Its funny you reference that one from the 21st of Feb notes. My friend on Xbox was playing since release up until that patch, now, they got the black screen of no play on Ast. Funny that a workaround was stated in the pin on the 22nd too about making a single player and removing this and that and it might fix it, if you fidgit with it a few times.

make sure to disable singleplayer settings. that messes with a bunch of other settings.
for breeding, there is a ratio you need between mature rate and imprint interval (may be called cuddle interval) if you give me a time for rexes(or another dino) I can tell you what you need for both.

It very well may be that they dont have a fix yet, since the scope of Ast map is far more complex I believe then previous maps. Plus Ast is still sort a work in progress and I imagine it will only get worse before it gets better.

The patch yesterday broke it for me on steam. I was playing during the morning and then i updated and it crashes when trying to load the map now. I can connect to it if i use directx 11 but it looks like crap so they broke directx 12 capability for astraeos

Wondering if any Series X players can advise or anyone really for that matter but just wondering if anyone else gets this. Whenever I play on single player there is 2-3 seconds of input lag whenever I open an inventory of any kind be it mine, a storage box, a smithy etc. It's frustrating when trying to craft or for inventory management as when trying to collect or even transfer stacks of an item 9 times out of 10 it will transfer the stack I'm on and also the one next to it which if it's the same is fine but I end up putting kibble in vaults, meat in cupboards etc and it just makes all of the processes slower. Is this just the way the game is optimised or rather not or is there something that could be causing this as my tv has game mode on, fog is off, clouds off, grass density down etc all in the hopes it's ro do with performance but it's honestly at the point where I can't just sit and chill when I don't wanna play official

Have you tried creating a character/logging into alt character on the same account on a different server? Then disconnect once fully loaded in and try to reconnect to your astaeos server

You can even use single player as well, Once you have a character on a server it seems to give it a kick to help bypass the join failed/ connection lost ect

All of them are allowed in SP.
Which ones you "need" depends on the content you want. If you want the vanilla counterparts, no mods are necessary for the cerato, fish, archelon, deinosuchus and I think 1 more but I do not remember. If you want the modded variants, you need to download each one.

It’s not Nitrado, DayZ and most of the other games are back online w/o issues relying on Nitrado Servers. Check DownDetector. ASA Official remains offline for whatever reason but it’s not because of Nitrado. Nitrado has also said they’ve been told they aren’t allowed to give or comment any information regarding the ASA Official Network by their customer, Wildcard….

Whenever I change the settings and press save settings and then load into my single player it never uses the settings that I set it to. I’ve tried several times.
