if you did not assemble it yourself, a full system wipe is probably in order to remove who knows what, then manually installing all the component's drivers

You know whats really crazy? If they are really far under the map, they don't actually ever die. They are never rendered so they just sit there taking up some of your tame slots. I have a rollrat, moschops and two drakes on my ab server that fell through back in the first two weeks of ab opening. I can still track them with the tame tracker even now. I dread to think how many dinos from all the different tribes are sitting there under the map in limbo.

there are no working obelisks on extinction. you can transfer off using the terminals around the map

If you type some extinction does not have terminals at the oblisqe.
There are city terminals located through out the map that allow you to transfer.
The issue is most city terminals are bugged and you can’t see them. So you can’t transfer off.

The only terminal I believe that is visible to players is the king titan terminal. You have to traverse a dangerous area to get there. If you have a flyer it should be no problem.

i just use alt f4 instead of exiting game because of the crash is behind the window and it is so annoying to use task manager to close it or go to taskbar to move the crashwindow to the other monitor

Hey there, I dunno if I would put my issue in here or somewhere else? I'm having issues running the game on lowest settings on a decent build pc and the game still jitters/freezes on me, It's ark ascended that I'm trying to play. I have an AMD 7800xt 16gb GPU and an AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D CPU, got 32gb of ram and running ark on my SSD but still having issues, all my drivers are up to date and I'm on the latest update of my windows 11 version so I am not 100% sure what the issues are? Would love any advice.

Also tried turning clouds and fog off with console commands to try stop the jitters/freezing but nothing sadly

I already posted this yesterday but I'm still clueless:
I started to host my extinction server again after a while of not playing and suddenly me and my friend are getting kicked out of the game with with "lost/timedout connection to host" errors within the first 2 minutes of joining.
I run my server from our server PC and I play ASA on geforce now, with stable fibreglass internet. I disabled all mods, made exceptions through firewall, reset the router, renewed IP, checked if the ports are okay.
the server console doesn't mention anything about losing connection, I'm so lost 💀

"jitters" is pretty vague. unstable fps? graphical issues? rubberbanding?

drops down from 80/90 to 20

rubberbanding is a network/server lag issue, not much you can do about it unless it is your own outbound connection at fault. fps drops have a ton of possible causes

you are basically at the minimum specs for the game, so stuff is going to be funky. is RAM use going over 90%, or physical VRAM use to 100%?

and is the game installed on a decent SSD?

I believe that when Gachas are hurt they become unhappy. Let it heal and see if that helps. Also, make sure that the Gacha’s aren’t in caves since they become unhappy when inside caves.

Stone foundation if joined is 12 days same as pillars with ladders. On there own there usually only 12 hours. Hope this helps

I have a base nowhere near water if you use even just one water tank it can fill up your crops. You can see the range it covers if you bring the wheel up. Not quite sure what button you have to press to bring it up.

i use stone that i produce in a dino depot with achatina paste, and grind that into stone.
get crafting skill 160 for max raw material production with a snow owl pellet.
it takes around 5 snow owl for them to keep up with the pellets.
if you breed them the production will be randomized on the babies again.

if you make a cliff platform largest, and build out 2 ceilings on 4 corners, you can squeeze in 4 pairs, and if you put a pegomastax a bit behind each pair, those can pick up the crystals for you untill they are full

the higher above the 160 crafting skill you go, the more items you get compared to just raw materials

well i have a premium cosmetic mod in my installed mods list ps5 and i cant uninstall it forcing me to either buy it so i can uninstall it or uninstall asa. You can uninstall all mods (just reinstall your preferred mods after)and disable the custom cosmetic downloads from other people by going into settings>advanced and turn ON Disable Dynamic Downloads.

As with all breeding the stats can come from either the mother (in this case the rhynio) or the father (in this case whatever tame you impregnate, so the bronto) it can take any stat from any parent. Rhynio has 3 things that affect how much of each stat they take. 1:level of the mother. Only way to get 100% on this is by getting a 150 wild rhynio mom. 2: cravings. You have to hit 5 cravings for 20% per craving to get 100% and 3: drag weight of the creature impregnated. Only creatures with a drag weight over I believe 900 will give you 100% in this category.
If there is a certain stat you want carried over you can use a gigaraptor feather during the impregnation process to try for the higher stat, but there is no 100% guarantee you're getting all the stats you want

When I had a mirador server I would change between island and extinction. Back and forth. It would save progress. I can’t speak to modded maps I don’t see why not. Offline Back up your map save if you are not switching frequently so it doesn’t get overwritten.

I should mention that I restored the last save of that map when returning.

i get that sometimes, sometimes alt tabbing through windows can fix it or windows key and re entering the ark window

also check your refresh rate see if it is matching the monitor

I always have my Armadoggo as my companion. When I logged in, companion was off. I was able to find it using GPS. It was 3,000 meters away. When I flew there, it disappeared shortly before I arrived. According to the log, it didn't die, and when I search for it now via GPS, it says there's no such creature. Does anyone know more?

I'm having a similar issue. Logged in and the companion buff is still active, but Armadoggo is nowhere to be found and doesn't show up in my tames list. It just disappeared.

sometimes when i encounter this i run a script that further lowers all of the settings to Ark SE which actually fixes it completly. And fixes the random fog and smoke sprites that blind view

downside is that dino's might look chunky and some elements of taming become harder to spot the mini game like cosmo's

You need to build you a pyromane trap on a raft preferably a motorboat. Then carefully take it to a place that has a shit load of wilds around then tame it there. There should be YouTube videos of different types of them

And then bringing raft close to a wild pyro

Im on evolved on xbox. Playing lost island, I built an egg incubator yesterday and it seems to be bugged. It won’t let me hatch any eggs, or change the temperature. My game was working fine a few days ago but now it crashes constantly.. I have a Nitrado xbox server running quite a few mods but I haven't added any in a while.. It seems that the most recent Ark update broke something but I have no clue what.. Ive tried power cycling my Xbox and reinstalling the game and all mods but nothing has helped.. Most of the time it crashes as soon I log into my server before I get to it but I've managed to get on the server a few times too.. but even then im on 5 minutes or less before my game crashes.. Im not getting error msgs or anything most of the time, the game is just crashing.. Any idea how to fix it?
