fluctuating power levels in the lines/house electrical can make precision electronics (ie computers) crash or get really weird glitches/corruption/freezes. a small battery backup (called a UPS, uninterruptible power supply unit) solves that, mostly

I play ASA on ps5 l went to go see it the mods I added were working and left the world and when I went to load back in it made me make a new survivor so l did and now everything I have is gone and I don't know how to get my old save back I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game which uninstalled all the mods which I just reinstalled again

Idk about ps5 but it looks like your save got corrupted or deleted by uninstalling you probably completely removed the save but idk maybe theres a way to recover it i usually just copy my save once a week to the cloud as backup

You probably got the character bug unfortunately the only way that character can be recovered is by the owner of the cluster as they need to either roll back the server or go in and recover ur player profile from the server

If that is happening in every game on steam, then its either steam itself is broken or your system is corrupted. For steam issues submit a steam report ticket. After you have saved your profile reinstall steam completely.. if that does not work you need a system diagnostic on your hard drive/graphics card

I’ve tried several times I finally got it to do impregnating flight pattern but it kept missing over and over. And the last time I tried it just wouldn’t do the animation for it it just stuck to close range attacks. Any ideas for me to get it to work? I’m on official and I’ve gone through around 20 pheromones by now. I kept its health below 100 out of 4000 while it’s attacking but won’t impregnate. Please give me some tips.

Hello, does anyone know a fix for singleplayer when knocked out creatures fall through the map when going ~800 meters away from the creature? it makes singleplayer unplayable since when u try to tame anything it just falls through. a new save is going to use less memory than one you have built and tamed a bunch of stuff in, for obvious reasons. dont use more than 1-2 large dino, structure, or skin mods, and try to keep your bases fairly simply. dont use tons of different types of structures or leave lots of dinos out

it is a pretty vague error, all i can suggest is you delete the game config files from shootergame\saved\config to clear up any possible weirdness there, and remove any modified launch args/commands. if it continues there are a few things to test

For people who are still playing ASE, they only have three options really. They are either playing on an unofficial server, which is I think what you are calling a "player dedicated server." But that's any server that is hosted on a privately owned machine that is not the same one running the game for a player. Either a rented server, or if they have an extra PC or own a server machine, or own an extra console and that is on all the time hosting the world for people to join. That's what unofficial servers are.

The only other options of course are either single player, or non-dedicated. Which is when someone can host a friend or two on their single player world save. But there is a host tether, since it's being hosted on the same machine that's running the game, the game has to still be able to treat it like a single player game and keep all the players in roughly the same area. And this "server" is only available when the host is online and in game.

There are lots of places to find unofficial server communities where you can actually get to know the Admins and keep informed of their plans etc.

There are Ark Facebook groups set aside specifically for people to advertise their servers. A lot of Youtubers have servers. Me included, though mine are for Patreons and I don't have any ASE servers currently. But I have a channel on my Discord for people to advertise their own servers.

The Ark Facebook groups probably have the most possible ones listed though, especially ASE servers.

Just look for one that fits what you are looking for, your desired play style. PVE or PVP or a combination thereof, active admins and strict rule enforcement, or more hands-off, whatever kinds of settings, rates, and general server culture you want. Whether it's a server where people tend to keep to themselves or whether it's one that's more friendly and helpful. Some have settings specifically to make building easier and more fun… Some are all about that grindy survival experience. There's a huge variety.

So my extinction server is having an issue where anybody who wanders into 50,50 range is hit with a timeout, and is stuck in a constant loop. I have no crash logs because it just disconnects you, can't recreate it with server data in single player, and It isn't a custom cosmetic mod causing it. I'm not sure what could be the issue here. Hey, PS5 ASA singleplayer user here.

Has anyone who plays singleplayer been successful in downloading their survivor to another map after uploading? (This has been a bug since the beginning on ASA singleplayer.) I've already submitted a bug report (no response) googled (others have had the same problem)

As a workaround I've had to create a new survivor on the new map, upload that new survivor, and then download my original survivor.

That's worked from The Island <-> Scorched Earth then to The Center.

But now I have "too many survivors" on the download list and once I go to Aberration I'll be stuck there.

I can just delete everything and use admin commands on a new survivor to get me back up the same level, boss fight/ ascension progress but I rather not have do that every. single. time.

Besides getting/joining a server (not happening, that just makes this game into another job) is there another fix? I didn't have this problem in ASE.

I don't even know if Wildcard is aware/cares about singleplayer.

most likely the character is fine, then. the inventory and stat components are just not downloading on your end, so you see missing stuff. it is a known, but rare, issue

If you have a tribemate you could always have them look in your inventory if you are sleeping (logged out) and their is a chance they can see it and pull it off you to correct it.

This error happens since evolved, only advice i can give u is that u should upload survivor, close the game and open game again and land on the next map, if u dont close the game ull get a crash when landing and ur survivor will be deleted, if u land without problems on game restart soon as u land force a savegame too

Hi guys! im trying to unlock +10 lvls, I got all the notes on all the maps, even meiyin 28 in mesh on ext, but still didnt got +10 lvls. I just don't have some titans holograms and genesis 2 chronicles 17-20 on ext (but I couldn't find any information about them, I'd be glad to receive a hint). So, i just want to know how I can find gen 2 chronicles on ext, because I have them locked in game, and if titan holograms, deinotherium, archelon, pyromane, dreadmare dossiers are needed to unlock +10 lvl?

from what i've heard, the dinos dont all eat from troughs together. it will pick 1 at random to start, it will eat until it's full, then the next in queue will eat

so while dino a is eating, dino c is out of food and quickly dying

so best safeguard is to give babies their own trough, and give a stack of food in their inventory each just in case

I need a fix or something for my ASA, it will not let me see my servers when i have player servers only enabled (checked Nitrado to see that theyre up), and when i have players sessions only disabled, it shows nothing but my servers but the maps all say unknown and its a continuous list of just my cluster but im unable to join any of them. Before the cat update it was like this but i was able to join the passworded map and transfer between. Now im unable to do that even. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but its not working. And of course the website is down so im unable to submit a ticket. Help y'all

will this work to get dino stats up? im playing on a single player world my first time

i have male rex and a female rex, i level them each up by like 40 levels, put everything into the stat i want for each, say i have attack 400% on male and 4k hp on the female, they have a baby

i breed babies until i have two with both of these stats, then i take both and level them up by 40 levels, get one's attack to 700% and one's hp to 7k (just +40 levels in the chosen stat however much that would be)

i breed babies until i have these two stats again, etc. rinse and repeat

is there a cap for how much hp/attack a dino can have? or how much it can inherit i know its 55% chance of inheriting the higher stat

it can also be used to track breeding lines

when you get the small numbers, in general you want mid 40s to start with post tame

50 and higher is great but 40s will do
