ok so my rock drake was stuck in a unbuildable cave but i was able to find a place where i could build at and i put a dino leash and made my meshed/glitched rock drake on follow and in was in range of the leash and lowered the range of the leash and it teleported to me! i was so happy love dino leashes.

I have played ark since the launch of aberration on ase and i have got to say this is the worst state i think i have ever seen this game. I play on a large cluster and only half our population can actually load into various maps. Platform, map, mods, etc dont seem to matter. Its like the game just decides who can play and when. I was one of the lucky few that could actually get in and play with very few issues since the update. Now all of a sudden my game dashboards or black screens or fails to load comtent every time i attempt to log in. I cleared my cache and redownloaded mods and still no luck. The patch earlier was for Ps5 so how the hell did it mess up me logging in on xbox?? This is absolutely crazy and the messed up part is you guys havent even communicated that you are aware of the issues, are working on it or pinpointed and making progress. Silence. You guys used to have a horrible reputation for public communication, then the communication improved and now its like back to the dark ages. Like keep buying dlc and comtent packs and shut up because we dont care. It's sad that myself and others feel this way but i guess that's on us huh?

save commands in a list using your phone, use " | " to seperate commands, copy and paste list and use remote play on your phone to copy and paste the list into your console once its open and ready to type in game.

Well, the old Ark Evolved hairstyles started being the only ones in instead of the Ark Ascended and the animation flopped AGAIN after the major update. Why am I not surprised that ARK hasn't been fixed with that yet?

Hi everyone, I know i posted about this just the other day but I’m going to try again.

I am playing in an unofficial server that uses The Center map. I am having an issue with my inventory being 100% blank (including no implant) and I can’t harvest anything. This issue has been persisting across the 2 servers I am a part of that use the center map. This issue NOT an issue on Astraeos or single player with the center map.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I literally cannot play at all in these 2 servers and even my dinos don’t get meat from killing wild dinos.

I have tried many troubleshooting steps including: *clearing saved data *restarting game *uninstalling all mods and reinstalling all mods *restarting Xbox *uploading character *opening terminals *dying and grabbing bag *dying and leaving bag *starting single player *deleting single player data *joining other servers *leaving other servers

and all this has done literally nothing

Any help would be really appreciated. I also cannot submit a bug report because I never receive the verification email after creating an account on survivetheark website.

Loading into a server turns the screen black before it can load, mods un-update themselves and won't let you in, its horrendous.

Not only the fact that untill that one online gaming act that was put out that forced yall to be legally obligated to look at reports on Ark servers, you just let people hack and everything without giving a care. But yall refuse to fix your game regardless of how it affects us

Around 79 - 46 top of a hill at the southside of the island. At the top there is crystal, metal, and an explorer note. Just be careful that area spawns alpha raptors. Or get a flyer and go to the volcano, most times it is empty of dinos, but keep an eye out cuz big ones spawn there sometimes.

in general, don't waste points on crafting skill. if you need it, use a mindwipe then go back to what you had

the only thing you'll be crafting in large amounts on your person is arrows, and you can start making those as you tend to your base

Hey is anyone else experiencing massive loss of frame rate after a period of time since the update? It seems normal. Even smoother for a bit. But suddenly out of nowhere the frames drop to unplayable. I've looked online. Added some line for two dinos (weird but tried) and lowered several settings. It seems to inevitably catch up. I tried this on SP and some random unofficial server with no mods and It inevitably happens without fail. Some times only after a few minutes. Other times as long as a half hour or hour (as I fool around with settings), but never much longer that that. Any thoughts?

I found a fix for that. You need to make sure that when you login, you ar at 3rd person camera and not first person. To do that, logout of aberration while on 3rd person camera and NOT mounted on a tame. Then relogin

I actually managed to find a set of settings that allow me to play for hours on end, before the issue appears. When it appears, I remove it, as you say, by switching to windowed mode and back. The set actually contains many epic settings as well as some low, but the overall result is 60-90fps with excellent visual quality.

That sounds odd? I know some people have been having issues where their dino flies up into the air after going on to a slope. Have you tried cryoing the dino and throwing it back out / going out of render and coming back?

You may be having a render issue. Try just standing somewhere safe for 5-10min / turning off fog. A bit strange, but those are the fixes I've gotten to work when I had the issue when Extinction first came out.

Turning frame generation off did the trick for me. I also avoided updating my graphics for a bit because I had to roll back from the hotfix nividia made for dune stability issues. Restarting the game after 3-4 hours helped too.

yea, im playing on capped 60 with fg so it reaches "120", but in more demanding area, when for example "real" fps drops from 60 to 50, with frame generation it is from 120 to 100fps, and it is really noticable in term of imput lag and artifacts

Try uninstalling all mods, restarting the game, then download them again. They've fixed the issue with Curseforge, so you only really need to make sure they're enabled if you're playing on singleplayer/added on to a server.

I was excited. Single player started saving after the update on Sunday then suddenly stopped saving again yesterday. I figured out how to use the extended HUD to see the max structure limit and my current structure count in range. I am NOWHERE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWHERE near the max structure limit. I could build a small town with that. So, it's not me having too many structures or furnishings. Again, I'm not using mods, and I don't have any tames yet in this save. (The game randomly deleted my previous save so I had to start over)

Ah. I've been trying to figure out an issue I've been having since Aberration dropped in December. I'm on PS5 pro and my game stops saving after a while on single player. It doesn't save structure or furniture placement, tames, crafted items, etc. Relatively small base that's FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR below the max structure limit. It's a new map because my previous save was deleted so I don't have any tames yet. I'm also not using mods. Any ideas as to why the game isn't saving my progress in single player?

I've tried "SaveWorld", "DestroyWildDinos", adjusting volume then saving and exiting the game to PS5 main screen, etc. This is a common issue if you look on google so there's a few work arounds, but they eventually stopped working. @plain stag

theoretically they will all eventually fail, although cases of i5s failing entirely are rare

the core of the issue is the CPU voltage gets way, way too high under certain situations, which causes physical damage to it when combined with higher power draw

OK so I have had a very odd issue, sense 5.5, game flashed black screen on launch and then to desktop back and forth, had a work around. I re-installed the drivers and game ran fine, until I shutdown or restarted. No after driver update nothing works just same bogs down pc till it beeps at me switching back and forth from black screen to desktop. Other games run great still, any ideas what I am missing?

Launch then battle eye starts then black screen then back to desktop, see ark splash there, the black screen then back to seeing steam and it's running, then black screen back and forth then a while into it 3-4min of this then beeps and steady black screen and mouse and keyboard lock and unlock up randomly at this point. Mind you this is only happening with ark other games and everything else running fine even 3dmark ran great

tweak your settings. It took me a while but I managed to find a set of settings, that allow me to play for hours before the issue appears, if ever. Settings with many epic options as well, super high quality visuals.

I just encountered a new problem. Booted up my machine, tried to open Ark Ascended. My PC stroked out. The monitors shut off, and the PC emitted some weird beeps for a few seconds before I had to manually power it off. Booted up and logged on again, and the game just crashed on me mid-flight. I am logged in again a few minutes later. No issues, yet. But I expect frame loss. Hopefully, this provides some insight to whoever is reviewing this.

That sounds like it might be a cooling issue - check the heatsinks on your GPU - possibly clogged with dust, and with the way ark uses the GPU you really need that cooling! As for the frame rate issue, it's a known problem with Nvidia cards in the game RN, apparently being worked on

Hello, I'm having an issue with Ark fps drops
I run an i7-10700k
RTX 5060
32gb
Through a RM750x PSU
When I first log in, everything is going great and I'm getting 100+ fps constant though after a certain amount of time the power consumption of both my CPU and GPU drops from 100-125w of usage to around 50 and that's when I start getting 10fps and it doesn't go back to normal unless I restart the game.

The temps are normal GPU 60-65 and the CPU under 60
Any idea how I can make it so it stays constant on the 100+ Wattage consumption?

right click on game in steam library list, select properties, then select launch option with no battleye, launch game and see if it works. if it does, then logout and revert choice to battleeye and restart game

as long as you don't run the save without the mod, nothing will change.
If the save is ever run without the mod all mod items are gone.

dino depot does have admin recovery which I believe stays after so should be fine

depends which you choose. Pelayori's is very similar to the official ones with some differences like the gun to shoot them.
Pelayori's has a cryo gun (shoots cryos), cryo terminal, and neuter gun. those 3 are whats different between official cryos and it. and tons of config options for the cryos themselves.
