Hello, im having a bit of an issue on extinction asa, the corrupted dinos for me are like a mesh of bright light anyone know whats going on?

Heyo. Been playing Extinction. Jut went into my dossier and noticed ALL sorts of things are missing. Like almost everything is missing. And several Dino entries no longer have the checkmark. Is this a known bug atm?

To be even more specific. The only Dossiers I have remaining are from The Island. And the Dino's are there for the most part. But many of the Dino Dossiers do not have the check mark where they did before. I just tamed a Snow Owl and did not get the entry

is there any secret way of getting easy gigas and charchars right now that isnt transferring to the center for them? im on singleplayer extinction and searched around the ice dome and even attempted around the desert one but havent seen a single one, but with the tracker mod i have for checking spawn issues like this i saw that there were 31 corrupted gigas on the north side of the map and i also have the more giga and charchar spawns mod so i dont know if that somehow is messing it up or if giga spawns on extinction are just weird right now

Not sure if right place but me and my server are at a loss. Basically, having this weird issue where we log in and appear to have no items.
I know of the inventory bug and removing/re-adding mods since we've had that but this seems a little different?

Besides items, structures and creatures appear to just not exist. There is nothing but the map itself.

Unlike the other invisible inventory bug, unlike that one where we could still be seen online with each other, the person crashes before they load in, however they don't get kicked and appear to run around on their end.

For instance, they will stand up and fall like 5 seconds later, but on their screen they can run around in the nothing for like 3 mins.

Any know anything about this?

I've stopped getting xp from doing anything on game on official, I get zero xp now and don't how to fix it, I've restarted my game, respawned my character, transfer to other offical servers, fast traveled, tried various methods and I get none while my tribemates still earn no xp. It is a game issue, not the OS. It's bugged for multiple users and there hasn't been a reliable fix from the community, so please file #bug-reports and either continue trying or just be patient. Some users have had luck switching from gamepass to GeForce, or vice versa, or use steam if possible.

I managed to get into my server. I just kept joining until I got a white screen after I made my character. I also got my message of the day while I was in the character creation menu, which seemed to indicate that I made it in. Hello, I have an error and it is that when I try the server (Nitrado) with my friends on the extinction map, it lets them play but it doesn't, it lets me create the character but when I enter the world the screen stays black and It starts flashing and then it takes me out of the server, but if I go to an official server or someone else's, it will let me, I have searched but I haven't found a way to solve it. Been happening to me since Extinction launch, the only workaround I've found is by logging in dead. Either get my tribe mates to kill me, or suicide before I log off.

If I log in dead I can spawn random or in bed and it's fine.

I managed to get in after a friend was able to kill my player, but it took a couple attempts to respawn my character. But then I tried logging out and back in, just for my player to be cooked again.

it might not be just dino-depot mod, it could also be other mods, that need a re-cook after the patch, since they did change a lot of stuff on the backend with saving etc

Like everyone else I'm having issues get on the extinction map. I also am inside my head with 0 ping. Un-installed everything, restarted my laptop. Nothing. Something I noticed is my version is 57.19 while the unofficial servers I play on are 57.17.

I had that too, what i did is let the whole trailer play after creating my character without touching anything. I think i got kicked after that but then i rejoined and skipped the videos and it somehow worked for me 🤷‍♀️

Mine did that all day yesterday and we found out a way to fix it is go into your settings on your pause menu, go to video, go to the bottom of the list and click the button ( I can’t remember what it’s called) and the gamma settings will pop up on your bottom left. Change the gamma to about 37. Click apply and then save and it should fix it

most likely a mod corruption, try unistalling the mod in the client, close the game and let the server redownload the mod, on console might need to restart the console after uninstalling the mod

just a few bugs i have experienced on my extinction server please tell me if anyone has fixes

1. Cannot pick up structures - everyone on the server
2. Cannot split stacks in my inventory - 2 people on the server
3. Some vanilla structures wont load at all - 1 Person
4. Cannot pick things up off the ground at all - Everyone on the server
5. No enforcer Bps - known issue
6. No item bags drop upon death so if you die you loose everything - Happens about half of the time

for numbers 1, and 2 the issue was not there initially but started halfway through yesterday and has not gone away

I have the same issue. Only fix I have found is to kill myself before logging off. Next time I login, I respawn. If I do not do this, I get inside my head with nothing loading timeout message. My friend has the same issue, and I have to kill his character when he gets stuck.

If noone can kill yur character, the only solution I found was to reload a past save while your character was in use. Sometimes I got lucky and fell to my death. Honestly a game breaking bug I have been seeing other players getting as well.

That sucks. I had to reload my server(previous save) until I (admin) was able to get in. Once in I was able to kill others so they could get in. 45 minutes of my life.... 😦 Now we log off over a campfire. I also saw someone mention that if your server is in a cluster, create a new char on another server and attempt to transfer it. When you load in extinction instead of override you keep your same char and this somehow gets past the bug.
