wtf is going on with this update?? It isn't nitrado, just more wasted money on servers that can't operate due to every update being broken. Literally 0 changes were done on my end. Got a new server, almost a month in and only a week of playtime due to this constantly happening.

is "Disable Structure Placement Collision" not include terrain on asa like it does on ase? i have it on so i could build in caves easier but all it does is allow some items to get near walls like foundations ceilings and pillars, etc. but when it comes to gates being on foundation it messes them up and says obstructed and won't allow placement in terrain and same goes for any deployables like industrial forge.

Is there an issue with not being able to see items in any inventory other than our own character’s? The items are present but not visible unless their name is typed into the search bar. Only then can they be transferred into our inventory, even from a dino’s inventory.

There's again a problem with inventory.
We got a black box with only 50-60 items and can't get anything with it.
Human implant take multiple slots in the inventory for no reason.

The only way to fix that is to suicide and respawn, but if you transfer, you need to do it again

I had an issue when I logged on and had 3 implants and my inventory had gotten Arked. The fix I found was to “respawn” using my implant and I was able to respawn. Sadly my inventory didn’t come back but it fixed the black weight box and I’m back to 1 implant thankfully.

🦕 So it's normal now that after every patch or update none of my save games work properly anymore?! Are you serious? Since yesterday afternoon I haven't been able to access my The Island single player save game. I've made the most progress there and this would be the sixth time I've had to start from scratch.

So playing official and whilst transferring to another server with items and tames in inventory . When I spawn in to other server I have lost everything including in my hot bar and clothing. Nitrado is all you've got if you're on Ascended, if you want it to basically have the server set up for you and all you need to do is fix the rates and mods and such.

What map are you trying to build on? The mesh is so wonky in Extinction that I can't even place stairs on the back of my base even though nothing is obstructing them. If it's another map, then I'm not sure why it won't let you

I don't think you'll like this answer any better, but swamp cave in redwoods has good saddle BPs. So does hard snow cave. You need gas masks for swamp cave and probably a rex for hard snow cave.

The previous ASE maps are included fully in the ASA install at the moment (ie Scorched, The Center, Aberration, and Extinction). They'll make them available as separate installs later on. But they're included "for free" regardless.

I had to leave for an hour or so, after I asked how to remove death marker from my map. Ok, I tried right click on map, not doing anything. I tried to hold M and right click, nope, still moves my camera around. I cant get a cursor on the map because the mouse is locked to camera movement.

Edit to add: Ohhhh found it! When in death screen, I can untick (left click) death markers. I could not get that option while my survivor was alive.

there is a delay in the camera motion caused by interpolation, that was not in ASE. it drives the pvpers up a wall

unfortunately it is kind of needed for some features to work without looking janky, but theoretically a mod could replace the camera system

the ones with dates are your backups. delete the 0KB one, copy the most recent dated one, and rename that copy to ScorchedEarth_P.ark

Tip: to get tamed dinos who are stuck in mesh, out. Take a dino of same type nearby, change its setting to enable wandering and copy it to nearby dinos of the same type. Use a dino leash just far enough that meshed dino wont be in smallest circle. Turn on dino leash. Cycle through the leash sizes to smallest (1), whistle follow all or 1, it will get pulled into the leash and out of mesh.

Hey, so I did some research and it looks like my BIOS were back from 2022. Flashed my BIOS and apprently others had issues with there 4070 Super underperforming like mine. After Flashing the BIOS I went from about 35-40 stuttering frames at 2k medium settings to 60-70 fps. I am sure I could overclock but this did wonders for me

I'm testing turret damage in a singleplayer/non-dedicated server.
For some reason the turrets just straight up ignore any dino resistance, fx the turret does the same damage shooting a rex and a trike's head (265). They both have no imprint no mate boost or any other buffs, and prim 25 armor saddles. And as far as I know a trike's head should only take 44 damage.
I've reset the settings, turned off single player settings and other stuff, but nothing changes. I don't have any mods on or anything, I've also tried different maps. Still nothing.

They did not display correctly and when i looked in the Modmenu it said that i need to delete mods in order to install or update them. Im a bob back with a prob, recently Im once again having the problem where dinos WITH FUR (I'll list examples below) have their non fur part look blocky and unrendered (fur itself is fine).

Earlier I could fix this by setting View Distance to high or higher or changing the poolsize but now nothing seems to work after Extinction

List of Dinos affected (confirmed by me so far)

i had this issue, increased my ram to 32GB and put my textures to high and it fixed itself, however only the direwolves were blocky for me (doesn't hurt to play with the texture setting to see if that works)

so disabling FG might help

it takes 2 fully rendered frames with information on where geometry moved between those 2 frames and inserts one in between essentially doubling the perceived fluidity (doubles your fps)

Look, I forgot to mention a few other things because in this crash error there are three things that caught my attention, which are 'ntdll.dll unknown function' and another one like 'KERNEL32.dll unknown function'.
