big creature from 5% up to 50% at 1000 Drag Weight or more. The Dreadnoughtus needs to be the only of its species around 100 meters for this buff to activate.

Me and friends like vanilla experience to but servers for different maps aren't cheap. It's best to make a compromise between what you want access to and the experience you want. Reason I recommend that mod. As long as you add creatures to biome they fit it doesn't ruin the experience. 🙂

Our Astraeos server won’t allow dinosaurs to grow.

If the server goes down, until you render them back in they are stuck in stasis and will not mature.

I’ve tested this with a pair of tek giga’s that have taken over 2 months to still not fully grow.

is there a bug with LC ascension? we just beat it, ascended.....and were still in the arena after the cutscene. Engrams show as unlocked (havent tried them yet), but my implant doesn't have the LC boss on it (even after dying).

if ya are playing on The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction or Lost Colony, it's not unusual for creature levels to be low

story maps all have low level spawn distribution by design
