you have to ensure all DLCS are installed first, then if its still doing that uninstall the mods then reinstall if not then possible reinstall the DLCS.

Has anyone else been experiencing issues with metal nodes on your servers. We have been having an issue that anky's harvest rate randomly tanked (only with metal nodes) and its faster for is to use tools and hand harvest. Also yesterday harvest was just fine. No configs where changed and the server didn't even restart when it happened. Restart did not fix the issue either

For the 150th time, ps5 non dedicated/single player cannot play. Blue screens after about 45 seconds every time. Load in , play get stuff going, bluescreen. @vapid python please fix this. Have not been able to play at all since launch. Neither has most people ive spoken to that I run with. Any hot fix? I've done data reconstruction, cleared cache, my last resort is to delete and reinstall. But others said this doesn't fix it either. Is it a mod causing the problem or what? simply navigate to the nvidia website and look for the driver mentioned, download and install as normal. It has a driver section. Can't post links here buts its pretty staightforward. (just enter your gpu model on the left in the drivers tab, look for the right number, voila)

The correct process would be to download the program called DDU (it’s free). It will remove the newer driver. After restart, go to techpowerup.com and find the 566.36 and install.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. You will likely leave parts of the old driver behind. DDU is standard practice when uninstalling graphics drivers.

Any tech oriented person is going to tell you to DDU the driver. If you took your computer to Microcenter and they needed to reinstall the driver, they’d DDU the older driver first.

Is anyone still having random FPS drops? It only happens when I am on a flier or near the ocean. Hi, I am looking to find if there is a work around for transferring dinos on an unofficial, unclustered, private server, on ASE from one map to another (Ragnarok to Extinction, if it matters) without having their stats tanked to level 1. To clarify, I am not the server owner, nor have admin privileges, owner has stated to have tried transferring cryo'd dinos via obelisk to city terminal as an item, once released on new map all stats have been reduced to lvl 1, even as buggy that stamina does not replenish. The same dino transferred back to OG map have Stamina regen fixed, but stat/level reset was irreversible. (including command induced color change, reverted to default)

With the research I've done in the last few hours, it looks like this is a common occurrence and that having a second server to cluster may be a solution but I do not believe that is an option since the owner seems opposed to setting up a cluster.

On ase I used to play single player in pvp mode since it allowed you to pick wild dinos up with your argie and dump them in traps, and there's no one to mess with your things. 🤷‍♀️

Evolved does not have official server anymore, and I think the in-game server list for unnofficials is spotty, it is easier to find a high-pop server in battle metrics I think. ASA you will find more servers with high pop because it has official servers.

I've been experiencing a fatal error that seems to be associated with either my single player map or character. My crashes were happening immediately when attempting to load into my single player game. I could access the game menu and join other online games with a new character. It seems my character or map were corrupted. If this description matches your experience then follow the instructions below to restore your single player game files from your backup files. This is not the same as "verifying integrity of game files".

1. Go to "\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ARK Survival Ascended\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal\TheIsland_WP". In this directory you should see the files listed below:

1399980138.arktribe
1399980138.tribebak
LocalPlayer.arkprofile
LocalPlayer.profilebak
TheIsland_WP.ark
TheIsland_WP_30.10.2023_04.12.38.ark
TheIsland_WP_AntiCorruptionBackup.bak

2. Create a new folder (Name the folder archive, old, or corrupted.. doesn't matter)

3. Move the following files into the archive directory you created:

4. Rename the following files in the "TheIsland_WP" directory as such:

My only concern with this fix is that you may lose some progress. I had just created flak armor for myself and a metal spear but it doesn't seem like I lost any progress. Just a fair warning that your results may vary.

Recently I have noticed babies don't grow up if no one is in range. We may come back to the server a day later and our babies are still babies at the exact same age.

Ok, thanks for the input. Our dinos did not "catch up". Its also been happening on all the servers I've played on. I wasn't sure if it's a bug or a planned implementation. Hopefully wildcard will fix it. Its really discouraging considering how long it already takes to raise dinos.
