You should be able to at any main red, blue or green obelisk if the server you are currently on allows transfers, some don’t.

I played on a pve cluster for a time, but they did not allow players or item to leave the cluster, so i gave my stuff away, uploaded my character and created a new one to overwrite it, then respawned and died so i wouldn’t be tempted to go back.. i ran a server for about 4 years and transferred that fully leveled character and all stuff to solo.

Me and my friend play through all the maps for the story and came across a question. If we do the Overseer on Island on Alpha, it unlocks everything Tek Relaited right? so technically u dont need other bosses on ALpha or do they STill unlock u soemthing ?

i believe you need the alpha trophy heads from brood mother, monkey and dragon to unlock the overseer, they are put in the terminal in the volcano at the entrance of the cave to the overseer, so you have to do those 3 boss fights at a minimum first

Agreed I thought they didn’t take damage. I have lost several dimorphadons sometimes I wasn’t even in combat. A couple times it happened shortly after leaving a cave. While flying away they just died. Idk what’s going on. I have not been able to find their bodies to see how they died. and set it to DLSS quality or DLAA mode
it should look better like that

if you dont have an RTX card then FSR might be better than TSR

Depends on the Dino, imprint timer, and imprint value ( if I can call it that). If the imprint give you 50% then you want to be able to get two imprints in before true Dino matures.

I had an incredibly weird glitch last night? I assume it's a glitch, i was playing on my private non dedicated server with my friend and we were mining for metal on the volcano, when a body popped out of the rock and ragdolled on the ground. A pop up said "you killed human lvl 1" appeared , we were both shocked? There was nothing in the inventory, it was super skinny looking. We thought maybe we got hacked or something but then we were up on the volcano and the body appeared to fly out of a rock?

We do play with mods but its only cosmetic mods like more hair and a few creature mods ans the dino finder. I double checked all the mods to see if maybe one of them added humans and we didn't know about it, but no, no humans. I have screenshots of what happened but I dont know If I can post here.

timeout is typically a network issue, not the PC. unless it is the PC's network hardware. and "HP Omen" could be literally any components over a 15 year range, as long as it is cut-corner and awful enough for HP

If the wall where you are trapped is an outside wall ie you can get to it from the outside and not just another room inside the base.
You could try putting your dino’s head through the wall.
Put your inventory in it.
Die.
Return to the outside of the base with a cryo
Grab your inventory
Then cryo

I'd like to cut down on the Transport time for Metal, either the Item, or a Dino Loaded with it. I currently use an Anklyosaur and a Fleet of Argentavis, but it seems to take 30 mins or an Hour to get them back home because I have to keep looking back to make sure I didn't leave any behind. Is it possible to use something or a mod to allow Teleportation of such things? I'm on ASE, and while I don't have every Tek Item in the game, I did kill the Alpha Broodmother with relative ease and could probably do the same for the other bosses if a Tek item allows such.

that is most likely a buggy dino mod, since it is crashing on setting up a spawner.. but you should probably not be forcing DX10. even considering your CPU is horrifyingly bad, your GPU is fine, and it is not a graphics crash. it does not crash on servers because the thing crashing it is only done by a server, and in singleplayer, you are the server.

honestly a really weird error, i have seen that from ark once before. have you verified the game install already, and are you using any invasive software, ie antivirus, or "gaming" software?

i would say check your memory usage with task manager and see how that is, also check cpu performance

You would need to upgrade ur hardware as that set up won’t run Asa. Due to bottleneck issues also I’d recommend upgrading to an internal m.2 SSD as the connection you have now is not sufficient enough I’d recommend a crucial or a Samsung m.2 externals SSD’s aren’t really meant for gaming

There was a server patch that went out. Rented servers tend ti get the patch after official. I also noticed when I rented that my server would take forever to download the patch.
It’s best to open a ticket with nitrado to figure out why.

i have a problem on ase where the dino levels dont change even when i up the difficulty and when i check the settings again it has reset back to 1.0

1. Make sure you save your change after you change the difficulty. I would exit the game and restart, check that the setting has changed and saved. Once this is confirmed then
2. Run the command destroywilddinos
   This will ensure that any existing low level Dino’s are removed and any new spawned Dino’s will be at the higher difficulty.

i have done this multiple times but if i enter the game the difficulty resets if i close the game it will reset and i have used the command atleast 10 times and the max level is still 120 instead of 150

i also have issue's unlocking achievments survival evolved and artifact archeaologist

the level issue only happens on the island, ragnarok is working just fine

i am far from technically anymore. I just know 8gb cards are becoming problematic for gaming. Seems dev's are targetting 16gb min cards. Which does affect the market, plenty of cheap 8gb cards compared to finding 16gb. With all that said, should be playable, just not sure what setting need to be adjusted.

if it didn't say video memory, I would of said try adding more swap space.. but seems to be specific to video memory.. so might need to wait for someone who has a similar card. If they could get in, there is a whole host of setting which will reduce the demands on the card.

there is youtube videos of people who have the card, but they can least get in.
