you can invite each other to a singleplayer game save you have, but it comes with restrictions, like you are tethered to each other so can't leave a certain distance and whomever joins, is the one who can't play without the one hosting.
Your best bet is renting a server from nitrado, that way you can both play for as long as you keep the server up and running. It can be password protected

3600 should be your target for 2 rank/channel, gains over that are tiny and expensive. 3200 for 4 rank/channel. the former will be better for ark and most games

Yes, something has changed in the cosmetic/skin system. Look in your inventory in the Cosmetic tab and then on the right-hand side. There you also have two tabs. Take a look, maybe you'll find your skins there. This new approach with the skins causes confusion and is often the reason why the inventory is full even though you hardly have any items with you. It's confusing and cumbersome.

To see your cosmetic do this... go to any storage then choose your left tab cosmetic you will be able to see them on right side of your screen then change middle from you to storage go right grab 1 at a time and place them in storage

thats actually an invisible items glitch, the items are still there but invisible. on top of that there is a bug withskins duplicating, filling your inventory with crap that you cant see as well.
fast travel from a bed and look into the bag, your stuff should still be there. Dont pick it up with the "transfer all" , the invisible skins are also in there and will fill your inventory again, grab items manually.

there are some weird things and different solutions. crafting a skin somehow fixed one players skin menu, another reported throwing away a skin fixed it, fast traveling helped alot of our players. dying sometimes fixes stuff too. the bug in general is invisible items and skins that clutter your inventory and bug your inventory making everything else invisible too that you pick up. server traveling makes it worse by duplicating your "unlocked skins" in your inventory.

my ark just decided to reinstall so I can't check it. but the guide they gave said a file called "UECommandLine.txt" should be in the game folder, inside that just add "-culture=en" (en for english) and then just save it

when I do paint creatures on singleplayer, the paint will only last until i exit the game--and upon getting back in, the paint is gone and I cannot paint any of that same type of dino again, at all. when I try to load paintings onto the dino, it says painting failed. it only started happening (i think) after i installed the fear ascended mod but i'm unsure if that's the reason, it's uninstalled and persists. All my dyes are missing from my cosmetic tab as well and I can only view which ones i have when in the painting preview. 😅

No commands but you can definitely make use of Awesome Teleporters, which lets you teleport them back to you with a dino tracker. If one dies, you can use Dino Revival. Both are great mods

it reports meaningless nonsense for GPU load levels, and CPU load level is not indicative of much to begin with

there are ways to check, but they are a little more involved

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it didn't fix anything

Someone suggested I die and retrieve the corpse.....but all that did was lose me whatever was on my hotbar - which included a level 432 Argy with brilliant colors.

Hi there. I have a tiny problem (literally, i think it wont take too much tame to explain)
so: i have a problem with engrams. Example: i have learned some engrams (pickaxe, axe etc) before i downloaded a bit of mods (2)
and then i started to notice that some engrams that i have learned before are just not learned, and local game was created without mods, and then a few were added. some engrams resets after restarting the game

Having two issues basically.

First is trying to remove Ichtyornis and Pegomastax from the server, hate thos thieving bastards. I use the ASA Server Manager and have them unchecked and even replaced both with Dodos but they still keep spawning after several dinowipes, any tips?

Second is that beer barrels seems to not be producing or doing it so in an astronomically slow pace. Like days between each beer. They're irrigated and have fruit and thatch inside.

that is a GPU crash/fault of some sort, usually means minor hardware instability or driver compatibility issues, but if you have a remotely up to date driver, the latter is unlikely

You have never needed to own it on the server to play it, only to have access to the content, so that part is intended. You were making it out as you had to buy it to play your server. Go into steam>library >asa>settings>properties>dlc>uncheck and recheck BTT/fantastic tames and see if that helps.

we just did all 3 island alpha's with 18 theri's (80-100 saddles) 21k hp, and around 1300 melee most with vampiric 1, and in total around 15-25 veggies used per theri) 2 yuti's (25 saddles)(50k hp and imprint) and 2 players buffing only on the yuti's.
we did all 3 straight after each other, with swapping out the yuti's, the theri's didn't need healing inbetween, took less then a hour after we set them p on the obelisk

the hp/melee and veggies, and yuti i think are more important then just the raw saddle %, since dragon does %hp based damage

Try picking it up and placing it again, sometimes they bug out, especially if modded structures.

Sp or official does not matter regarding saddles. Percentages are still better than quality.

so same as official, just 5 regen instead of 1, so that is only to make them heal after a fight slightly faster

wait upon checking my servers version it didnt update my clusters when i ran the update command in steamCMD

the way i updated before i made the cluster doesnt work now that its a cluster. im not sure how to get it to update the servers

have you tried turning them off and on again? 😉 i know nitrado updates are automatically if they have the update ready to be deployed

not sure on self hosted (steamcmd) servers
