Not been able to log onto my unofficial Nitrado server for 2 weeks with Xbox series S. every time I try to join it kicks me back to Xbox Home Screen. Same issue even if I select different maps on the server.

Yes along with missing engrams, missing terminals, when accessing the terminals it crashes, when I finally get to select transfer to another server its hit or miss if the server/servers appear and every time I try and transfer I get booted to the main menu or completely dashboard. I'm hoping the decay timers are still off or at least extended as I haven't been able to get off extinction for 4 days so far 😅

if your on astra map, load a diff map with a new char (or an open server with a char) and then retry loading your normal char.

Yea it's more then one spot that does the crash loop. I can't start a new one. All of my stuff I've collected since starting Asa is on that map. I spoke to the map creator and he is working on it but the black screen issue is something he said wildcard has to fix . I've had a to get a friend to rescue me several times now . So I gave up and just filled my troughs and uninstalled for now but it's B's... We paid for something that doesn't work

A fix that worked for me, if you play on xbox S, official servers , and dont mind lose single player saves, u can try delete reserved space of the game and save data (only on console) in more options of the game on library, not the game, just those files

I haven't played that map, but I had the same problem with astraeos, I got around it by being dragged to a little island and used a tek transmitter to leave. The fog/cloud work around might help but my series s has been struggling with ark since astraeos launched 😓

Astraeos isn't the cause of the problem it's just adding to it, I play it fine on my series x and it says on mod page it's not optimised for series s... your problem is the update either way it won't show unless you uninstall it, try uninstall and stream it see if it launchs

Does anyone use GeForce Now? For a week now, when I launch the game, it takes me directly to the Steam client. I can start the game from there without any issues, but the DLCs don’t load. I think the problem is multiple things, X and S aren't the same, so for developers to make good games they have to either make it worse for the S to handle or focus on making it the best on X. but then it won't preform on S, it's kinda on xbox for making two consoles and expecting devs make two versions of the same game 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve been having this issue the past couple of days on Modded Official PvP servers.
After accessing the inventory of Dino’s or structures a couple of times, my inventory stops working and I no longer see any items on any Dino or structure. If i die and respawn, my implant disappears when this is happening. I tried creating a new character, but the issue persists. I am currently reinstalling the game and all mods, but haven’t tested it yet.
Has anyone else had this issue before? Any insight into how to fix it?

so i have new server with nitrado, im using astraeos map and i have list mods i used few months back. i went through all and double checked if they were still being updated and working, found any that looked like they might be an issue and decided not to use them.

my question would be regarding ark additions mods. mainly the ones that were added to base game, wondering if anyone else that also has these mods or uses them could tell me if i should have the mods still or remove them? mostly because im not 100% sure what dinos spawn on the new map and if these were added to this map or just other base game maps.

Ark Additions added. Ceratosaurus, Deinosuchus, X Fish, Archelons. Nerfed some for balance. They plan to add more but unsure when and which. Once added if you have the modded versions and you've been breeding them, you have to keep the mod to keep that version.

Only way to play without black screen and lagging out flying around on Astraeos and getting in crash loops is uninstalling the map and giving up playing there. Just sucks

I would have bought one of the other modded maps if we knew this change would break Astraeos.

thank you very much for letting me know that, i took break from asa around time they were adding them i remembered players being confused if they should keep mods or remove them. so for deinosuchus for example if it naturally spawned on a map as wildcard nerfed/balanced version you can still choose to keep mod version? sorry just want to make sure im understanding correctly thank you in advance for understanding. wasnt sure if they would overwrite spawn of other version or if it would cause issues adding mod version to map that already had them but if i remember correctly players asked back when they were adding them if they would spawn along side each other so both spawn or if only one can spawn in wild

I started Astreaos with a new character because it's been so buggy I didn't want to risk losing it. I figured I would bring my main over when it felt safer. Before I was able to just overwrite and still have that tribe.

My main seems ok cause I can transfer back to all my other servers. However when I go to Astraeos I'm not part of my tribe.

I play Ark through GeForce and for the last week or so I haven't been able to play with the Dlc's I have purchased, which is all of them. probably network or other environment issues on nvidia's servers interfering with the dlc verification check, not the first time. not the last, either. you have to be prepared for stuff to randomly not work when using exotic environments like that

skyrim uses utterly negligible memory to begin with, so there is way more for mods. original skyrim has a half gigbyte memory limit for the entire game

Nothing, you just fly them over to a rock/node and they'll auto harvest. Sometimes it's finicky, you might have to fly over the node a few times or practically fly the anky/doed into it to make it start

So I was not getting any server listings on Xbox Series X for ASA. After confirming with other people they were able to see the servers. I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled. When I started to uninstall it said I had 199 GB of storage with the base game. After reinstalling it only reinstalled up to 154 GB and I still can't search up my server. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

To clarify, this all took place after the supposed botched update thing. And I had already done the other steps for power cycle etc. Also confirmed correct version of 61.44

Desert has a few cave like areas with an abundance of crystal. Check the Ark wiki for the Ragnarok resource map then isolate just crystal. Murder snow has a crystal cave under the big lake too

Hello everyone, I have a bug with the cyber structures qol+ mod, I can place cs items in solo games, but not on my server.... Do u know how to resolve it ?

There are suppose to be 2 at all times on astraeos and some of the spawn points were not very obvious at first. I haven't been on there for almost 2 weeks now tho so I'm sure it's bugged by now

Next bug: SIR-5rM8 no longer works correctly. I have set it to Butler. Crop plots should contain 6x fertilizer. Fertilizer is in the Vault and Whitdrawel is activated (bright). There is enough space between Crop Plots and Vault ... He is now walking around looking and babbling and looking and babbling and looking ... but no longer works (several crop plots where only 5 of 6 Fertilizers are in). I've already set them up again several times. There have also been server restarts.

I can't get it to take any of the berries out and put them in the fridge a few squares away....

One of the key features of the Bob Tales DLC and doesn't work 😦

I’m back to crashing on single player maps

I have an issue, somehow ARK ASA detects Im playing with controller when Im not, due to this I can't even more the camera with the mouse. The game is unplayable rn for me as I can't even move the camera. I tried reinstalling, disabling the controller input from steam. Nothing worked.

Xbox S Unofficial cluster. Have not been able to get back on the map since the 16th of Feb 😦 except for one day with the trick 🙂 And yes I know Nekatus warned S players about some issue with the map. HOWEVER the 3 days I was able to play I had none 😛

On PS console, you have two options to do this:

if you have a ps+ subscription, you can restore a savefile from the cloud, but only from the last upload. Use this feature by closing the game every few hours, manually uploading the save to the cloud, and restarting the game. Then if it crashes or data corrupts, restore the save from the cloud. By default PS will automatically back up save data at certain periods so this method doesn't give you the ability to switch between several files, just restore the recently uploaded save.

You can use a usb/external storage to make copies of PS save files, and switch between them.

lol, yeah have heard a bit from Kel regarding kit stability. So, for the game.....moving it onto a partition formatted with the highest sector size will increase the io throughput. Kit has alot of small files so it doesn't benefit from large sector sizes as much compared to the packed archives of the game. And you can use something like process lasso to separate the game threads out onto individual cores instead of it being all pilled on under only a few cores with multiple threads. Might gain some there. That also works for the dev kit as well...

Does any1 know the solution to prevent your game from crashing everytime you load/transfer into an official server. I can join a server and create my character and spawn in but after that, everytime I load into a server and am on the respawn menu my game crashes. I also crash when I transfer to other servers on the official cluster as well. I made a ticket but it's been a week and I am not sure it's ever going to be solved.
