Would anyone know why I would be unable to download some modded creature data? I switched from Rag to Valguero (before LC dropped) and it didn't work then, got new dinos in case those were bugged but then switched from Val to LC and they dont work either. Did you enable foreign dinos on your settings?

To enable foreign dinos on your Ark Survival Ascended Nitrado server, you need to access your server's GameUserSettings.ini file via the Nitrado File Browser and add or set CrossArkAllowForeignDinoDownloads=True under the [ServerSettings] header, then restart your server for the changes to take effect, allowing creatures from other maps or servers.
Stop Your Server: Go to your Nitrado web interface and click the red "Stop" button for your ASA server.
Access File Browser: Navigate to the "Tools" section and click on "File Browser".
Locate the File: Go to the directory: .../arksa/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/.

Sometimes can get away with doing death runs where you lure away the critter that's causing you problems. Another trick is to agro it then stand next to a herbivore that's strong enough to kill it.

Hello, we are having problems with Lost Colony, specifically with character transfer to Lost Colony. When trying to travel to the map with a character (private cluster), the character gets deleted and cannot be found on any map. According to the log files from Lost Colony, the server detects that someone is joining, but details about the character are not transmitted. Found a solution to the solwyn only dropping prim vulpite! If your max dino level is set higher than 150, dont try it on anything higher than that. 300s were dropping prim, 150s will drop the ascendant! The game isn't recognizing the higher dino levels on higher difficulty settings.

In regards to speed of Adventure Time on veilwyns it seems to be linked to exp you specifically gain while it's on companion mode. Fastest way seems to be killing baby carchas. 5 baby 255 with broth of enlightenment and 20% tribe Tower gave roughly 15%. This is on 4x exp rates.

Well, I found a work around that is working for me and the people on my cluster. I put in my server name in the search bar and then keep refreshing until it shows up. Looks like my list is capped out but when you refresh it keeps pulling in a new set of servers. Hope this helps others

Anyone know why the game crashes every other time I open my inventory? Only when my character is visible, it doesn't crash when opening a container or dino inventory. And it only happens on my laptop, never my pc, but the laptop can run the game ok otherwise. On the first day of Lost Colony, everything was fine, I played for about 14 hours straight without any crashes. However, the next day, after the hotfixes were rolled out, I started crashing frequently. When it happens, I can’t interact with anything, but I can still see other players moving, attacking, and doing their normal activities. Had a player on my cluster that had this issue. Afraid only fix I found for it was to change the Cluster IDs so his account was no longer linked to the bugged ark cloud. In theory it might go away after 24 hours from when the issue started but I've not tested this. Issue seems to be triggered by transferring with to many items in your inventory (player never cleaned out his dropped cosmetics).

After I transferred form one cluster map to another, I started getting a box flashing "Refreshing Ark Inventory" when opening my character's inventory.
When I open a structure inventory it pops up but then instantly freezes and crashes my game.
I've been told to wait it out and it will fix itself but then it just fails with a 006 error and does it all over again when I open my inventory again.
I have tried:

• Deleting the mod folder completely
• Deleting my saved folder completely
• Deleted Ark and did a clean install

The console storage mods are all jacked up. In order to even log into any server I have to uninstall every mod I have and re-download the winter event mod. I Uninstall every mod and haven't redownloaded any except the event mod however it keeps installing a bunch of mods back, even ones I never purchased or installed before. I can understand the need/desire to have a laptop. I prefer to at least be 'around my family' when I'm gaming (3 kids) rather than totally locked up at a desk. If it helps - I play Ark Survival Evolved on my Lenovo Laptop with a 3050 Ti (4GB Video RAM), 32GB RAM and Ryzen 5 6600H and on medium settings with a trike and 6 dodos following me around in frame I was getting a solid 60-70 FPS, ocassional dips to 50s but still definitely playable... IDK the differences between ASE and ASA but I'd say the GPU you're looking at should put you reasonably in the ballpark.

Original test was at nightand just after launch... idk if day/night makes a difference or background stuff settled but now I almost can't get it below 100 (bouncing between 110-130 fps). Either way - definitely playable, ASE, on my little 3050Ti 4GB - Mobile.

Unfortunately that's a server issue that seems to have a chance of happening when you transfer with to much in your inventory. In theory it might fix after 24 hours but only instant fix I found is to change the cluster ids on the server. This will make it so your characters no longer linked to the bugged cloud. Downside is that all players on the cluster will lose any stuff they have uploaded.

For those still experiencing the "Refreshing Ark Inventory" glitch and are using Nitrado, disable/enable CrossArk in your Nitrado settings and then regenerate your Cluster ID. This works 100%, only downside is if anyone has any tames in upload they'll be gone. Please let people know!

Nah, this one is a lot more brutal and invasive as it constantly flashes that black box on screen, eats your RAM and eventually hardlocks/crashes your game. Spoil will fix it, however, not in my case as it could be dependent on what server settings(I'm sure they are boosted on the cluster Im on, just dont know how long for) are being used for terminal uploads. But surefire way to fix it is what I said previously. Just wanting to pass on the knowledge.

if you use the command setcheatplayer true, you can see the * NPC * count, that tell you how many dinos are on the map currently, to turn it off just replace true with false, it should usually be around 10k + from my experience on singleplayer/hosted

an issue could be that your technicaly still on singleplayer so if youre comfortable with it you can install the mod called Prevent Hibernation which should in theory help with that

try building down pillars from the ceiling of the bridge and then snap a foundation to it, if you just placed a foundation thats not snapped anywhere related to the bridge it wont give support, youll probably have to either place a line of foundations below the bridge or just make a big pillar down every couple ceilings

I’m not super on the command game but I would say disable your clouds if you want that could help but make sure your settings are lower I have everything on med to low for the most part and the game still looks really good

im on steam so this might not be super accurate for you but - when theres a patch (like right now) it download the files for the patch and then it patches the entire amount of the games file size so even a small update can take hours since it patches the whole thing. even for me on a fast SSD it takes hours but theres not much we can do

I have a problem on Niotrado hosted server. started with Extinction and carried across to every map. If the creature doesn't naturally spawn on the map you may not be able to transfer it to the map. Symptom... no error, just fails to transfer and re-appears in the creature list in the transmitter.

The fix that works for me is to manually spawn in one of the creatures. So if you are having trouble transferring an Argent, spawn an argent in using Admin commands. I spawn a tamed one, then kill it.

After that, I can transfer those creatures no problem. Try it out, hopefully it helps.

Yup. That's why you set it on the command line. You can have a different command line for each map, even if you share 1 install folder for all servers.
